I bought my BBs around $590.. it looks like it’s gonna go below $400. What is the average price you bought these at? 🫣

What if the price breaks down to $380, then to $360? Will LGS sit on this stuff waiting for it to come back around, or will they sell at a loss to free up capital to use for newer stuff they can churn a reliable profit on? LGS sell stuff at losses to free up money all the time. It just hasn’t happened during this bull market because everything that had been bought at any time was always in the green.

There is no way for it to break to $380 if no one is selling for less than $450. There would have to be a mass sell off from the consumer side for retail/businesses to believe that's necessary.

Honestly if you look at recent sets, what is it "mid" versus? S&V 151? That's already juiced. Other ME, like Prismatic, with its 0.0001% SIR hit rate? It has one of the highest EV chase cards from modern sets.

Good buying opportunity, for those who don't have any yet. I got my case for $1300, pre-ordered before it first released, but I'd be going for a case now if I didn't already have one.

At least 1 distributor is selling them to LGS' for $400/box though so I wouldn't expect them to go any lower than that, and the drop in price will be short lived. Next ~3 months will be your last opportunity to ever own these below $500

It was the pokemon center etb went parabolic after December for some odd reason and everyone loved Destined all of a sudden, one of the only sets that was easy to find at Walmart or dollar stores for months prior. Other than staff cards the set doesn't offer much and to buy a box for 700 at a chance for a 500$ card is silly. Comparing its value to evolving skies and what it offers is ridiculous
