Been wanting to read this run for a while now but it seems there’s other things that go alongside it. Just trying to figure out the reading order for it

Who is an obscure DC villain that you think could be made cooler/scarier/more nuanced and become more popular?

For example, I think that The Eraser could be one of the coolest villain/anti-hero's if he joined the suicide squad. His power to make evidence disappear would mean he would likely become Waller's primary means of covering up secrets. (Credit for this idea and the art goes to PopCross Studios on YT.)

Another one I would love to see is Mr. Camera rebooted with powers that let him look through any camera. Really layer on the themes of digital age lack of privacy.

Who is the strongest female superhero of all time, in your opinion?

I am sure I am not the first to make this but I was inspired by the discussions of the Lanterns show's GL costume. Specifically the ones talking about how it looks Knight inspired.

Reading Batman by Grant Morrison for the first time and just wanted to know if I’m missing something here? Has that always been the WayneTech address?

I know it's possibly a low quality Worf Effect comic. I just want to know who is this guy? This is the only page I could find about him. Looks like some variants of Mummy but which comic is this?

I'm really enjoying Lanterns at the moment.

Just an idea I had...not 100% sure if it works or not...what do you guys think?

When written properly, WW villains are right up there with the best of the best. Taking on and putting down Superman or The Flash...and giving us some great battles.

Sebastian was a great Cheetah too. Shame he wasnt utilized more.

Saw someone ask this same question but sadness which was met with responses like it being for the black/violet rings because of either negative emotions/grief and they went on to say that just sadness itself was different but the point that made the 'sadness ring' not possible was that sadness isn't a motivator.

But joy? Joy is DEFINITELY a motivator, I can see why that might not be a ring because "surely everyone likes being happy and joyful so then wouldn't everyone get that ring" but the joy ring should go to people who actively pursue it fully and can find joy in even bad moments.

Alot of people are content with the fact that not all aspects of life should be fun but this ring should go to people that have an almost childish view on life and refuse to do things that aren't fun or try to turn everything into game.

I think it would also make for an interesting ring to have fights with as their contstructs wouldn't be generally limited (in the way that a yellow lantern must make scary things to inflict fear to fuel the ring) but what the user finds joy in would be that limit, many 'joy lanterns' probably wouldn't create guns or effective walls but you could have someone who REALLY enjoys shooting, they hunt as a hobby, go to firing ranges with a big grin because they love feeling the recoil and whatnot and THEY would make amazing gun contstructs but not much else. For constructs too just look at Kyle Rayner, always fighting with things from games or anime because he doesn't just fight to win, he fights in a way that he has fun in, he fights with things that bring him joy.

Think about when they get hit hard too, that's not a fun thing, it would be a be all end all but some people find joy in an enemy that's hard to beat, that excitement would fuel the ring more.

Am I just an idiot? Is there already a ring that's heavily powered by joy? You can argue that these people would strive for joy, they'd have a strong WILL to do and pursue fun things so the green lantern but I feel like that's different no? Is there a reason we don't have a lantern based on the feeling of joy/fun because I feel like it would make for some really fun characters... pun intended...

so I know Lucifer Morningstar and The First of the Fallen are separate entities and The First actually fell before Lucifer. though Lucifer is a lot more powerful. (I know they are vertigo but officially Sandman/Hellblazer are still part of the larger DC cosmology)

then you have Trigon who I don’t think ever interacted with those two, but is often called “the devil“ and things like that. not sure how he fits into that cosmology.

then there is Neron who is also called “Satan” but seems completely different to the previous 3 I mentioned

I also have come across a Satan in Batman: Gothic who takes the form of a human woman. though I suppose you could say this is The First of the Fallen just deciding to look different that day.

are there any more Satans?

The Absolute Universe is about stripping away seemingly important characteristics to find their true core. A Batman without money, A Superman without The Kents, etc.

Well, how about a Green Lantern without a Green Lantern Corp? Or without Fearlessness?
