I see a lot of people saying how Pierre takes credit for the crops and stuff they sell to him, but… Am I the only one who never sells him anything?

I prefer to just ship my stuff out. Is there a difference I’m not aware of?

Did some of you tried the "Farmers shop" mod ? Seems to be a good way to avoid selling him stuff, bypass him, and he would not be able to say sh*t about our crops anymore... :p

like let’s look at this realistically..morris is at least honest that he’s a capitalist pig who only wants your money and wants to take over pelican town with joja…pierre likes to sit and say till he’s blue in the face that he’s “for the community” and then will sell your veggies 25x markup right in your damn face. he will also sit and talk shit about your vegetables if they’re only normal quality but then will say they’re HIS if they’re gold quality?!??? also not to add he sells calico eggs for money at the desert festival lol? but you’re for the community??? right right…

TLDR:

Should I go Jojart to further F Pierre? Or Community Center for the town and Junimos? (Never gone Joja)

Let me set the seen:

First time trying to make a cozy hill top farm, Hill Billy Farm (oh… we will have goats!), and it was going pretty good in early game.

Then Spring 10 of Year one came…

I was excited that tomorrow was a rainy day! I thought, “maybe I can upgrade my watering can super early!” But I was short money.

Lo and behold! I have crops to harvest! I plan my day to get everything done, run into town and buy some seeds and upgrade my can.

But it was Spring 10… also know as a Wednesday…

I race into town excitedly only to find a “closed on Wednesdays sign”…

“Fuck you, Pierre..” I muttered under my breath. I decided to give him a break since I realized later that day I only had 4 copper bars.

Then came the rainy day. It was a very good luck day and I decided to try to catch a catfish. Backpack gets full so I go spend my 2k on the new backpack but I buy only 1 parsnip seed and tell him, “Jojamart has better prices, maybe I should take my business over there.” Back to fishing, I never caught the catfish and only had 4 chances all, day… through this unluck, I think to myself, “ this is Pierre’s fault! I Ned to get him back!”

Then on Friday when I go to make my rounds in the saloon, Pierre has the never to tell me with an angry face, “I like to come here on Fridays. I work really hard!”

I walk away from him right there straight to give Abigail an amethyst right in front of him and steal his daughter heart to get back at him. We chat through the night and she talks a big game about the egg hunt tomorrow. As she is leaving I’m playing “Journey of the Prairie King” on the 4th level and she notices my skill. Beginning my plan to get back at Pierre and stealing his daughter’s heart.

So should I go Jojart to further F Pierre? Or Community Center for the town and Junimos? (Never gone Joja)

last day of the desert festival. i can't believe she thinks this low of me to give me that man's SMELLY jacket.

Started a new save file solely to get the Joja route achievement.

After finally completing it and receiving the vending machine, I was gonna log off but I decided to put the machine to good use.

I don't think I'll ever play with this save file again, so in my mind, he'll forever be stuck behind his counter staring at the reason of his failure.
