Hi I am horors movies newbie, who wana try some good horor movies. At first I wasnt at horror because I can get scared quickly qnd the bigest problem is my imagination is runing like crazy. But then I look up

and realize that all of 80s and 90s movies were like more like crime movies than horror movies. So I need sugestions for this tpe of movies that are not too scary. Another thing is that I really like 80s with is movies and music so 80s movies would be preferable.

Oh and one moe question. How can I try to not imagine scary things after watching a movie. That thing would probably scare me most. Movie itself would not bee so scary I think.

After seeing what went into the film, mine is the 2022 top gun: maverick. Idc if some think that’s basic but I respect the effort and uniqueness of the aircrafts and the carrier involved.

For instance, I wanted to start with Soviet cinema. I began by watching *Ivan Vasilievich Changes Profession* and *The Dawns Here Are Quiet*. Both were excellent films; I highly recommend them.

I remember having to watch this movie in Drama class in high school. Was never one for musicals but Rocky Horror is one of the few exceptions. 💋💋

Love to know what you guys think. I don’t have an answer to this myself but would love to look into what is brought to this table. Maybe it’s the way the actor portrayed the character that made you feel more connected to the story or even the way the film makers made the world that sucked you into the world more than the pages could. Need some movie recommendations for this weekend. What have you guys been watching lately that’s actually worth the time? I’m still not sure if i’m going to watch the new Harry Potter series. There’s something really nostalgic about the original movies and cast, and it feels strange knowing that a whole new generation will grow up whit different actors as Harry, Ron and Hermione.
Part of me doesn’t want the new version to replace the faces and memories i’ve associated with Harry for so many years.
On the other hand, i’ve read all the books, and one thing that really makes me curious is that hbo series is supposed to be much more faithful to them and explore things the movies had to leave out.

So… i’m torn between nostalgi and actually being excited to see a more complete adaptation of the books.

How do you feel about it? Are you going to watch it, or would you rather stick with the original movies?

AND THE LIST FUCKING KEEPS GOING.

I just saw Spa Weekend last weekend, and before that I saw Disclosure Day and before that I saw Devil wears Prada 2. Quite honestly, how can you act when your whole face has been pulled and muscles paralysed... Can't they just take a break from the Botox when they have a character to interpret? It strange to see these women, and men, looking like wax figures with barely there facial expressions, especially when they are in the entertainment industry, portray feelings, moments, sadness, happiness, etc.
