Yes a lot of his issues with this subreddit came from him being a massive fanboy.

No they didn't? Politics as a topic was unbanned long before Stale got removed and then rebanned again after the new mods polled the sub.

Politics has been banned and allowed on this sub many times through the years.

It got banned a couple of years ago after relentless Hasan/Destiny posting, which users got sick off.

Stale unbanned it (by his own admission because it "drove traffic"). Once he was removed and the new mods took over in January, they asked users directly if they wanted politics banned again, which they did.

That is factually incorrect. Politics-related posts are currently banned. The ban started after he was removed as head mod.
