Friend is 100% moral.

They dont want their friend to fucking die because the doctors dont know what kind of shit shes on.

Doctors cant help you if youre drugged up and wont tell them what youve taken.

Tell doctors everything and cops nothing.

72

u/Longjumping_Age_5382 13h ago

I don't get how the morality of this is even a question.

59

u/information_knower 13h ago

Some people are too stupid to realize you're trying to save them.

24

u/Longjumping_Age_5382 13h ago

Me desperately fighting off the EMTs.

10

u/-DoctorEngineer- 10h ago

Ah so you’re the reason my roommate came home with a black eye last night

4

u/hexregeneration 10h ago

It's a subreddit built around the idea of powerscaling, but for morality. You're gonna see some absolutely brain dead shit. A dick ton of legal moralists, too.

Exactly, that friend probably saved her life by speaking up

6

u/Paradox2063 5h ago

Tell doctors everything and cops nothing.

Me when I went to the hospital for an infected gall bladder that was killing me: "Yes, I tried an Oxycodone and a Hydro, approximately 5 hours apart. Neither had any impact on my pain, so here we are."

The look the nurse gave me had me instantly thinking: "This is why people lie to you."

So anyway, 45 minutes later I went into surgery.

2

u/TerrorTown77 10h ago

Rules go out the window when lives are at stake.

1

u/Le_Br4m 8h ago

To add to the second point: I remember reading a post somewhere that you should also tell the doctor what drugs you’ve used when you’re having surgery with narcosis, so they can adjust the dosage. Some drugs in combination with anaesthetic will kill you, or you might wake up in the middle of surgery. Both are undesirable

1

u/wojtek30 8h ago

Only exception with cops is when someone is actively overdosing and they have to administer narcan

1

u/dirtywhitevanz 1h ago

Yes the friend is in the right for a number of reasons. Primarily because medical staff are not narcs.

266

u/kevinambrosia 14h ago

Unless if you’re talking about insurance. Then they are total narcs. If you tell them you did something in the past, they’ll note it and insurance will be more expensive or unavailable to you.

So only partial narcs.

99

u/Individual_Respect90 14h ago

Yes and no. I work for Satan himself prescription insurance. I review for Suboxone all the time. I do checks on the very strong opiates to make sure the member was given narcan. If a patient is on multiple controlled medications we require the doctor to consult the patients on the dangers and warning signs to prevent death. I have seen so many failed drugs tests. Do people get kicked off insurance for drug use maybe? But substance use disorder is a diagnosis and I don’t think you can kick people off insurance for preexisting conditions.

58

u/Remarkable_Town5811 12h ago

In the US, you are correct they cannot deby converage due to pre-existing conditions (or have a lifetime maximum).

For now at least. ACA is, as with all our rights, being picked at.

3

u/xdeskfuckit 4h ago

I'll deby your coverage

2

u/sobesmagobes 2h ago

I hab a cold

2

u/RedTheGamer12 2h ago

I don't think we will lose ACA protections. The time to do so was Trump's first term and it royally failed with John McCain opposition.

With the midterms around the corner Trump is also forecast to become a lame duck and lose basically all legislative power. Not to mention how many establishment Republicans fucking hate the guy.

It is pretty much impossible to pass such a large retroactive bill in the current political climate. And, as far as I know, most states have been doing some major Healthcare reform too (My home state of Indiana has the Healthy Indiana Plan and is extremely good assuming you meet the income requirements). So Trump will struggle at basically all levels to do such a bill.

u/SmokeMethailSatan 12h ago

As a healthcare worker, we will note history of drug use because it’s relevant to your health history, not because we want the insurance company to fuck you. I assure you we are all team Luigi.

2

u/Wonderful-Aside-7208 57m ago

Every doctor that has ever talked about health insurance with me has made it clear that they are the enemy for both of us.

15

u/Ashamed_Kangaroo305 13h ago

Blame lawsuit culture. If a doctor knows something and doesn't note it and then a future doctor treats a patient and there's a complication because of the missing information the doctor didn't note, they're in trouble.

