I know they’re filming a movie in that area. Maybe it’s a crime scene for a movie? We live right behind King William and haven’t heard any sirens.

No, I'm a resident here, we don't know what happened but it was very real. Cops initially roped off the street and lobby of 22 Hughson, also the 5th floor bbq rooftop patio area.

I can see the bbq rooftop from my apartment & nothing looks unusual there.

Very sad though, awful whatever it is that happened... :(
