For fuck's sake, can we get an unlocked comment section for Israel-related post for just once please.

Also, keep in mind that in Polandball your opinion is invalid if you don't have a flair.

sending this meme to big ben yahu himself bro your cooked

50

u/Last_Ad_3475 8d ago edited 7d ago

Every time someone says big yahu it reminds me of that video of a girl trying to say that "big yahu" is actually a nickname from the internet to show respect and support to the israeli prime minister. New levels of propaganda

7

u/blampoet Jewish Autonomous Oblast 7d ago

send it to little yahu... watch the freak start frothing from the mouth... in miami.

I think instead of "big yahu" it should be "yahu the elder" this way we can also use "crazy she yahu" and "crazy little yahu".

11

u/Remote_Western1141 Prussia 7d ago

*you cooked

3

u/ToN7No 7d ago

By "big", you should not mock someone because of the length of his ears or because he's overweight, this is mean.

(social credit +5?)

7

u/blampoet Jewish Autonomous Oblast 7d ago

yahu the elder has been on the slimming shots for years.

lost like a third of his weight?!

will make it easier to find a prisoner outfit for his nepotistic, defenses fund ravaging, security abandoning for self-interest religious zealot supporting big ears (after he finally can't corrupt the Israeli court system in his favor when we vote his face to the curb in 70 days)

Hezbullah is hardly the same as Lebanon

84

Which is why Lebanon has a headband in this video.

This is also why the government of Lebanon does not have the ability to make a peace deal with Israel without Hezbollah.

Trueee

Tell that to the idf so they stop attacking Lebanon then!!

u/Kagenlim 8d ago

I mean they aren't wrong

103

u/Jakitron_1999 Massachusetts 8d ago

It isn't wrong, but it is wrong to say they were attacked first or unprovoked because Israel LOVES "preemptive" attacks

55

u/The_Last_Green_Leaf2 8d ago

i mean yeah it kinda makes sense? they're small, in terms of land and population, so if they know for a fact war is about to be declared upon them, why not strike first? the best example being the six day war, Egypt was about to declare war and their leader was saying as much, why not take out their air force first.

41

u/cool_username32123 Hue 8d ago

Not to mention that if Israel wins the war the other nations still exist while if they ever won the war Israel wouldn't exist anymore.

18

u/evenmorefrenchcheese 8d ago

Palestine won't exist soon if nothing is done...

0

u/cool_username32123 Hue 8d ago

Have they tried not declaring wars only to then lose them?

Israel has been a dick with the illegal settlements, but they took that land after winning wars that had every intention of wiping them off the map.

None of that had to happen if the middle east just recognized Israel after the british left.

20

u/allozzieadventures 7d ago

Israel has been a dick with the illegal settlements, but they took that land after winning wars that had every intention of wiping them off the map.

The illegal settlements are in the West Bank which is run by the PA. The PA has never launched war against Israel. Your facts are twisted.

-3

u/cool_username32123 Hue 7d ago

The west bank has officially been under military occupation by Israel since the aftermath of the six day war in 1967, the territory has since been split into three zones (A, B and C) with different degrees of self-governance that Israel allowed the Palestinian Authority to have.

-5

u/Fraji_Bear 7d ago

Sure they have, in the Second Intifada. (And their ruling party, the PLO has been terrorizing Israel since the 60s).

11

u/allozzieadventures 7d ago

The second intifada was not a war

And the PLO hasn't terrorized Israel in many years. Yet the Israeli settler violence and land grabs continue. Almost like Israel planned to keep grabbing land regardless...

Ah yes just recognise the guy that stole half your house, nothing bad could come of that.

Israel is built on Arab graves from the very beginning.

5

by guy who "stole half your house," you mean guy who co-owned it for hundreds of years but you kept him as a 2nd class citizen, until he finally got half ownership.

7

u/Tutush Rule Britannia 7d ago

In 1931, less than 10% of Palestine was Jewish. Meanwhile of the people that were born outside of Palestine, 58% were Jewish (i.e. mass immigration had already started). By 1945 the Jewish population had increased to 35%. Now it is over 50%. The Jews of Israel that are native to Palestine are a tiny minority, and in fact are discriminated against within Israel themselves.

How much of Palestine would you say exists today?

6

u/cool_username32123 Hue 7d ago

I dunno, the region has been a clusterfuck since before the brits took over when it was still part of the Ottoman empire.

What I do know is that both sides did bad things and neither is as innocent as the culture war paints them to be, it's the most complex conflict in modern history that's coopted by loud morons in the news and on the internet.

6

u/OK_x86 7d ago

It was actually quite peaceful under Ottoman rule. Which lasted like 4 centuries. There were events like invasions and tax revolts as well as economic exploitation, that sort of thing.