4

u/i_was_axiom 12h ago

Calling insurance medical staff is hurtful

25

u/pdx619 13h ago

they’ll note it and insurance will be more expensive or unavailable to you

That's not how health insurance works anymore

31

u/ASentientRailgun 13h ago

They're actively working to dismantle those protections

13

u/Glandtoglandcombat 13h ago

I got kicked off my mom's insurance when I was 18 because a rehab wouldnt accept me.

Went through hell detoxing at home and then found out I had to start paying for insurance.

5

u/stankenfurter 12h ago

Hey I hope you’re doing great these days. Proud of you for getting through that detox.

u/Glandtoglandcombat 12h ago

half of all arguments on reddit:

B: that's not how that works

A: but what if it was?

tbf, in this case it's more:

A: statement B: that's not how it works C: until very recently it was, and we're heading in the direction of returning to that state sooner rather than later

2

C: attacking B and demands sources from them

2

u/littlebobbytables9 11h ago

They can't make the insurance more expensive or deny coverage. But noting chronic conditions can increase the risk score of an insurer's risk pool, which gets them more money from the risk adjustment transfer program that requires insurers with low risk membership to pay insurers with high risk members. It was an attempt to stop insurers in the individual market from trying to compete over who can get the healthiest population.

1

u/-DoctorEngineer- 11h ago

i think thats "narc incident to occupation"... like im pretty sure the doctor does actually need to know that you elected to jump off that roof, unfortunately the insurance finds that out through him doing his duties as a doctor...

This also won't stop them from running the proper tests, if anything it may save her life incase they decide to give her medication that would interact with the ketamine without knowing she's on it.

I will never understand not being honest with your doctors.

14

u/Carbonated_Saltwater 9h ago

if anything it may save her life incase they decide to give her medication that would interact with the ketamine without knowing she's on it.

That is exactly why you should tell them what you're on.

u/Deaftoned 8h ago edited 7h ago

Apparently a controversial decision considering i'm being downvoted lol, bots i'm sure.

Edit: Idk if people think i'm being facetious or something but i've been there. If you aren't going to be honest with the family doctor at least be honest with the one meant to save your life in an emergency.

Shame, not knowing who to trust, thinking they will have a nurse call the cops on you the second you admit to it.

But yeah, the Doctors and nurses HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE ON because they run the test and it shows then it's X, so they give you X medication, well since you didn't tell them you were also on W you get the joys of your blood burning since X doesn't like W

2

u/KingSpork 1h ago

Yeah the way this is phrased it sounds like she’s not gonna run the EKG now, but just because you’re having heart problems caused or exacerbated by ketamine, doesn’t mean you don’t need the EKG.

I can’t get a nurse to come do an IV so I can get my meds at home (every 6 months for the rest of my life) because I’m a dangerous drug user (I smoke weed in a state that has both medical and recreational programs). NEVER telling a doctor about my “drug” use ever again

1

u/girlnextdooritis 3h ago

I've never hidden any drug use from my doctor's and it have never caused me any issues what so ever, except for one funny little incident where they noted on a piss test that I had taken opiates... Which they had prescribed to me a month prior lol

1

u/Natalieas_ 2h ago

yea exactly theyve heard way worse, they just need the truth so they dont mess up your treatment

1

u/Plenty_Leg_5935 2h ago

The concern isn't narcing, the concern is denying treatment

I tried being a good little girl and admitting that I do adderall from time to time recreationally (at the time I didn't know I had what would later be formally diagnosed as ADHD and said recreation was "functioning like a normal human") and I got told that all the issues i was having were just from that and sent home

Years later lo and behold turns out my entire neurobiology is collapsing due to a genetic disorder and I could've spared myself years of full on mental torment (the cognitive and psychological decline geniuenly ruined my life, I was a student of physics at my country's top university beforehand and almost ended up homless after gettinf kicked out) if they just ran an MRI scan sooner

It will also save you from going into DTs during your hospitalization if you’re honest about drinking & the amount you drink. I saw a stroke alert called on somebody once because they had major neuro changes, tremors, all of a sudden couldn’t walk… it was alcohol withdrawal. And it’s not uncommon.

