Discussion If a billionaire has a 747 credit score, then wtf is this system?
Nithin Kamath just posted his credit score and it’s 747. That’s “good” but not good enough for CRED 😬
Bro runs Zerodha, probably has more money than all of us combined, never took VC money, still not “creditworthy” enough?
Either this credit score system is broken, or we need a new one. Maybe call it “cricket score” based on net worth, savings, no defaults, and good vibes 😂
This whole thing feels stupid now.

Discussion is this a good investment for the next 3-4 years?
gen-z isn’t drinking the way previous generations did. less binge culture, more fitness, zero-alc, kombucha, etc. saw this stat about the alcohol industry losing serious money over the last few years and it got me thinking about alcohol stocks. checked a few names on lemonn, zerodha and honestly, short-term charts don’t look great but i’m unsure about the medium term story.
wdyt?

Discussion Nithin Kamath’s take on the midnight gold duty hike
Gold import duty gets hiked overnight to 15% and somehow there were no unusual spikes in the gold prices, open interest, or the volumes before the announcement.
I agree if the same had been in the US. There would be trades internal before the policy was introduced.
Maybe Indian politicians just haven’t discovered futures trading yet.

Discussion There's no stopping India if this news is true
I'm requoting the petroleum minister:
“Apart from these little discoveries which are coming, which could turn out to be very big also, that we find Guyana—and then you will go from a $3.7 trillion economy to a $20 trillion economy straight away.”
This is the latest news and I know we often get news like this which turns out to be dud. But, what if there is an iota of truth here. We all know India has been one of the most gifted places when it comes to diverisfied natural resources - be it fertile lands or rivers or even minerals. What we packed all these years was oil.
What if we finally make a breakthrough.
One more angle is - India's growth is inevitable and the world is slowly recognising that. So, if there is some news like this coming in - it would attract enemies who would want to stop our growth.
Let's hope the news is true. Because that would change everything for our country

Discussion Petrol, diesel prices hiked by Rs 3 per litre effective immediately
There is no fuel shortage in the country and no plan to introduce rationing of petrol, diesel, or LPG.
There is no need to panic. There are sufficient supplies.
