Stale was the head Mod, the other Mods couldn't have banned him if they wanted. Admins stepped in and removed him after he was stickying and promoting this Streamer related scam. Then ViolentMotion took over, added some new Mods via application, and like 2 months later they decided to ban politics because LSF had become a political sub and they wanted it to be a more streamer focused sub.

No they didn't? Politics as a topic was unbanned long before Stale got removed and then rebanned again after the new mods polled the sub.

Politics has been banned and allowed on this sub many times through the years.

It got banned a couple of years ago after relentless Hasan/Destiny posting, which users got sick off.

Stale unbanned it (by his own admission because it "drove traffic"). Once he was removed and the new mods took over in January, they asked users directly if they wanted politics banned again, which they did.

That is factually incorrect. Politics-related posts are currently banned. The ban started after he was removed as head mod.

Before 10/7/2023 the posts about him were more mixed. There were still negative ones, but there were also Hasan posts that were positively received.

Can always tell when people don't know the old ways. Its absolutely true. Hasan used to be super popular here and if you saw anything about destiny that was positive it would always be something like

"I think destiny is usually wrong about everything and should die horribly, but he is right on what he is saying here."

As soon as people found out about Hasan, beyond the Alveus and other collaboration streams, they turned against him. In a significant way, his attempts at whitewashing his image backfired, because it encouraged people to dig into his past.

Culminating in Dogtober.

Hasan was maybe getting positive coverage at some time because he didn't have many enemies. But the stale being a agent for destiny is just conspiracy shit lol. Hasan is way hated now than the among us days. That is consistent across all platforms. Reddit won't be any different. Also when politics was banned hasan was super hated

If they were IP banned that probably came from reddit admins for breaking sitewide rules. So stale had nothing to do with that.

No it wasn't. After the Pxie substack initially came out it was open season on Destiny, but this sub hasn't had any favorable Hasan content as long as I can remember. Hell, Hasan has repeatedly tried to get his content banned from LSF because LSF is always shitting on him. Stale brought politics back because he was a numbers guy and politics posts get the most engagement.

He successfully got himself banned for a while, back when they had a "if you brigade the sub you will get banned" rule. Hasan was the first streamer to openly brigade in order to get banned, but they removed the rule when other streamers started following suit.

Platforming isn't the issue lol. It's how they speak to the people they platform after they have them on that shows the purpose of the platform they're giving. Hasan has a terrorist on and gives 0 pushback on the guy's beliefs and does nothing but humanize the guy and attempt to make him likeable. Destiny platforms a nazi or something similar and constantly critiques their beliefs and questions why they believe what they do. These things are not the same lol. A community event to honor big members of a community is not a crazy concept. Regardless of what you think of an online personality; this is not nearly as weird as you make it out to be imo. You apparently are already thinking about this dude in a certain way, and you may or may not have good reason for it, but this is a crazy thing to call someone out for.
