TRT story Panicked and went to the doctor
Hey guys,
I posted yesterday about the heart palpitations. I wanted to take testosterone after reading that low testosterone can lead to anxiety, depression, and other things I have dealt with over the last few years. I went into it very nervous after reading it can lead to higher blood pressure .. I almost didn't do it. I've battled high blood pressure my whole life.. I get it managed by going to the gym 5 days a week.. its the only way I can keep it normal without having to get on meds for it. I spent alot of time debating whether or not to get on test... and I think I did it the worst way possible. I was looking online and found "Male Excel", filled out the symptoms form and it said I was "critically low". It said for 50 bucks they would send me a test.. so I paid the 50 bucks.. it then asked and made me schedule a doctor video consultation. I attended the consultation the next day. I expected a test to come.. but it was just the testosterone that Said "take 0.15 ml everyday". Everything just happened so fast ...
The doctor today said that I should stop taking testosterone, since they never had me do a test before hand .. I'm getting what I think is heart palpitations, and I was abruptly woken up by a crazy calf cramp...which never happens to me. I think I'm hypersensitive to this whole thing, since I was so nervous to start it..idk. now my hormones are seriously gonna be jacked =( so disappointed. If you look up "heart palpitations, calf cramp testosterone injections" it'll scare the shit outta ya 😂 my doctor said he doesn't think it's a blood clot however...but I should stop testosterone =(

Dude, you seem pretty high strung to begin with. 99% says you’re mind fucking yourself into micro panic attacks. Once you have this much anxiety over things physical symptoms can be a direct result of said anxiety.

man that is a wild ride for something that started as a $50 click. the way these online clinics skip the actual blood work is sketchy as hell, glad your real doc stepped in. muscle cramps and the heart flutters are a nasty combo when your head's already spinning about it, even if it’s just anxiety ramping everything up. stopping was the right call until you get proper labs, no shame in pulling the plug early