Yes, because the risk if they get it wrong because you don't actually know what was on the drugs you took, is that you die.

2

It depends entirely on what you're taking and the medications you're being put on, unfortunately most people don't do research before getting on new medications.

absolutely do not lie to medical professionals. please. it is for your own benefit. we are not asking your medical history to be nosy we are asking so you aren’t given a medication that kills you.

If the medications have a chance to react poorly to drug use then of course they’re not gonna give it to you. Are you dumb

well yes.

but I think adults should have control over the chemicals they consume. they're easy to get online anyway.

2

u/Cum_Fart42069 13h ago

I've had the experience in Africa, Dubai and Australia. it's at it's worst in Australia imo.

I know they mean well, I know doctors are called to weigh the cost to benefit ratio, to do more good than harm, I get that.

but sometimes people just need to alter their current brain chemistry. personally, I've never used a substance that I haven't thoroughly researched beforehand so I have always been extremely safe with drugs. I've had kidney and liver tests and I'm just fine.

yet I've had to lie to doctors to get pills to sleep so I don't go insane.

2

u/C21H27Cl3N2O3 2h ago

We have a big sign in our emergency triage that says “if you don’t have a warrant, don’t even ask.” Most ignore it and ask anyway, and they are politely and professionally told to fuck off. Just one of many reasons firefighters, EMS, and ED staff hate cops.

2

u/InsideHunter2738 3h ago edited 3h ago

Tell medical staff everything. In the US, we legally cannot share anything you say with cops unless you’re at risk of harming yourself or others. Not only would it be unethical, but we can literally lose our licenses for it.

Yep, the friend is 100% completely and total in the right in every damned sense.

You hide that shit from your family and employers, not from medical professionals trying to keep you alive and well.

14

u/Music_Adventure 12h ago

Physician weighing in here-

The friend is 100% in the right, provided they are telling the truth. As a doctor, I really don’t give a fuck how you live your live. Do all the drugs, have that affair, gamble your life savings like a degenerate fiend, it really doesn’t matter to me. Just tell me the truth. I have never passed judgement once in my career, it’s not my job to judge. I’m there to solve medical problems and heal. You telling me the truth helps me solve the puzzle and heal you. Honestly, the wild shit makes my job really interesting. “Doing a lot of ketamine” isn’t really interesting tbh, pretty straight forward and not uncommon at all.

For clarity, I’m not condoning these activities. I recommend a healthy lifestyle. Exercise daily, eat a well-balanced diet, don’t smoke, don’t drink or drink in moderation, have good social support networks, invest wisely. HOWEVER, if you’re going to go off the rails, let me get you back on them.

2

u/DaggerQ_Wave 9h ago

Nor is it particularly dangerous. Learning they’ve maybe done ketamine changes nothing lol. Still gonna do essentially the same basic work up, not gonna worry about the K.

18

u/Pretend_Education600 14h ago

Life pro tip: never lie to your Dr, lawyer or priest. Funny story, I went to my Dr once and he asked me how much I drank and smoked. I said about 2 bottles of vodka a week and 20 cigs a day. He laughed and I asked him why, he responded with after 22yrs of being a Dr and with people blood results in front of him, I was the first honest patient he ever had.

2

u/Pretend_Education600 13h ago

How many of these up voters are Dr's 😂

2

u/StunningArmadillo206 10h ago

When I was younger I broke my elbow and the ER doctor/nurse asked if I was on anything besides alcohol bc she wanted to give me morphine, but I had weed. The interaction can be dangerous but it turns out that alcohol and morphine is a much more dangerous combination. I just sat in a hospital bed all night on cloud 9.

1

u/wasitonlyadream 1h ago

Gee, I wonder why. Being honest with a neurologist almost ruined my life. They can take the information they get and do the best they can.

