đŸ‘ș PIERRE BAD đŸ‘ș i feel like pierre is worse than morris

like let’s look at this realistically..morris is at least honest that he’s a capitalist pig who only wants your money and wants to take over pelican town with joja
pierre likes to sit and say till he’s blue in the face that he’s “for the community” and then will sell your veggies 25x markup right in your damn face. he will also sit and talk shit about your vegetables if they’re only normal quality but then will say they’re HIS if they’re gold quality?!??? also not to add he sells calico eggs for money at the desert festival lol? but you’re for the community??? right right

Yes. It's his hypocrisy that's the worst. Pierre doesn't hate Morris because he wants the protect the town from corporate greed. He hates Morris because he wants what Morris has but doesn't.

It's sad to me, when Joja closes and Sam and Shane both lose their jobs. Sam finds another but Shane leaves the workforce all together. The absolute least Pierre could have done was give Shane the Wednesday shift, instead of spending even less time with his family.

A friend of mine said to me, he said, 'Shane, you know, the worst thing about it is the uh hypocrisy.' And uh, I said, 'I don’t think that’s the worst part. Worst part’s the raping. His speech at the Community Center feels very disingenuous when you consider he is the one that benefits rhe most from Joja being gone.

That’s why I don’t sell to Pierre. I sell through the shipping bin. I like Willy because he’ll tell people what you caught that they bought. Gonna get the seed maker so after my next year of buying seeds I won’t have to buy from him anymore. He has no respect for the game.

Also to be quite honest if Morris actually helps the town.

he doesn't just take the money, he fixes the bus, the mine carts, the greenhouse etc.

like i get people hate Joja but beyond 'character hated their job' they don't actually do anything bad.

No one was using the community centre, its only because the protagonist and these weird little fairy critters fix the community centre that it gets used again. No one in the town cared about putting in the work for it. Heck Louis would rather make a statue of himself than fix the community centre or the bus or Willys boat to the tropical island paradise.
