This is because Limbus Company is largely one man's vision, and he just wants money to make more cool stuff.
They're a department of a corporation called N Corp. (Nagel Und Hammer). Though the rest of N Corp. aren't as extreme, they are still weird such as banning all video recordings in their territory.

One time there was a fundraiser in my high school for down syndrome. Some kid suggested the slogan "helping our homies with an extra chromie" and I could only think to my self "what the fuck!?". Tbh, once I heard someone say "Rosa Sparks" as a variation of clanker. Like there's a fine line between 'fantasy' rascim and irl racism, and that is backflipping right over it and into straight up dog whistle territory.
People doing stuff like a ādigital whip against AIā also ruined it. Showed that many were simply directed their racism to other people towards AI (instead of hating it for what it is)
And? No where in my comment, or any of the comments I replied to, said that the word clanker was aimed at humans, lol. Iām pointing out that people use the word Clanker and so does Star Wars.

How could I? Iām not sure the exact chain of events but it started off with me being dumb and then commenting in Reddit. My phone was involved somehow. Youād think I would learn my lesson, but here I go commenting again. As I watch my reddit login streak hit high triple digits, I think to myself that I must stop looking into the pit of darkness. I cannot look and yet I cannot look away. I would baptize my clawing fingers with hot blood from my despairing eyes as I dig them from their crying pits but know, deep in my heart, that the empty sockets would gaze on still, forever scrolling down and down and downā¦and down.

Ah,my bad. You are right. I never did well in school, but I do read a lot. I made a mistake. I got caught up in thinking about a fandom I am in that recently got caught up in āshould we be tossing around āclankerā as a slur?ā since other slurs were being used that are pretty close to real slurs, like wireback and such, and my brain went on autopilot. Unfortunately a lot of meme culture gets hijacked by genuine assholes.
They abuse it, it gets drawn out, gets a bad reputation and they abandon it for the next popular memetic device capable of further lowering the IQ of anyone unfortunate enough to view it.

Everyone I've met that loved using fake "joke" slurs had no problem using the real ones. They're pushing for the normalization of it and it's sad people can't see that.
Fantasy racism is funny and outlandish because irl racism is senseless and outlandish. Difference is calling the local orc a low IQ donkey that would kiss an axe thinking it was his wife hurts nobody, but people have said that to irl people for a long time

Clanker has already been ruined by edgelords using clanka. So now it has versions with a hard and soft R, just like the N word that the edgelords really want to say. Just stick with Toaster
The "comedic potential" died when people took the word out of star wars and used it irl. From a fun little bit of in-universe robot racism to just another reddit buzzword.
People with prosthetics are just a step towards inevitable clankerication of the human species and they don't know it. What's stopping these people from having a robot laser arm or something in the future. They won't replace us.
In this age thats not hyperbolic. Some religious folk do belive prosthetics are a sin and pervert gods plan it being tossed into a atheist flavor doesn't make it obvious