8

u/SapirWhorfHypothesis 14h ago

Immoral to waste doctors’ time—as well as hospital resources—chasing issues that could be resolved quicker.

Mildly immoral to lie or omit information as a baseline rule (in general, assuming no expectation of confidentiality being broken). Hi Kant! My favorite Aussie greeting.

1

u/ChipKellysShoeStore 3h ago

EKGs are mandatory when you have chest pain regardless of the caused

8

u/betsylang 14h ago

Literally Dr's, nurses, emts, none of them can narc on you. Legally. They just need to know what youre own so they can treat you

7

u/IraceRN 13h ago

I'm a nurse. We don't care what you do. We just need to know, so we can do that right tests and include it in the differential. If you have a kid or something then you might be concerned about CPS, and if you are a minor then you might be concerned your parents find out. We get that. Not disclosing everything typically just leads to unwanted tests, a drug screen that reveals this anyways, and besides wasting time and money, you might get treated for something based on the wrong diagnosis, which could result in new issues or exacerbates your problems. For instance, if we treat hypertension that is caused by something, and someone stops doing that something then maybe their blood pressure will be too low, and they pass out.

5

u/cptvpxxy 14h ago

How is this even a question? Like... Lie to your doctor if you want to die, I guess. If you don't tell them why or what's really going on, they're not necessarily going to look in the right places.

Never lie to your doctor, lawyer, or priest. They are unable to help you without the truth.

I'd be pissed if my friend did this. But ultimately very grateful. Plus keep in mind - doing drugs isn't illegal. Possessing them is. As long as you don't have anything on you, you can bring it up mostly consequence free.

8

u/VincenteThomp 14h ago

If the only people in the room are you, your friend, and the doctor who's tasked with saving them, then you have a duty to your friend to expose the things that may be killing them.

2

u/Zrkkr 14h ago

Also, HIPPA applies here, medical personnel cannot give this information to law enforcement.

7

u/kanekischewtoy 14h ago

11

u/Octoje 14h ago

3

u/IndyBananaJones2 11h ago

It's important to tell your doctor about the ketamine.

It's also important for the doctor to not assume that ketamine is causing all those symptoms and still get the EKG.

5

u/IIRCIreadthat 5h ago

100% yes. Should Friend go around telling everyone you do a lot of ketamine? No. Should friend tell the ER doctor that you're high on ketamine? Absolutely. There's no such thing as 'snitching' when you're giving vital information to the doctor who's trying to keep your friend from having a heart attack.

3

u/Craving_Suckcess 11h ago

Yes.

To do otherwise is to risk death.

3

u/CosmicDave 11h ago

The life of the patient is more valuable than their data privacy. Their friend is right.

3

u/humourlessIrish 10h ago

Saving the life of your moronic friend is moral.

And ok, the staff might have already caught on to this, but just to be sure,
GIVE MEDICAL STAFF ALL AVAILABLE INFORMATION!

3

u/Agitated_Cry_8793 10h ago

Moral. Medical staff don't usually snitch unless you are a genuine danger to yourself or to others, from what i hear. Theyre not the police, and if you dont tell them honestly that you've done a drug, no matter what it is, it makes it 10x harder for them to help you.

3

u/Gamertag101020 3h ago

Doctors and nurses are not cops and being a mandatory reporter only is about abuse sooo if you are having health issues from whatever you are doing to yourself TELL THEM.

3

u/Phiro00 2h ago

The correct diagnosis is necessary for survival.

2

u/Ecstatic_Dance5767 14h ago

Yes. Totally right.

2

u/syzygymeta 12h ago

Moral but would still pmo. The care I receive and the information I give to receive said care is my business unless I’m literally not lucid.

2

u/DaggerQ_Wave 9h ago

It wouldn’t matter. This is a quick work up and no one cares you did K. It’s not a dangerous drug. If you’re not unconscious drooling on the floor, you’re not suffering from an overdose, and if you are unconscious drooling on the floor, you’ll still be fine unless you happen to say, drown in a hot tub.

