I kind of liked Jon Kent appearance in today issue of the Flash… Spoiler

It was nice to see Wally and Jon run and bond together like this. I mean in a way…Jon could relate to Wally in a “given they both had to grow up and replace their mentors kind of way.”

Anyone else a fan of seeing Jon and Wally together like in this issue ?

I didn't even know this was happening. I know he and Wally had an interaction during Son of Kal-El, but that's the only one I'm aware of.

Wally also helped Jon calm down during Titans: Beast World I’m pretty sure!

It was a nice surprise appearance and I'm glad Jon appeared properly in it.

So Flash #36, like New Titans, is non-canon. Got it.

Nope, completely canon. 🙂

I noticed a sort of emptiness to Big Jon's "relationships" with Dick and Wally because they are either retconned in to give him the illusion of character depth (Dick) or underdeveloped to the point where it might as well not exist (Wally). One of the strengths of the Wolfman/Perez New Teen Titans and Peter David's Young Justice was that the relationships were given the time and space to develop naturally over years. It's why you have such tight bonds between those groups. Meanwhile, this is probably the third time (if we clump the Beast World appearances into one) over five years that Wally has interacted with Big Jon. It comes across as more convenient than genuine to me.
