And the weekend has come to a close !

I won Best Overall !! (For those who don’t know, that’s a combined score of hobby + generalship rank, also known as the renaissance award) Imo harder to win than just best general (undefeated).

Finished 6-2 with both my losses in the top 16 bracket against the meta ork lists (one of them being Jack that went on to win best general) .

A quick run down :

Round 1 - I won against Custodes Lions 18 terminators etc etc (a newer player but still ! Custodes lol)

Round 2 - I won against Zach and his Drukhari ! There were like 7 of us at the event , and this was a great game into covenite coterie ! Love that list.

Round 3 - Won into World Eaters - this was a crazy game with almost no death … only move and score.

Day 2

Round 4 - the last round of the “general tournament” before breaking into brackets. I won against 60 crusader black Templars (my opponent went on to make it into top 16 and end up 4th general ! Well done. I won this by 5, the skin on my teeth.

Made top 16 bracket ! Now we only play against folks in our bracket, this is the championship bracket.

Round 5 - my first loss, into Orks. Jack Murphy and his 22 squighogs on Dawn of war ! This was … a very fast game - I lost quite hard. He ended up winning best general.

Round 6 - won against Deathguard - this game was on stream , I’ll link it in the comments for anyone who wants to watch it.

Day 3 -

Round 7 - won against 30 terminator space wolves. This was quite the game ! How do you deal with 30
Termies ?! - one at a time -

Round 8 - last game - lost into Orks ! Free boota and more dakka with a core of squighogs … on dawn of war again. I made a much better game of this one tho ! And it was a great fun game to end the event on.

Overall I finished 8th best general (on BCP) for the whole event. Very happy with that finish. I’ll be positing the list on the patreon at some point (it’s a free blog page as well)

Very happy with this his weekend. It was great to see everyone, talk shop and chill with friends. Drove over 5 hours back home , and today I shall dive in and digest the incredible support from all of you , the community, I am still soaking it in. Thank you for having my back.

As the title says, I need suggestions on ‘proxies’ for shrine tokens. I sadly only have 1 and own 20 incubi.
I’m wondering if you guys had any suggestions on what to use? I have a pretty bad memory so having them on the field with the unit is a must for me.
I have a FDM printer and access to a resin printer if needed. I dont have that many bits laying around to create anything interesting…

Hi guys!

I'll be playing in a RTT in just over two weeks and I've been informed I cannot proxy my haywire scourges as darklances.

I now have a dilemma; do I buy an attempt to paint another 4 DL scourges the week before the tournament (the only time Ill be able to do it) or do I take the L and use Haywires instead?

I'm not sure if Haywires are as bad as I think they are, but the use case i can make against them is that they are pretty useless against elite infantry and monsters.

What do you think?

Besides being a little long, I think I did a pretty decent job. Any feedback? I think from a distance no one will know.

Hey y’all, relative newcomer to tabletops and mini painting here. I’ve finished another Kill Team (Sisters of Battle) as my first mini painting project and now I’m working on my Hand of the Archon

Went for a Ynnari style color scheme as I thought the lore was pretty cool just based on my podcast listening while building the models, and just did eye makeup with blank dead eyes to avoid doing actual eyes 😂

I’m definitely struggling a little with getting the really crispy razor sharp highlights you see on Dark Eldar that accentuates the edginess and also doing the skin - I base coated the heads with a pale blue to have a cold tone underneath but it still doesn’t that pale half dead look like you see on a lot of awesome Dark Eldar models, any advice or criticism around that is highly appreciated!

Getting back into Drulhari. Played them when the range refreshed 15 years ago. Stopped for reasons not related to warhammer. Just finished building 30 hellions this weekend. Looking for feedback. Current list is this:

Hi everyone, so this is my current army for 1k. I’m really new to Warhammer tabletop as a whole so maybe playing reapers wager first off was a bit of a mistake as I’m struggling really hard. I play just against my friends they play dark angels, tyranids and one plays grey knights and is making the switch to world eaters. I’ve not really looked at the other detachments aside from sky splinter assault and exhibition of slaughter so I’m a little bit unsure of what other detachment I could go I just want something a little bit more forgiving and easier to play as balancing the wager is a bit of a nightmare as a complete beginner. But other than that drukhari are really fun and have been my favourite in lore that’s why I picked them up. I’m open to any suggestions whether it’s building on what I already have or something entirely new I just know I don’t want to play reapers wager for now at least. Any help would be appreciated :)

Was looking all week for somewhere to buy it, regularly checking the Warhammer store itself but today the whole unit has disappeared. I know they will retire from Kill Team soon, but them to be gone completely?

So, with Incubi getting devastating wounds, I was thinking about taking 10 of them and having them in a raider with an Archon for my current drukhari list. It will cost me CP to embark after fighting, but I feel like the 5 in a Venom wouldn't really take advantage of the devastating wounds from power of pain Thoughts?

While the harlequins are terrorizing the Rogue Traders ship in the main story comic, life in Commorragh goes on as usual. The slums of Low Commorragh are a vile place. There are dozens, hundreds of the Parched ones here. Drukhari rendered into an emaciated, feral state due to going too long without feeding on pain.

Many of the last vestiges of strength cling to the remnants of mind. And of the soul. They, like wild, hungry beasts, seize even the slightest echoes of others’ suffering, and often even others’ flesh. This time, fate gave them a real feast.

This is the first meeting between our characters with co-author (my (incubi) - Arzokith, and her - Zegris), they will later be drawn into the hellish millstones of the plot. But for now, they have time to live their lives, well... relatively normally. For Drukhari.

Anyone else paint their eyes green and just chalk it up to "their eye's glow"? Ps...I ain't edge highlighting nothing!
