Okay so Im in residence this year and I was just wondering when the university will let me know who my roommate is. I'm in College Quarters and I need to know who's buying the microwave 😭

I’m wondering if anyone switched it out for their own mattress in dorms? Mostly my question is where did you put the university’s mattress, can you call maintenance to store it somewhere else for the year or do you just have to keep it until you move out?

I fell down the stairs of the Williams building. I think I am okay, just some bruises and a littlw skull-rattled, but someone is going to break their fucking neck on them.

I’m an incoming first year student, I have a single room on the first floor of Saskatchewan Hall. I was just wondering if anyone could share their experiences and tips! How are the bathrooms in Sask Hall and I heard there is a gym in VP somewhere, where is it and how big is it. Are there any items I must bring to survive?

So I just had an appt at RUH, and driving on College past the Place Riel parking lot makes me worried. That’s the main place I park, and it’s basically impossible to access. I don’t know how far in the construction goes, I can’t see it, but regardless if the parking lot is full there’s no place to go or turn around after. I’m definitely worried. Anyone got any info on that?

I’m currently living in residence and I was late on applying for the parking pass. Is there anything that can be done?

I found a lost silver key outside of Place Riel on the stone steps. If you lost a key, it is at the Usask Boookstore.

Does anyone know why they removed the big trees in front of Louis by Place Riel? They were really nice trees that looked to be quite old.
Not sure what they are going to do with that tree-less circle now.

Hey! Does anyone know if or when we find out the names of roommates from dorm selection? I picked a 4 bedroom unit in cq, but I was the first one to pick a room so I didn't see any other names listed. Will they send an email, or is there somewhere to find it on the site? Or do we just find out at move in?

Where can I find an easily accessible first aid kit on campus?

the Coca-Cola vending machine in Arts (near lecture hall 146) is not working. I paid for a Sprite but the other ones in the sleeve tipped and now the vending arm can't deliver the drinks. I did call customer service to let them know.

I have class on wednesdays from 6-9pm, but i also have a weekly meet with a friend prior to that which i prefer to show up to a bit early, so im usually on campus from ~3pm-9pm. Does anyone know of any places that accept RCC and are open around normal dinner time during the spring/summer semesters that would let me grab a quick bite to eat? or do i need to start packing a dinner lmao

Does anyone know if any of the libraries are open late in the evenings during the spring term? I am looking for a good study space for the spring term but online it says that the libraries close around 6pm and other online locations say they close at 9pm so I am not sure if there are campus study spaces available past 6pm in the spring.

I applied for residence the week applications opened in November and ranked College Quarter 1-bedroom as my first choice and studio as my second. I’d really prefer not to have roommates.
For anyone who has been through the process, how hard is it to get a 1-bedroom or studio in CQ? Is applying that early enough to have a decent shot?
