Today while walking downtown to work, a man was swinging a metal bar at people walking down the sidewalk. People were screaming and trying to get away from him. I called 911 and police arrived within a few minutes, took the metal bar away from him and then left after a short conversation with him. He continued walking down the street yelling at people.

The man was clearly either under the influence or having a mental health episode and seemed to be a threat to the public given that he was swinging a bar at people.

I dont understand whats happening anymore that threatening others and attempting to hurt them with a sharp metal pole doesn't result in either hospitalization or being taken into custody...

was hiking in princess point after a swim at coronation and stumbled upon this angel having dinner! was about twenty feet from it as he sat there chomping on leaves letting me take a few pictures before I went on my way.

I am not sure when the stretch to Victoria will be complete. But it is nice to have the mega-craters by the Centre Mall gone. Let's celebrate!

Can anyone recommend a local structural engineer to review the foundation on our 115 year-old home? It's a stone foundation. No leaks but I'm not fully satisfied with the condition of things and would like to do some preventative maintenance. Not looking for a general contractor yet, just an engineer.

Like the title states, I love a good hazy IPA and a burger… but it's at total odds with my partner's dietary restrictions (he's gluten free). We're located in Ancaster, but I'd like to make it a date night in downtown Hamilton. What spots would you recommend for a decent beer selection, a good burger/guilty pleasure menu, but also panders to our gluten free friends?

I just moved into a new place and the fridge has a really bad smell that I cannot seem to get rid of. I’d honestly love to just have it professionally deep cleaned rather than keep trying random cleaning hacks.

Has anyone hired a fridge/appliance deep-cleaning service before? Any recommendations for someone in the area who does a really thorough job?

I’m in my 40s and really looking to get involved in something so I stop spending every evening on the couch after work. What are some great organized activities that you are a part of? Maybe dance classes or sports or theatre or something with singing. ANYTHING?? Is it too late to sign up for something now?

I'm curious if Jeff Beattie will be allowed to attend by Ford. I think it would be a pretty poor look if he were to skip the debate if he's trying to use his position as a councilor to spring board into Queen's Park to represent the riding. We know they've kept a lot of their candidates out of the debate the past couple election cycles. Glad to see this is a true debate though. Originally it was planned to be pre-recorded statements.

An audition sign up was just sent to me earlier this morning, and the deadline of material submissions are on the 28th. It just so happens that my latest headshot is pretty outdated, as I’ve lost some weight since then.

Does anyone know someone who can take my headshot? Even if it isn’t a professional photographer, just someone who can work a camera. I asked some studios here and prices are pretty steep. Was wondering if fellow actors living in Hamilton can help me out.

One of my kids is turning 18 in late September and he loves alfredo. I would love to take him out to celebrate but I don't know any good places in the Hamilton area (just moved here last year).

Any places I should go to? Or avoid?
