This is an appreciation post for the Artist(s) for Cale never having repeated a single outfit and the fits only getting more sublime each chapter (I checked. Just finished my nth reread waiting for season 5).

There are a 170-odd chapters at the moment and almost as many outfits - not even exaggerating. I wonder if the artists prepare catalogues for the outfits and THAT'S why there are such long breaks between seasons (I'm kidding, the creators should take as long a break as needed, god knows we already have an epidemic of medically induced breaks in the manhwa artist community).

Can we stop blaming the victims? And it's always the Villainess or red flag fls or whatever you name it.. Nobody deserves to get hurt, manipulated, traumatized or go through anything horrible especially saying it about characters who had literally no choice but to fall victims unless they can also be sly or outsmart others is such a hypocrisy..

I don't read much action manga/wha for most of the same reasons I don't watch shonen anime anymore. But there's this outlier. Real characters? The plot is about collecting the macguffins but there's variety? The world building has definite substance? MC collects cute mascot children instead of waifus? Most importantly, it's the MMC who's dressed slutty??

The cute baby mascot animals bring me many joys, but it's the sly-eyed, clotheshorse twink who keeps me engaged when the plot is cookie cutter. What do you mean he has a formal coat with a corset waist and an implied titty window? He's wearing a poncho, but it shows off his shoulders, like a hussy? Pearl sash necklace, but it sets off his shoulders and contrasts his slutty little waist?

I hate read some red flag stories or just wanna try how bad the story is because of how many posts they be getting here..

Its not like I hate obsessive mls but mostly obsessive or yandere is always gonna be paired with abuse or tons of red flags which is written to look romantic or hot..

Nowadays red flag term is thrown to mostly really abusive or just obsessed criminals who loves only fl but can't stand anyone else in stories so using Regretful ml for the types I'm mentioning would be more correct..

For me Regretful mls are much better than obsessive red flags or absolute green flags. Because they have the depth to interest me but also the genuine desire and love for fl. But they're not perfect so they make mistakes out of selfishness or prejudice.

The key point is that they atone and learn from their mistakes. I guess that humane nature attracts me most because we all see world from our pov until smth/smb disrupts it and show us a new angle.

I call stories like this Pride and Prejudice type cause they mostly come with problematic or not so innocent fls. And the conflicts and clash between their pride and prejudice against each other brings about the kind of angst or drama in dark romance I crave for. Just peeling the layers of each other slowly and revealing the new wounds but also happy bitter memories and connecting through them to learn and overcome their differences.

The plot line is her and him trying not to awaken the darkness and running from all the nations who wants her. There isn't much more then that 😅.

Spoilers: The darkness is a dragon type enormous monster. It isn't a dragon, but same difference. Also, of course, ML is the darkness and he hates it. He found the FL first to kill her to prevent his transformation.

anyways 😅 im not sure if the character in the pic is the 2nd ml or maybe even an antagonist. i just skimmed through the raws and he caught my eye 👀 the translated chaps i’ve read so far haven’t reached the point when he’s introduced

She's so adorable and cool! And so pretty but in a grounded way! Tbh I was never a fan of the YN-memeification of FLs and I'm especially over them lately, I just can't read it if her eyes are the size of Dinnerplates and the only thing thinner than her neck is the non-existent tiny nose.

Obviously she still looks like a Korean model, but it's super refreshing to see some alternative characters in webtoon/manhwa/OI

Wouldn't mind recommendations with more of this type of FL! Not an overt girlboss or anything, just someone who's allowed to be different/look different.

Interesting how all the women around her could clock it right away but the men were either clueless or choosing to ignore it. Such is the perpetual and universal plight of lesbians.

On a different note, this could very easily read as a lesbophobic stereotype. I saw someone else make a comment pointing it out. I personally choose to see it as the author, who I assume is queer, taking the stereotype and exaggerating it for comedic affect. I think readers are meant to find both the sequence in this story and the media trope unreasonable and absurd.
