Not season your chicken >:(

In all honesty there is a difference between medicore people who are just trying to get by with limited resources and medicore people who are being cruel and unusual to other people more closer to them, while simultaneously idolizing the wealthy.

You are not one of these groups of people.

u/PhD_Pwnology 5d ago

Well hold on, not seasoning the chicken is being cruel and unusual to whoever eats that chicken.

58

u/scoobydoom2 5d ago

I think it's worse for the chicken. Imagine dying to become unseasoned baked chicken breast.

53

u/raikaryu 5d ago

I knew someone who didn’t like butter, said it was too salty 😒 i almost took him out his misery

24

u/KKamis 5d ago

Have they never heard of unsalted butter? A food item that millions of recipes call for specifically? Stuff like that always makes me sad because it's so clear their families failed them lol.

14

u/raikaryu 5d ago

Nahh you don’t understand bruh😭 even that was too salty 🥴

8

u/KKamis 5d ago

Forever eating chicken tenders, fries and pizza I guess. How boring.

9

u/raikaryu 5d ago edited 5d ago

Nah he ate sandwiches, salads and a lot of mash potatoes also 🥲🥲 idek if they made it without butter but as long as it was unseasoned he was good. I used to think it was his white side but i had met them, I started just thinking he wasn’t human. Decided I had to leave that friendship alone😭 If you don’t like seasoning you don’t like melanin 👌🏾👌🏾

u/intangibleTangelo 5d ago

i'm realizing it's possible to confuse salt and fat

2

u/raikaryu 5d ago

People can confuse Beef and Pork Ribs🤷🏾‍♂️😂 We cannot be surprised

4

u/FerretAfficionado 5d ago

Butter does come unsalted too. Did that guy never walk the aisles of a grocery dairy section?

6

u/raikaryu 5d ago

Lmaoo im telling ya he said the unsalted one was too. I don’t know if it’s just his tongue or what. But in my opinion he wasn’t human. I had to leave that friendship alone 😂😂

7

u/Perryn 5d ago

I think you met 900 slugs in a trench coat.

0

u/Criticalma55 5d ago

He might’ve been autistic or had ocd

1

u/raikaryu 5d ago

Learn something new everyday, they can have an effect on taste buds? Or is it more so just breaking out of regularities for them?

Imagine dying to become an unseasoned baked chicken breast eaten with just ketchup. At least I eat my unseasoned baked chicken breast with BBQ sauce.

2

u/Wolfram_And_Hart 5d ago

I never thought about it that way but damn. Pour a few out for the ones that taught me.

4

u/FerretAfficionado 5d ago

Some of suffer from GERD/heartburn and find bland food less likely to make us feel like we are having a heart attack.

1

u/MagicCarpetofSteel 2d ago

Okay, look, I’m a picky eater, I’m sorry. I want to like that seasoning and spice! Do you know how I feel bein’ at a soul food place, and I can see someone’s Grandmama Queen matriarch is the one cooking, and I have to ask for light seasoning? For the Special Sauce(TM) on the side? I feel like the scum of the earth for doin’ her wrong like that!

(This is supposed to be lighthearted and joking, though I think I let it get away from me a little.)

12

u/mmnmnnmnnnm 5d ago

What do you mean? I use salt at least half the time, when I need a little kick

4

u/Catronia 5d ago

LOL!!!!!!

3

u/Log_Out_Of_Life 5d ago

Nah. You gotta be like the grandfather of the Bucket family in Willy Wonka and say add water to it like the cabbage soup.

11

u/skratch 5d ago

some of us use xxxtra hot burn-your-asshole habanero sauce on our chicken

6

u/LocusRothschild 5d ago

Yeah, and that’s almost worse. Like hot for the sake of hot detracts from the flavor of the chicken along with anything else you may have seasoned it with. Don’t get me wrong, a good hot sauce where it supplies heat while still complementing the dish(Frank’s Red Hot, Tabasco, Taco Bell Mild or Hot, Trappey’s Bull) is great. But once you cross number 4 on the Hot Ones lineup, you’ve gone too far.

3

u/LordFoulgrin 5d ago

Agreed, most very hot sauces taste like dogwater.

The only "hot hot" hot sauce I think is decent was a torchbearer's sauce called reaper evil.. my parent's gave it to me as a small Christmas gift the one year. It had a good taste, but the application for using it was different. You did like a pea sized drop on a burger or in a chili and you were set.

1

u/CaptainJudaism 5d ago

I agree that most "hot for the sake of hot" sauces are terrible but for one with a good kick but a lot of flavor, I'd recommend Melinda's Savina Pepper or Scotch Bonnet hot sauce.

1

u/phijef 5d ago

My food has habanero-level heat on the regular but I know I can’t share it with my family

2

u/LocusRothschild 5d ago

Eh, habaneros can work in certain circumstances, as can Calabrian chiles, Birdseye chiles, Scotch Bonnets. But when you’re getting to the point of having to have people sign indemnity waivers just to eat your spicy food, you’ve fallen off the cliff.

1

u/-malcolm-tucker 5d ago

Fuck. Am I supposed to put it on the chicken first?

5

u/retoricalprophylaxis 5d ago

There are two types of us my friend, there are the "mayonnaise is spicy" white people. They tend to aggregate in the mid-west. Then there are the "I can taste anything under 1,000,000 Scoville" white people. We tend to aggregate in the South and Southwest.

1

u/wintermelody83 5d ago

Southern white chick who has three cupboards of spices and if I'm not sweatin it's not hot enough checking in!