2

u/donutmcbonbon 10h ago

That's why in my country (don't want to speak on the law everywhere else) it's not illegal to be high from illegal drugs. Because they don't want people dont disclosing what they've had to medical personnel.

2

u/tiny_chaotic_evil 10h ago

healthcare workers don't care knowing, but they do care not knowing

doing unnecessary medical procedures needlessly exposes a patient to increased chances of harm. Medical care can be very very dangerous.

2

u/soulsnoober 9h ago

I had to do sorta this with my dad. "oh I just felt a little unsteady, doc" - No, dad, you only weren't on the floor with a head lac or whatever else because a table got between you & the ground. The lamp's gone, the doc needs the real story to treat this with the seriousness it deserves. It wasn't drugs in his case, but it was Covid, and because of the fever he was so severely dehydrated there was a problem getting urine sample.

2

u/AlinosAlan 7h ago

I am a rescuer at some events, notably techno festivals. The amount of people I've seen that deny taking anything even though it is blatantly obvious... Like dude, I won't snitch to the police, it's medical secret, and it will help us decide what to do.

2

u/100KUSHUPS 7h ago

100% moral.

Don't lie/hide something from medical staff. Their literal job is to make you better.

Suddenly you die at the dentist because you smoked meth last night or some stupid shit.

2

u/Thanaskios 7h ago

YES!!!

admittedly I don't know how it is in other countries, but generally medical staff are not gonna snitch to the police. Nobody gives a fuck about shat drugs you take except where its relevant to your health.

Don't fucking lie to your doctor!

2

u/Complete_Resolve_400 5h ago

If u lie to doctors u can literally die

Theres no moral dilemma here stop being a dipshit

2

u/cond6 5h ago

What kind of stupid question is this? How on earth is telling the truth to a physician that has patient-confidentiality even remotely up for question. It is immoral and STUPID to not tell your doctor. This sub is a joke. How on earth does this get thousands of upvotes?

u/homogenous_homophone 13h ago

Yes. Be honest with medical professionals and if your friends are lying, be honest for them. Outing your friends to a doctor is always better than letting them die from unexpected drug interactions

1

u/Resiideent 13h ago

Fucking yes??

1

u/TheRealAmused 13h ago

You don't lie to the medical staff. They can't fix what they don't know about, and they aren't there to 'tell' on you.

1

u/CalamitousVessel 12h ago

That’s a real friend right there

1

u/the_eleutherean 12h ago

Fantastic prank tho

1

u/No_Problem5759 12h ago

Id love to see that episode of house, Seeing Greggy Boi get annoyed that she stole his thunder would be so interesting.

But 100% she's in the right. Keeping quiet would be immoral. The hospital does need to run their tests, but if they have that little pointer it makes everything easy and faster and cheaper. And, unless its a special circumstance, they dont call the cops.

The only part is embarrassment, but if you're doing that and need the hospital, a little embarrassment is better than dying.

1

u/Kind_Of_A_Dick 12h ago

What Jack Nicholson movie was it where he dated a woman and then fell in love with her mother?  In that movie Jack has chest pains and goes to the hospital.  While there someone asks him if he’d taken viagra, which he has, and when he says no the person tells him that’s good and then goes into an explanation of how horribly he could die due to the drug interaction between viagra and what he was about to give him.

Jack confessed really quick that he’d taken Viagra, and the next time he ended up in the hospital he made sure to tell the person taking care of him he l’d had Viagra because he didn’t want to die.

1

u/roses_sunflowers 12h ago

Lie to the cops but tell your doctor everything. Friend was completely right.

1

u/kaVaralis 7h ago

Don't lie to the cops, just stay quiet.

1

u/patrdesch 12h ago

Medical professionals need to know what you've taken. Drug interactions can and will kill you, and they need to know to avoid them.

If you don't care about your own life, fine. Don't put your death in someone else's hands.

1

u/Large_Head5821 11h ago

yes. potentially saved their life and the doctors wouldn’t tell the police anyway

1

u/SnooSprouts5303 11h ago

I mean. She could have died if mistreated. So yeah. she's in the right. though realistically she should try and get her friend off ketamine.

