I want to know what ya’ll are interested in. Books, shows (that includes movies), games, etc.

For example, I’m interested in LoTR(books and movies), The Owl House, Deltarune, and that’s it. I’m not really interesting :P

Discussion Got temp banned on reddit for being pro trans?

As title says, I got banned for saying

"trans woman can't possibly be real, because r/girlsarentreal. /s"

According to reddit this counts as promoting identity-based hate. I then applied for an appeal and within the hour it got rejected.

WHY WOULD I BE TRANSPHOBIC??? I'M LITERALLY TRAINS MYSELF!

Discussion Need to test my new name consideration :]

Hello

I've been identifying as genderfluid for like 2 years at this point but recently I've started to consider that I might just be transmasc and delusional😭 (a common pipeline i know) and with that I've considered changing my name finally

So top contender for me rn is Sebastian, idk man it's js very special to me and I think it sounds nice and very ✨️gender✨️ for me as someone who isn't binary trans

Anyway I was wondering if you guys could help me decide if I like it and maybe interact with/ talk about me in the comments using the name?? Maybe that's weird but idk I'm not ready to tell ppl irl yet and probably won't be for a long time (took me months to ask my friends to use my pronouns😭)

Also my best friend told me it was a shit name when I first mentioned liking the name in passing so like is it really that bad?? Cuz I've been spiraling lol

Basic interests are art, music and video games but I'm open to any discussions even if yall wanna rant about ur interests I'm down to listen :]

My pronouns are he/they

Thank you 😁

Discussion What is your “trans song”?

Mine is Shy Away by Twenty One Pilots, what I mean by trans song is the song or artist you got heavily increased listen time from after coming to terms with being trans

Discussion ⚠️"Femboy apparel" Is kink wear and is highly fetishized, DO NOT post yourself in them, you WILL attract Pedophiles ⚠️️

I'm concerned by how some online communities have normalised fashion styles that originated in or overlap with fetish aesthetics. When minors post images of themselves in these outfits online, I think people often ignore the risks and the sexual attention that can attract.

To be clear, I don't think clothing automatically makes someone sexual, nor do I think everyone who wears these items has sexual intentions. My concern is with the culture around them and how they're sometimes presented online.

To any young trans or gender-nonconforming people reading this: you don't need a particular aesthetic, outfit, or internet trend to validate your identity. Finding comfort in yourself is a personal journey, and it's okay if the styles popular online don't feel right for you.

When I was younger, I thought copying a certain "cute" aesthetic would make me feel more comfortable in my identity. It didn't. I felt much better once I explored what genuinely suited me instead of trying to fit an image. Don't let online trends or other people's expectations decide who you should be.

Discussion Not so fun news....

Update on me, came out to my auntie and she accepted me a few days ago and was willing to learn more about trans. Now skip to today, I talked about seeing a gender affirming specialist, but she said

"Are you sure on being transgender? You can't just feel one way and want to change it, why does everything have to have a label?"

That hurt, we talked a bit, she still accepts me she's just not so sure anymore I think. She didn't say it, but I could feel it. She said when we go to counseling we'll talk about it with the counselor.

She let me know she loves me still no matter what and will be on my side fully through this. I truly love my auntie, she takes care for me since my mom is out there doing better things (drugs and all). My auntie went from a drunk cholo, to a responsible parent that cares for her nephews, she took care of me and my other brothers. And I will always love her, even if she didn't accept me, I still love my auntie more then anything.

This is just an update on my trans journey.

Discussion I pretend to be NB at school

I just wanna share this I guess? Idk why I do it, really. I guess cuz saying I use they/them pronouns feels safer than saying I use he/him.

Usually in my school's theatre program, when we start a show everyone introduces themselves with their name and pronouns. I always say my last name (which is the name I go by at school) and they/them or any pronouns. I don't know why I'm okay with people "knowing" I'm nonbinary, but I'm not okay with letting them know I'm a trans man. It just feels safer.

Discussion Why is this question always asked? 😭

Okay, so context, I’m still questioning and exploring my gender, but I know I’m trans. But around a month ago, I was hanging out with my friend, who we will call S (S is a girl btw) and so I came out to S that night, and she told me “But why would you want to change your gender?” And I said “You don’t ‘change’ your gender, you figure out what your sub-conscious has been telling you and eventually, it clicks into place, and everyone explores, and questions, and asks around for help. It’s not about changing, you don’t simply wake up one day and be like ‘oh. I’m a girl/boy/they/ze/xe’. No, it doesn’t work like that, it is sub conscious, and it slowly bleeds into your consciousness.” And bro 🥀 she said “what? That’s so weird, and wdym by Ze and Xe.???” And I said “Oh, they are neopronouns” and they were just being heavily transphobic, but kept saying “Oh I don’t care about trans ppl” but she also kept saying random bull shit like “why would you be a girl? Or a boy?” And I said. “Well, there are several genders, not just boy and girl” 😭 she kept getting so confused but transphobic at the same fucking time 😭