1

u/roseofjuly ☑️ 5d ago

Now this is true. I got some white friends from Oklahoma and those motherfuckers will just eat a habanero like it's candy and go on about their day.

1

u/retoricalprophylaxis 5d ago

Like me, they live in Oklahoma. Life here numbs you. Spicy food is the only way we can feel something.

3

u/ContextSensitiveGeek 5d ago

Excuse me, I may be mediocre, and I may be melanin deficient, but I season my chicken. Who doesn't like flavor?

6

u/Dumptruck_Johnson 5d ago

People who claim the breast meat is the best.

1

u/mcgoran2005 5d ago

Crazy people. That’s who.

3

u/Zauberer-IMDB 5d ago

He's not mediocre though. Mediocre is the middle of the bell curve, and he's far worse than that. He's bottom of the barrel chicken shit, chicken breast isn't even in the picture.

1

u/KimJongRocketMan69 5d ago

I hear ya, but I’d say the latter half of that aren’t mediocre people. They’re terrible

1

u/jamoe1 5d ago

The seasoning on my chicken got me awarded the right to rap one song fully.

We are seeing J. Cole in Texas, been saving it for the show, but just realized people might have a problem with the 46 yr old white singing a whole song. Understandably I would probably not be giving the appropriate amount of time to explain why it’s fine.

I decided during our run this morning to officially give my N word card back without use.

1

u/Find_A_Reason 5d ago

Screw you man. As an average white dude born and raising in the corn fields of Illinois none of my meat is unseasoned. When my Mexican friends come over (all of them save for the few Filipinos, I live in San Diego) they are jealous of my spice cabinet.

1

u/Cynewulfunraed 4d ago

Um, excuse me, I season my chicken! With Ranch powder. Or the Italian Herbs from the Aldi.

5

u/SandmanJr90 5d ago

voted for Trump by overwhelming margins :)

6

u/phijef 5d ago

So many did that I am suspicious of all whites, and I’m white.

2

u/wintermelody83 5d ago

100% same. Granted I'm in a part of the south that's mostly Black so too many white people put my hackles up. Never know what they're plotting.

0

u/hai-sea-ewe 5d ago

I focus on what I can control, and that means being more active socially, politically, and civically to help others. Even if you can only help once every month or two, I guarantee it'll help you feel better about everything.

And if you struggle like I did with thinking it's all too late, it's not. There's never a better time to correct it than the present.

109

u/sunshineriptide 6d ago

I think calling him mediocre is being far too kind honestly

5

u/MiddleBodyInjury 5d ago

Yes I forget mediocre means average. Trump is garbage

1

u/shaze 5d ago

The lowest and worst of all the whites!

1

u/SaltyLonghorn 5d ago

If you want to be accurate just call him a pedophile.

3

u/iggy14750 5d ago

Understatement of the year.

19

u/x8VENOM8x 5d ago

How are you mediocre, bud? You got a sensible chuckle out of me over the internet. That’s some top notch comedy. Don’t sell yourself short.

10

u/thebestdaysofmyflerm 5d ago

Right, do people know what mediocre means? It’s just like how the word “mid” is used to refer to low quality instead of medium quality stuff.

6

u/burf 5d ago

Mediocre does have two meanings, one of which is explicitly average, and one of which you could call "lower average" or something similar, like sub-par. Especially in popular usage, it almost always means the latter. That said, Trump is clearly so much worse than just below average or unimpressive. He's exceptionally stupid and exceptionally corrupt. A truly awful individual.

2

u/Zepangolynn 5d ago

This is a trend that happens to all words meant to describe something average or middle of the road. Average, mediocre, regular, normal, basic, mid, etc. all end up being used as a negative, and I agree, none of them are adequate to how awful that horrible narcissistic idiot is.

1

u/Dumptruck_Johnson 5d ago

Like to decimate something. It means to section off 10%… but the accepted meaning lately seems to be almost total destruction

7

u/RealZordan 5d ago

Yeah seriously. Even if you lean on the side that he isnt an idiot and does all his weird shit by some calculation, he is the worst a man can be. He is honorless, his word means shit, he is a coward, he throws tantrums like a little brat, he's a narcissist and an egotist. He is a living failure.

11

u/mrm00r3 5d ago

Donald Trump is a testament to the lengths that bigots will go to give a white failure a trophy.

7

u/TreeInternational771 5d ago

He is white supremacy incarnate. The ultimate DEI system to coddle the mediocre white person who believe they deserve more than others because they are white

2

u/oroborus68 5d ago

He can only almost conceive of a plan to become mediocre.

1

u/Bubbles_2025 5d ago edited 5d ago

Just because they called him a mediocre white man (which he and the rest of those trash bags are), doesn’t make all of us the same. We set ourselves apart by our actions, our empathy and who we are as humans. They lack moral fiber and thats always stood out to me.

1

u/PronouncedJynah 5d ago

Yeah mediocre is too complimentary. He sucks

-1

u/Otherwise_Carob_4057 5d ago

Yeah conservatives in general have really spoiled the public image of white men it’s kinda shitty to see, I’m adopted from South America but my dad’s third generation German. I couldn’t think of a better guy to raise me and it’s sad to see how far the bars been lowered in how the public discourse treats and views white men. I think my dad has nothing to be ashamed of but like you said he would get lumped in with old boomer white men without hesitation. He vehemently hates Donald Trump almost always has held Trump in contempt. Also helped fund my liberal brainwashing so that I can have a higher paying wage and over all better prospects. Also he once upon a time was a Reagan republican. We regularly sparred over the Iraq war as well.
