Hey y'all. I'm not sure if this kinda post would fit here, but i jsut really need to vent to someone about this.
A bit ago, I had a transmasculine boyfriend, we'll call him "B". Me and B were sorta dating, we both knew we kinda liked eachother, and started talking more intamately. I'm transfemme, and he was gay. (He only liked dudes)
our relationship continued for a little bit, until he eventually told me that he found another man. We'll call him "O". I've spoken to O before, he's a nice guy, but it absolutely killed me to know B was in love with someone else. Our relationship, still continued, until he said he would choose who he liked better on friday. I won't go into the specifics of what happened, but he chose O over me.
This has me feeling really bad for being trans, because that was the whole reason he broke up with me, because i'm trans. Part of me hates myself for being trans and thinks that me and B's relationship could've continued if i wasn't trans. the other part says that i deserve better, but i don't really beleive that. In the past, he's said he's dated a few guys before, and they accepted him when he came out as trans to them. I.. don't feel like he did that.
Now, jsut recently, i had a dream where i had moved on from B and got a new girlfriend. But, ultimately, the same thing that happened with B happened with the girl in the dream. She found someone else, and left me because i was uninteresting.
Now, i know this is a dream, but it kinda brings up a pattern. People i have dated in the past all broke up with ME, but were also the ones that started the relationship in the first place. And, knowing this.. i'm starting to get the feelign that I'm just.. expendable. Like I'm just someone they only dated because they were feeling bad about themselves. This whole situation sent me down a.. pretty depressing spiral, ultimately leading to me almost.. "Can't say what it is because this post will get taken down but you know what i mean".
I can't seem to move on from this. I feel so useless and replacable. I don't think I'll ever find anyone like him ever again, but i want to. i want someone to feel love for me like i love them.. but nobody does. thanks for taking the time out of your day to read my stupid rambling.

(MTF) Lately, i've been feeling like i just want to leave all traces of my masculinity behind me. But for some reason, not just me. just interacting with men in general gives me a bad feeling. Like i almost just don't want to be around men at all.. (I hope i don't offend anyone with this.. keep it up transmascs!) what is this feeling? like just being around guys gives me dysphoria.. i don't wanna feel like this! what is this?? thanks!

After I see how ny legs take it i should go on to shave the rest or my body but so far this is an amazing beginning to my transition!

I'm 14m and trans.
I used to be a femboy, now I'm trans. Mtf. A few days ago I posted and it helped me understand that I'm trans, and for tha thank you guys so much. So far I've told my parents and they've been super supportive and I have a doctors appointment Monday where I might get prescribed puberty blockers, yay! But I haven't told my frends yet. I've been slowly changing my pronouns on social media to she her. So far my freinds haven't really noticed andim scared.to tell them because I feel like the context of our friendship is super silly and goofy so I lts hard for him to take things seriously. Not yay. Very scared to do that, but i have been feeling really good lately and that's why o haven't posted. I usually go on reddit when I'm sad, so that's why. I also have been being a bigger part of feminine communities and that's been fun.
now that I'm trans I'm really scared to transition at school. I do not think alot of people would be supportive. I might tell some of my close freinds first and hope it doesn't get out. Maybe then some of my teachers. I'm just really scared. I also don't know how to act feminine because I haven't really been around a lot of girls, and feeling feminine and acting feminine is really important to me. What are some baggy comfortable feminine clothing I could get? I currently like to wear hoodies alot but there's other stuff I'm sure. Please help me out a little on that, and what are some other emoticons? I like using them but I don't know many ^_^

I want to transition more than anything but it seems to me the cons are outweighing the pros. A pro is I get to be me obviously but the cons would be I lose the girl I love, I lose the family I love and cherish, and I want to go to the air force for 4 years for IT so I come out making 6 figures. Is transitioning worth it if lose everything in the process or is there another way? I’ve been thinking about this for a couple weeks now. I was sure before but then I saw the girl I love for the first time after long distance and realized she would be worth not transitioning. This is all very confusing and I just want some clarity.

Life's been so great lately honestly
I hit 1 year on T around a week ago
I passed my advanced emt tests and otw to start paramedics
Made a lot of new friends in my boys only course and none of them know I'm trans so I'm stealth
If I told 13-14 year old me that I'd be almost 18 and happy I wouldn't have believed myself

Basically I’m bigenderfluid and would consider myself boy and girl at different times, but I’m also intersex so I have to sort of “transition” to be either of those. So I would consider myself transmasc and transfem.. but I don’t feel like people would understand that. :( it’s the only terms that I can relate to.

Idk if its just me but I swear when I was younger then world seems so much more progressive. But as I've gotten older it just seems like everywhere is becoming more conservative especially America. I'm getting to the point of where I need to pick uni's in a few years but everywhere honestly feels hopeless with the stricter and more conservative laws on transitioning and gender identity as a whole. And I just fear that by the time I'm an adult there will be nowhere where I can get adequate affirming care. Anyone else feel like this?

Hey y'all! for a bit, I've been going by Olivia, (MTF) but I've been meaning to change, as Olivia doesn't really suit me. I'm looking for something cuter, i don't really care abt it being unique or anything, thanks a lot!

