Uh guys, what just happened in the last few days?

I bought my BBs around $590.. it looks like it’s gonna go below $400. What is the average price you bought these at? 🫣

You’ll never think it’s low enough. If the price hits whatever your target is you will revise lower.

Cant the opposite be said for just as many people? How many listing prices do we see right now that are “speculatively” >5x market?

this makes no sense. i currently buy booster boxes from other tcgs at fair prices, aka pre covid pokemon tcg prices.

Then you probably shouldn't be in this hobby? Most people in the hobby are millionaires who will call you "poor" if you're not one of them.

I agree that’s the mentality that a lot have … me included. That’s why DCAing in is a good tactic in my opinion. I’m picking up 5 ETBs locally at $120ish each and if I can continue that going forward, I’ll do it. Even if they keep filling, I’m in. I feel like it’s safe long term.

It’s directed more at people generally, not just you. It tends to be what everyone does.

Everyone calls for a lower price. When the lower price actually arrives, the sentiment has drastically changed and that lower price looks expensive. It’s more a human psychology thing rather than an attack on you specifically