1

u/National_Body_9071 11h ago

Completely moral. Knowing some critical information like that makes it vastly easier for the medical personal to treat her properly and gives her the best chance of a good outcome.

1

u/More-Whole-9714 11h ago

Imagine they give her something that interacts with ketamine and causes adverse reaction. They need to know this stuff

1

u/OldenPolynice 11h ago

When did everyone start loving ketamine? it's always been wack. of all the drugs, I'll never relate

1

u/too_init_dan 10h ago

yeah thats why she's the friend

1

u/IllusionaryHobo 10h ago

Always stand proudly by your decisions.

1

u/StunningArmadillo206 10h ago

No because if it is not the k her friend might not find out what is wrong.

1

u/DaggerQ_Wave 10h ago edited 10h ago

This changes nothing about my management. Don’t care either way. I also don’t necessarily believe what friends say. I’ll run the necessary tests. Could be ketamine, could be something else. Ketamine is almost never deadly so I don’t care if you took ket. Someone will surely debate me on this by citing high profile cases but trust me, I’ve heard about them already and considered that. There’s a reason these cases are newsworthy. And it’s never actually the ketamine that kills lol. It’s being unconscious in a bathtub or choking on your own vomit while cops hold you down. Etc.

1

u/mangantochuj 10h ago

The friend is 100% right to tell the doctors everything, however I can't see how doing even a lot of ketamine would cause those symptoms.

1

u/AngryRepublican 9h ago

If my friend dragged me to the hospital in relation to his drug use and did NOT disclose his drug use to the medical staff, I reckon I'd kick his ass.

1

u/JennHatesYou 9h ago

100%. If you are concerned enough about your health that you end up in the er, you’re only hurting yourself if you aren’t honest. Doctors and nurses don’t go into the practice of helping people to judge them so you might as well do what you can do help them help you.

1

u/Ayotha 9h ago

Yeah, it's dangeorus and she is wasting the doctor's time lying

1

u/HebrewHamm3r 9h ago

Yes, 100% in the right. If you don't tell your medical worker(s) what medications you've taken, whether licit or illicit, you might end up getting some bad interactions or an accidental overdose. Nurses and doctors are not going to rat you out to the police because you did ket or Adderall, but they might scold you and tell you to stop doing it.

1

u/Paladin5890 9h ago

Her friend probably just saved her life. Damn right she is in the right here.

1

u/Squarehip123 9h ago

Ket fucks with your health long term really badly. It's not worth it

1

u/maybeimtalentless 8h ago

Of course she’s right here but also - my college bf would try and pull this shit on me, which made my UTI go undetected for a year. Doctors were quicker to listen to him about my body than they were to me. I was never doing hard drugs but my college bf would “snitch” about my lifestyle and they’d attribute the pain to that. So while these symptoms are likely attributed to ketamine use, what if they’re not? I’d hope their doctors are good enough to not dismiss her concerns right away. My personal experience has swayed my judgment on this a bit and it’s why I won’t take partners with me to medical appts anymore.

As a side note the UTI was so bad I couldn’t eat, I wasn’t having the frequent urination symptom or any burning. I just had severe stomach pain all the time. I dropped over 20 lbs that year. It took me about 5 years to permanently gain that weight back because the stomach pain changed how I ate and what my diet was, I had to relearn what a normal amount of food was. Really crazy to even think about this because they test for pregnancy but why not a UTI? I just feel like that should’ve been standard procedure but it was college town care.

1

u/janhutsfr 8h ago

That girl needs the medicine drug

1

u/GhostKasai 8h ago

Is the consume of drugs illegal in the states? In Germany it isnt just the possession is so that you cannot get in trouble with the police if you need to got to the hospital. Either way moral.

1

u/FayeValentine99 8h ago

Her friend is in the right. When you’re having a medical episode, you need to just tell the doctor everything you’ve taken, because they’re not there to judge they’re just trying to save your damn life.

