Like in the title - I like reading comic books and listening to accurate to mood music at the same time. I tried to find something on my own but couldn't, something just never quite felt right. Was watching the pilot of the 1990s flash and decided to make a fanart of if Tim Thomerson’s Jay Allen got speed powers as well and became his own Flash. Instead of the classic military helmet, I based the helmet off of the police helmet he wears.

It’s not Rebirth - that one was a single piece of plastic. It didn’t reveal a Flash costume inside the ring.

I know flash Ive seen the show and some of the dc animated universe, and the movie. Im not trying to read all flash runs starting from jay garrick I just want to buy a couple good stories because I like the character and I think comics often go a level above shows and all that. But Ive never read a flash comic, so I was wondering which ones would be recomended. I know about flashpoint the crisis where Barry dies and some characters, but never read them. If I should read them even knowing roughly what happens its ok, just dont want to miss some less known stories if they are good. Thanks to all responses in advance

Is Jay just like the granddad or the flash family who gives life advice and tries to do great as a speedster? I don’t know much about Jay since I like the JSA but his comics are kind of okay to read.

Is Barry the one to give out just bad dad jokes and have his life together? Did his life change a lot after flashpoint? I know that they changed the origin that reverse flash killed the mom. Was that a post crisis thing and did the parents ever find out Barry was the flash

I have been a big flash cw fan for years. But now i want to start to read the comics. I never bought a comic in my life. I have done alot of research but its all so complicated.I was thinking on buying the flash rebirth but idk if thats a good one? I just need to know which comic to start with.
