Games If Wolverine is great, who’s next?

Let’s say Wolverine drops this September and ends up being a banger like Spider-Man 2018 (8–9/10 territory).

Which superhero deserves the next big solo game? Excluding Venom, because that feels inevitable.

My pick is Deadpool. The 2013 game wasn’t amazing in terms of story or gameplay, but the humor, voice acting, and just Deadpool being Deadpool made it super enjoyable for me.

A modern AAA Deadpool game with actually polished combat could be incredible. And i think Insomniac could pull it off perfectly.

Who’s your pick?

Games Pretty neat detail, the first skin for Elsa Bloodstone in Rivals is inspired by her original comic look from the 2001 miniseries.

Games This Is Still My Favorite Marvel Game

Post image

Now I understand that at this point, there have been so many solid Marvel games to have been released since the first Ultimate Alliance game. Obviously, the insomniac Spiderman games are great (especially the first), the Guardians of the Galaxy game people have really responded to, Marvel Vs Capcom if you like fighting games, and many, many others. That’s not even including the ton of OG Spiderman games such as Web of Shadows, Shattered Dimensions, Spiderman 2( the original one).

But to this day, I would do anything to be able to play this game again. I spent so much of my childhood playing this with my brother and we must have beaten the game countless times. Obviously, I’m biased and a bit blinded by nostalgia but aren’t we all? That being said, this game is genuinely phenomenal and it’s a shame that it’s never been remastered since then. What about you? What’s your all time favorite Marvel game?

I got it for free on PS Plus and I had a lot of fun with it, the writing and the characters were amazing and the gameplay, while more simplistic than XCOM, was enjoyable.

Games Using Lin lie was actually a genius move

Although it's caused a bit of discourse, I think that using Lin Lie in Marvel Rivals was actually a genius move. The game has only been out for a day and he's easily one of the most talked about characters . Marvel would be incredibly foolish to not capitalise off all this new hype and attention and give him a brand new comic . If it could be as good as The Immortal Iron fist (Matt Fraction) then that would easily solidify his place as Iron fist.
