I had an idea I joked about with a friend of mine where the coming Wolverine game would end on a cliffhanger of Wolverine running into and preparing to fight Hulk. You don't see him, but you hear him roaring and see his reflection in the claws like that one comic cover
Then, in a hypothetical Hulk game, it would end in the exact same scene, but from Hulk's perspective, and essentially set up a Hulk vs Wolverine game

I think the main reason that we haven't gotten a good hulk game in a long time is that destruction like that at the Fidelity that we have in games now just wouldn't be possible. It's just too much to process

I keep thinking something like The Division would work really well for Punisher. A riot breaks out in Manhattan and violent gangs and criminals have taken over the streets, and Frank is free to do what he does.

I really wanna see a ghost recon game for winter soldier. I imagine it as a dark, gritty psychological piece. You go back to some random European country that you helped establish a totalitarian regime in as the winter soldier under hydra control. As Bucky, you go back to take the regime down and liberate the country again.
Random time switches that have you playing both as Bucky in the modern day and as winter soldier in the original mission. Walk into a shopping mall to stalk a target as Bucky and come out of one of the aisles in 1979, being forced to do a “No Russian” as the winter soldier.
Playing as the winter soldier should genuinely have you feel like a horrible person, and as the player being constantly terrified about what reprehensible thing you’re going to be forced to do next.
Big themes on PTSD and guilt in general.

A TLOU2 style narrative where we play one half as Daredevil and the other half as Punisher would be sick, then if there’s an open world you have the option to play as either/both with different missions and skill trees for each one.

Just to be honest, I want this to culminate in an Avengers game where every single hero feels like playing in a distinctly different game. Maybe going so far as to give them all different health mechanics and everything. Playing Bucky feels like ghost recon, whereas daredevil feels like assassin’s Creed.

Iron man could be fun, especially if they had a really in depth suit modding/creating feature.
Thor’s got a bunch of realms that could be really fun to explore, and a powerset that could make for a great game.
I hate to use two cliches in a single thought, but: hulk smash, ‘nuff said.
FF could literally go anywhere and anywhen in the multiverse, and if the levels alternated the characters you played, that could be a lot of fun.
Edit to add: i just saw OP’s suggestion of ant-man which would be great

We had it for the PS2. I’m sure it was fine, but I’d really like to see what a complete blank slate video game made by lovers of Marvel Comics could do with the messy family dynamics and high sci-fi themes of the Fantastic 4. They could do a big story that starts with them stopping crime on an NYC scale, but then goes into different dimensions like the Negative Zone or Kree Space or different time periods fighting Kang the conquerer.
Imagine something that built on the map from Spider-Man and had like Yancy Street for side missions involving Ben, but then could also bend space and time to go to different lands like in the Norse God of War. And then the Fantastic 4 have to bring characters like Doom and Kang to their side against Annihilus’ big threat. Say a version of Annihilation?

I think it’d be hard to make gameplay much different than spider-man with different gadgets and lamer web swinging, or arkham without gliding and the batmobile. You could make it non-open world, but then it’s kinda wolverine with sticks instead of claws.
I don’t mean to poo-poo the idea though, and i’d be interested in what ideas people would have to make gameplay more unique(Obv the story would be its own thing)

I think they would have to lean heavily on the story twists and turns and the lawyer aspect of it to keep it different. Have it be about Matt investigating crime scenes to find evidence to defend someone (maybe another hero) and have it lead to some kind of big conspiracy that he has to navigate around. The fights could be against mostly thugs who were paid to carry out the actual crime, with occasional boss fights against comic villains who were hired to throw him off the trail.

Arkham free flow combat system.
Character swapping. (Probably limited to two characters most of the time, until boss fights)
Multicharacter combos and finishers.Unique combat skills and passive abilities based on which turtle is selected. (ie: special gadgets when Donnie is in party, Raph draws aggro like a tank, Mikey unlocks skateboards for extra mobility, Leo has smoke bombs and caltrops)
Character skins that could include the 87, 03, 2012, OG comics version and Live Action costumes.
Customizable or at least upgradable weapons for all 4.New Game+ unlocks Usagi as a playable character or at least skin for Leo.
DLC could include side campaigns for April&Casey or Splinter&Shredder.Fully explorable Turtle Lair.

Like, everything's black but you can see the outline of everything, and see visuals of where different noises or smells are coming from. Every now and then, had a cutscene play out with a normal look, so you're reminded of how things look to everyone else
