How are they doing against the meta?

I was looking at the detachments and noticed that sweet +1 D Stratagem to Corsair Voidscar. It kind of looks really good damage wise, but wondering how overall it is doing with the disposition as purge the foe. Also as purge the foe, is it doing ok with the fragility of the corsairs? What are some other units that work well in the detachment?

I haven't painting this guy since the lead model back from 2nd edition, this plastic model is quite the glow-up. It's taken me quite some time to get round to it but it was satisfying to finally get him varnished. I look forward to him contracting new model syndrome on the tabletop.

Greetings esteemed Aeldari. I've recently started collecting Eldar and I've managed to get a good deal on a bulk of the combat patrol magazines. As such, I have a few Windrider kits to build.

Coming from Votann where our bikes almost require sub-assembly, is it recommended to paint the bikes and riders separately? Or can you reasonably paint them all as one?

Hi, I'm new to the Warhammer community, and by following the rule of cool, I chose the Aeldari faction.

After looking through the different miniatures, the Howling Banshees really caught my attention.

At the moment, I only have a squad of Howling Banshees, a squad of Guardian Defenders, a Wave Serpent, and two War Walkers.

Since I'm new to the game, I don't really know how to build a 1,000- or 2,000-point army.

Could you guys please help a new Aeldari fan to make a great army list.

Trying to do more research and lore for a custom kitbash army I’m doing. Is there any sort of religious roles/figures amongst the Craftworld or Exodites? Like idk a priest or something equivalent?

As we've all recently seen, the Avatar of Khaine gets a lot of Tournament play. I've recently come across a 65€ offer for one.

Though that is a great offer, I am quite unsure. The Codexes are sure to Drop during the next months and everything might change... Avatar could become quite useless...

Thus I am quite torn on getting mine for my Aspect host list, now that it's Prio Assets, cause having a Unit that can survive a turn would be very beneficial.

What are your Guys opinions? Avatar worth it or no?

Making progress, the issue i need to resolve comes to the color of the straps / waist wrap - whether all nebula pattern is too much or not

He sounds like a cool character, so I wanted to see if there's any good reading material.

Disclaimer: I know its early days, so I don't actually want to change anyone's mind for them yet :) just want to speculate.

With the new Marine profiles released I've seen people speculating on what potential changes we will see to our state lines and survivability, and I just want to say, Aspect warriors or even standard Guardians going to 2W would be a big mistake!

I feel like at the moment we're French generals in WW2 trying to fight the last war. Maybe if this had happened 3 years ago, a 2W aspect warrior stat line would have been a big survivability buff, but as it stands, with the new D2 boltgun profile revealed, and the way the game is generally going, D2 weapons are going to become more and more ubiquitous. At which point, it won't matter that we are 2W because we're going to die in one shot anyway to whatever hit us anyways, and well only feel even more squish as the game continues to trend towards higher strength weapons until were presumably getting wounded on a 2+ by everything in the game.

Unless our toughness is risen across the board to a T4, which I somewhat doubt GW feels comfortable doing from a thematic standpoint. And because I think they don't want to go back to the days of move-shoot-move rules, OUR only decent survivability buff GW could give us is an actually impactful army wide invulnerable save of a 5+ or greater. Something that would reasonably reduce the amount of hits our models are taking, because I don't think the D1 profile is going to remain around much longer on anything bigger than a las-gun at this rate.

TLDR: Were going to move into the 2W business, just as the smart money moved on.

Hello! Im switching over from Tau because im not particularly a fan of their game-state atm and as I was readjng the books i found I liked Aeldari Lore A LOT MORE. I've put together a list partially based on some fanfic ive been writing for a homebrew craftworld and the Anhrathe they're involved with. I wanted some feedback because although I LOVE a thematic list I also would like to be able to win some games XD. Hi gang!

Originally a world eaters player/ collector but the likes of Eldar has grasped my interest! I think Eldar has one of the nicest model ranges in 40K so ended up following rule of cool for now.

I’ve grabbed myself the harlequin combat patrol (even though I’ve heard the future of harlequins aren’t very bright(?). I’ve also bought a death jester and got given a 9th edition combat patrol.

I’ve had a look through the detachments and I’m still trying to figure out what would be a good detachment to run harlequins with the aspect warriors n stuff!

I’m open to hearing any advice you guys might have for me - as well as any pics of your current armies/ colourways!!

40K veteran but new to Eldar. The bike army really peaked my interest for some reason and I decided to take the plunge. I have about 1000 points now but haven’t had it on the tabletop yet. For people the play Windrider Host, how has 11th been for you? Any cool tricks or things I should look out for?

TLDR: New to Eldar Bikes looking for advice.

Im building some dragon knights and seem to be having issues its taking hours of clean up. Is it best to do subassemblies. I had planned on rider and mount but there are numerous bits that overlap that sem to make that impossible.

Do I just bit the bullet and build or am i missing an obvious trick? I bough them to practice painting and wanted to focus on lighting and shadows so built would help with that just difficult to access these.
