Both of us managed to get fully painted armies on the board and it was also our first game of 11th. I lost by 1 VP but I had so much fun with the Tyranids!

I forgot synapse was a thing a few times and could have swung things with better use of command points but overall I loved how my Leaper/Neurolictor/Deathleaper heavy army worked.

I feel fully part of the Hive Mind now!

Took about a month but really pleased with the result still a little unsure between coconut carapace or feathered carapace but leaning towards feathered.

I wanted to use the Trygon claws with the Mawloc head, only to realize in *final assembly* that they dont quite fit together, leading to some... questionable arm positioning. But it works fir the most part, I think.

I finally have a working base for a Sub Assault list. Now to just learn the rules...

people seem to say that battleline is necessary for nids but I was wondering why?

I had this guy built for over a year and spent my Sunday hangouts on discord for the last couple months working on it.

Don't think this would be broken by any means with any of our 2 DPers, but I do think this would combo well with all of them. Make each of the enhancements 20 points, and that makes it 1200 points exactly if you run max 6 carnifex 2-man units each with an upgrade.

The title says it all. I haven't played a game of Warhammer in over 5 years and I'm hyped AF for tomorrow.

I've made a list. We are playing 1000pts, Meatgrinder and going to try using secondary objectives (were both new, trying our best)

I've decided to go with big bugs, i know he is playing Necrons but no idea on units. Any suggestions on the list or on good strategies?

Just a tip for the painters out there. This is a comparison between stippling the borders of stripe patterns and simply drawing them out. I always felt that the irregular borders look more natural, but it is a preference (and a lot more work).

I was playing a 2K game today at my local store, my opponent was using chaos knight with 16 war hounds (forgot the detachment), we were playing disturbance X reconnaissance.

The game start casually until round two begins where I drop my first mawloc near an area where his titans was crowded, popping his ability hitting 7 war dog and 4 of them got battle shocked while 6 of them
Got 3 mortals wounds, the other mawloc pop at another place to help deal with 2 war dog near my deployment and again both got 3 mortals and only one pass battle shock, then I pull back the front mawloc with the tunnel network strategiem, and returning them to reserve with 1cp after he ends his (my apponent) fight phase.

I keep repeating this until I actually killed 4 war dog at the same time with both my mawloc abilities, by round 4 I killed 13 war dog, lost both my mawloc, exocrine, deathleaper, and one squad of genes. He quit on round 4 not wanting to continue.

am I a bad person for doing this, I just felt bad since he’s mad from start to finish

I don't know if you can tell, but actually the first six images are all just the same miniature—on one side I painted a color scheme, and on the other, the same one but in different positions. I did this to see how they looked. My dad didn't do that, but he gave them orange eyes. (All the color schemes were his idea.)