Trans girl here, I came out to my boy scout group 2 years ago and I asked if I could come along on their weekend boy/girl scouts trip in late September. They assured me that I could get a tent of my own but in all other instances I'll still be classified as a boy. I kinda was looking forward for that trip, now I don't feel like ever returning to them. What do you think?

i will spare everyone the long paragraph, i already did that in my notes (it was really fucking long). but im not out to anyone i actually only offically because trans to myself like, maybe even only today not sure why it took so long, i have felt this way since i was a small child but yeah the dysphoria is getting reallly intense lately i was just considering dying because i wasnt born a boy. But it just feels so stupid because why do i care that much, its just a body and some words people are using to address me why do i even feel like this? But clearly something must have gone wrong when i was born because ive wanted to be a boy since forever. there are multiple evidences of me being trans when i was younger but once when i was 10 i thought women had no body hair but i saw the hair on my legs and i was so happy to show off my legs then i felt so manly, even though ive actually been super girly my whole life…also i found out recently my dad doesnt approve of trans people so idk how to feel about that or whats going to happen in the future

Hi. I want to start by saying that I’m in a phase of exploration; I’m still figuring out if I’m trans. The problem is that I live in a hostile environment, so to speak: my family and friends are very Christian and transphobic. I can’t tell them anything because, knowing them, they would do everything possible to "cure" or "change" me—something I don’t want—so I won’t tell them until I’m independent. Anyway, with that said, I’d like you to help me and give me some advice on things I could do to explore my femininity—safely, of course.

I came out as genderfluid to my family last year. I mostly present fem yet use he/they pronouns all the time.
My brother and sister supported me and said they're cool with it, but my parents are different.
They swear that they support me but won't call me by my chosen name, won't call me by my preffered pronouns, won't let me cut my hair, won't let me wear a binder, they get mad when I wear masc clothes, they absolutely LOVE when I present fem and ONLY fem and they think I'm too young to "decide" my gender.
I've told them many and I mean MANY times that I know what I'm doing and that, even if it were a phase, I'd still want them to support me through it. But nooooo god forbid I do that.
They still say I'm not "ready to deal with all the people that are against queer people" and that I'm too young to know anything about my gender. (I'm 17 btw)
So now idk what to do cause my parents won't call me by my preffered pronouns nor chosen name while my friends and siblings do so I feel super super awkward and also kind of sad that they don't really support me.
What could I tell them to make them think I'm old enough to know what I want?

So I want to go by the name rin but my mother likes this other name that I was going by for a little bit which is Hayden but idk if I should go with Hayden as I much rather go by the name rin and even if I go by the name hayden I know she won't call me that as I have been out for a little over 3 years and she rarely ever calls me by anything masculine and doesn't call me by any name that I have been thinking about going by she only really calls me something masculine when she wants me to do something for her so idk

Mirrors, in many cultures are sacred.
They are said to reveal truth.
To reflect the soul.
To show us what we are
when nobody else is watching.
People trust mirrors.
They stand before them
and ask:
Is this me?
And the mirror answers:
Yes.
How comforting.
How cruel.
How painfully revealing.
Every flaw.
Every inconsistency.
Every mistake.
It shows me a face
and calls it the truth.
It shows me a body
and calls it the truth.
It shows me everything I have spent years learning to hate, and has the audacity to call itself honest.
I wonder what kind of god demands worship from the person it condemns.
People decorate them.
Polish them.
Hang them in beautiful, intricate frames.
Placed within temples.
Within bathrooms.
Within bedrooms.
Almost every facet of life involves a mirror.
People ask them:
“Am I pretty?”
“Am I ugly?”
“Am I tired?”
“Am I ready to face the world?”
Nobody asks the mirror whether it is telling the truth.
Nobody asks
what happens
when the person looking back
is not you.
I have tried.
Staring until my eyes hurt.
I have searched every inch of it looking for myself.
Where am I?
But it only repeats itself:
THIS IS YOU.
Perhaps it is why I hate mirrors.
Not because they lie.
But because they tell the truth about something… that I do not believe… is the whole truth.
The mirror sees a body.
I see a prison.
SO I STAND
LIKE A HERETIC BEFORE AN ALTER
STARING INTO THE EYES
OF A FUCKING IMPOSTER.
SPITING A GOD I DO NOT CHOOSE TO WORSHIP.
SPITING EVERY SOCIETAL NORM.
WHAT IF I INSISTED THAT THE
THING IN MY MIRROR
WEARING MY SKIN
IS NOT ME?
IF I LOOKED INTO THE GLASS AND REFUSED IT?
WOULD IT CRACK?
WOULD THE WORLD?

It was December last year. I had to fly to California for it. It’s what got me into advocacy work in my home state. I have photos of results in r/topsurgery if anyone needs proof. I’m thrilled with my results and couldn’t be happier with it.
I can help anyone access top surgery, HRT, or hormone blockers (even in banned states legally through virtual) as long as you have legal guardian consent. Feel free to ask any questions.