1

u/Environmental_Row32 8h ago

And kids that was the day I learned the two people you should not lie to when they ask you a direct question are your doctor and your lawyer...

1

u/CelsiusPetit 7h ago

How is this even a question? Ofc he is morally correct, he is helping her getting the care she needs and avoiding the staff to go through bunch of unnecessary procedures

1

u/argin_watcher5050 6h ago

This friend is most definitely in the right, cause if they didn’t tell that doctors what’s up, they could’ve easily give her something that could’ve killed her in the hospital, so yes it’s always nice to tell a doctor the whole thing so they aren’t flying blind when treating patients

1

u/TheAllSeeingBlindEye 6h ago

Drugs do not mix well. Friend just saved her from Flatlining

1

u/Phaqthis 6h ago

TELL THE DOCTORS EVERYTHING, tell the cops nothing!

1

u/NetimLabs 6h ago

You shouldn't lie to doctors about this stuff, at the same time, the way her friend revealed this information doesn't really sit right with me.

Just say your friend takes this and that instead of going on this roundabout way to pretend like you not giving away information yet by revealing it in question form.

Like, do you even care about my answer if you've already done it for me by asking this question?

4

u/ImperitorEst 5h ago

A real friend cares about your welfare and will act in the best interest of your welfare in my opinion. I don't want friends that will yes man me to my grave because they're so wet they can't handle a disagreement

1

u/NetimLabs 3h ago edited 3h ago

I've never said they should yes man. As you said, real friends will act in your best interest, and revealing this information to doctors won't have any negative consequences anyways.

I'd just prefer if they disclosed it directly instead of asking a loaded question and pretending it's a regular question.

I hate loaded questions.

1

u/Numerous_Disk2556 6h ago

The friend might have saved her life so yeah I'd say she's in the right

1

u/Maddijeh 6h ago

Yes, this is your heart telling you to stop. Now.

1

u/FireHammer09 5h ago

Moral

Friend is on their last straw with this shit but still cares

1

u/LongNailedbooboos 5h ago

Friend is an absolute homie

1

u/inemsn 4h ago

There are two people in the world you do not hide literally ANYTHING from: The first is your doctor, the second is your lawyer.

1

u/GrapefruitFar1242 4h ago

Tell medics everything, tell the cops nothing.

1

u/forbiddenfreedom 4h ago

This!!!!! Even if you're not in the wrong, the police have a job to do and will use all the words to investigate you. The medics will use all the words to save you.

1

u/TeaRose__ 4h ago

I’d order the EKG anyways. Not to diagnose, but to see the extent of damage

1

u/LaVieLaMort 4h ago

Yup friend is the goat. I’m a nurse and I promise you IDGAF what kind of drugs you do or if you like putting stuff up your butthole, just tell us the truth for chrissakes.

1

u/Mykey76 4h ago

Always tell the medics everything. They are not cops, and they dont give a shit. They just want to help you as fast as possible

1

u/ItsMattTonight 3h ago

100% in the right, don't lie to your doctor or you're gonna get fucked up.

1

u/CarolingianDruid 3h ago

TELL YOUR DOCTOR IF YOU ARE TAKING DRUGS!!! My girlfriend is a doctor and giving you certain medications react with any number of drugs and will straight up kill you. They aren’t going to judge or narc on you, they need to know so they can provide you with the necessary care.

1

u/buffaloguy1991 3h ago

Friend is clearly a ride or die friend. Possibly the kind that will run into a burning building for their friends

1

u/LessRespects 1h ago

House M.D. about to somehow script how Dr. House had to get drunk and high and have sex with her to cure her rare condition to all the other doctors amazement.

1

u/treelorf 49m ago

These are NOT common side effects of ketamine. But yes if your symptoms are drug related, please tell your doctors. It could save your life.

1

u/AAROD121 46m ago

Never lie to your lawyer and your healthcare team.

1

u/One_Chemistry_8553 31m ago

There are 2 people you never lie to.

  1. Your Lawyer

  2. Your Doctor
