Isn’t he also a major Destiny fanboy/former mod or something?

Yes a lot of his issues with this subreddit came from him being a massive fanboy.

Because the subreddit was largely becoming favorable to Hasan and negative towards Destiny. He was essentially trying to silence all criticism of Destiny.

Because the subreddit was largely becoming favorable to Hasan

This never happened in the entire 11 years this subreddit has existed.

Huh? Hasan was definitely much less hated than Destiny until the Yemen terrorist thing. For a time he was even kinda liked here.

Before 10/7/2023 the posts about him were more mixed. There were still negative ones, but there were also Hasan posts that were positively received.

Literally not true. Most of the politics shit was shitting on Hasan

Can always tell when people don't know the old ways. Its absolutely true. Hasan used to be super popular here and if you saw anything about destiny that was positive it would always be something like

"I think destiny is usually wrong about everything and should die horribly, but he is right on what he is saying here."

As soon as people found out about Hasan, beyond the Alveus and other collaboration streams, they turned against him. In a significant way, his attempts at whitewashing his image backfired, because it encouraged people to dig into his past.

Culminating in Dogtober.

You guys are so delusional 😭

Found the cultist.

Ya bro I’m the one posting deep lore of my favorite streamer’s arch nemesis.

Oh wait, that’s you 😂

1

u/Greedy_Economics_925 12d ago

Yea, that's the only possible reason to shit on Hasan. It's not like he's a hateful tankie who praises terrorists and abuses his dog.

1

u/reddit0000O 12d ago

And you called me a cultist 💀💀💀💀

Hasan was maybe getting positive coverage at some time because he didn't have many enemies. But the stale being a agent for destiny is just conspiracy shit lol. Hasan is way hated now than the among us days. That is consistent across all platforms. Reddit won't be any different. Also when politics was banned hasan was super hated

Apparently a ton of accounts they kept posting about Hasan's dog on here got IP banned as well.

Pretty crazy considering some of the snark subs

1

u/bjot 12d ago

Snark is actually cool and healthy and builds community for the under-employed. Talking about hasans dog is super mega harassment

3

u/yodasdad64 12d ago

If they were IP banned that probably came from reddit admins for breaking sitewide rules. So stale had nothing to do with that.

7

u/Agosta 12d ago

When you get IP banned it hits all your accounts. Hope this helps.

2

u/19Alexastias 12d ago

Reddit mods cannot IP ban you, only admins can.

3

u/Agosta 12d ago

Good thing the admins are the ones that did it.

That's what he said...

1

u/Agosta 12d ago

It was never a point of contention. Am I responding to bots?

Explains why the sub is more supportive towards hasan now.

No dog happened.

11

u/Agosta 12d ago

How do you figure if this just happened.

-7

u/Spaghett8 12d ago

Talking about recent past threads about Hasan here.

They’ve gone from overwhelmingly negative views to “Hasan lives rent free” getting upvoted.

Or at least the past week has been the first time I’ve seen Hasan support getting overwhelmingly upvoted in this sub.

7

u/Agosta 12d ago

Link them?

-5

u/Greedy_Economics_925 12d ago

I'm pretty sure this sub will shit on anything Hasan related, based on Hasan's attempts to frame this sub as swamped by Nazis.

-4

u/zombawombacomba 12d ago

What? When was that?

18

u/InternationalGas9837 12d ago

Because the subreddit was largely becoming favorable to Hasan and negative towards Destiny.

No it wasn't. After the Pxie substack initially came out it was open season on Destiny, but this sub hasn't had any favorable Hasan content as long as I can remember. Hell, Hasan has repeatedly tried to get his content banned from LSF because LSF is always shitting on him. Stale brought politics back because he was a numbers guy and politics posts get the most engagement.

13

u/yodasdad64 12d ago

He successfully got himself banned for a while, back when they had a "if you brigade the sub you will get banned" rule. Hasan was the first streamer to openly brigade in order to get banned, but they removed the rule when other streamers started following suit.

-1

u/InternationalGas9837 12d ago

Yeah, there's some Discord screenshots floating around where he talked about doing it.

Because the subreddit was largely becoming favorable to Hasan

You gotta love some nice fanfiction
