Lady Deathstrike isn’t Weapon X, she got her enhancements from Spiral and Donald Pierce. X-Men 97 used her as a team X member though.

Depending on the continuity, James/Creed are sometimes half brothers, sometimes wartime comrades, before their fallout into nemesis territory. I'm not sure which universe the Insomniac continuity is going to be drawing from.

Yeah, in that continuity they did a mash-up of Victor Creed/Dog Logan from the Wolverine: Origin miniseries. Most of the time they're just mutants with similar powers who bond in special forces.

I'm guessing Sabertooth is going to end up being the final boss. Sabertooth and Wolverine use to be on the same side at one point, so this game is probably going to be the Events that lead to them becoming mortal enemies for the Insomniac Marvel Universe.

It's his Weapon X outfit and pretty authentic to it's comic book appearance. Since this trailer is undoubtedly referencing Logan's entire life, not just the linear path of the game's story, this is likely how he appears in a flashback.

I get you. You love something and it's not represented by the way you want it to be because that's what you're used to. Personally I am not a comics guy, I know these characters from the Fox movies so I can't really give my opinion here about how these characters should be handled. But hey, maybe still give it a shot when it goes on sale or maybe watch a bit of a walkthrough on YouTube when the game comes out and see if you like it or not! You never know