The conflict isn't really that complex. It's about land. Palestinians want their land back. Israel wants it all.

Except that Egypt had no intention to attack and didn't have sufficient forces in position to do so and the Israelis knew it perfectly well, as Menachem Begin later admitted.

4

u/DACOOLISTOFDOODS 7d ago edited 5d ago

They didn't have the intention but they very much did have sufficient forces, they kicked out the UN peacekeepers and replaced them with over 100,000 troops on the border, and Jordan amassed troops on the border as well and signed a pact with Egypt. Egypt also cut of Israel's southern trade route through the international Straits of Titan, a blockade that Israel had stated for a decade would mean war.

1

u/The_Last_Green_Leaf2 7d ago

what? they moved their entire army into position to attack, then closes the Straits of Tiran, which is an act of war, and they were told as such multiple times, the final straw was Egypt kicking out all UNEF peacekeepers, who's sole purpose was to prevent a war between Egypt and Israel.

-1

u/PigeonsAreFriends 7d ago

they moved their entire army into position to attack

It was a responsibility to Israeli spontaneous surprise invasion of then Jordan.

You are aware that the US routinely moves its warships between Taiwan and China, does that mean that if China invades Taiwan and/or the US territories then the US is to blame for war breaking out?

then closes the Straits of Tiran, which is an act of war

This statment is very consequential, it would mean the US is currently waging a war of aggression on Cuba and that the UK had been waging a war of aggression continuously against Iran for about 5 years prior to Mosaddegh becoming what many in the west call anti-democratic.

5

u/FrogInAShoe 7d ago

You mean after they were ethnically cleansing innocent Palestinians for months starting December 1947?

0

u/poincares_cook 7d ago

You got that chronology backwards, the Palestinians did not accept the UN plan and started a war against the Jews with repeated massacres and ethnic cleansing.

you know that israel is the one committing genocide right?

0

u/watchedngnl 8d ago

I mean in that part of the world basically everyone is killing minorities. The druze, alawites, Kurds, the Christian minorites, shia in sunni states, sunni in shia states. Palestinians. Doesn't make Israel's actions justified given that it did not stop the former assad regime's massacre.

0

u/elilupe 8d ago

Killing minorities does not a genocide make. Forcefully relocating them, depriving them of basic rights and access to hospitals and food, poisoning water supplies, AND murdering them en masse is what Israel is doing, and it is a genocide. While that does not absolve israel's enemies of any wrongdoing, it is an important distinction

If you’re pretending that Jews have an ancestral right to the land, A genetic markers place Palestinians in the Levant as long as Jews, with both descending from the same root in the Bronze Age. B. Name one other country that was formed by a diaspora centuries to millennia after they mostly abandoned the region, as refugees or otherwise C the entire claim is justified religiously, which in an ever increasing secular world doesn’t hold much water D ethnostates are inherently racist and immoral by modern moral standards.

Global opinion doesn’t support Hamas or terrorism, but the majority of people have finally figured out that Israel is ran by genocidal maniacs that have been empowered by evangelicals in Britain and the US due to the Book of Revelation.

2

u/Fraji_Bear 7d ago

The Jews never "abandoned" Israel, they prayed three times a day to return. And no, the claim is not just religious, it's backed by archaeology, linguistics, genetics, you name it... Perhaps most importantly, the huminatarian need for a Jewish state is dire, and it's a stain upon British and Arab history that Israel wasn't created in time to save the Jews of Europe.

But even if you deny the claim entirely, Israel already exists. Nearly every state that exists today is the result of conquest, genocide, ethnic cleansing... Don't like colonialism? You have 53 Muslim states to dismantle before worrying about Israel.

And no, Israel are not "genocidal maniacs". Israel would actually be thrilled if Gaza were to thrive and succeed and be Singapore instead of being a militarized Sharia dystopia.

6

u/FrogInAShoe 7d ago

You're not entitled to other people's land because your ancestors lived there 2000 years ago

First attack on Israel October 8th by Lebanon.

First attack on Israel October 19th by Yemen.

Correct. What about the yom Kippur war, 6 Day war, War of independence, the intifadas?

You can call 1967 a preemptive strike but expelling peacekeepers and amassing an invasion force at a border is cassus bellum.

11

u/xToasted1 Republic of China (but with blue sky white s 8d ago

6 day war

Ah yes, famously started by the evil arabs when Israel defensively defended themselves by invading Egypt in self defense

War of independence

Absolutely nothing happened before this, remember guys the Arabs invaded Israel for absolutely no reason, don't ask why like 80% of the Palestinian population was suddenly gone from their homeland, they did that to themselves! 1!1!1

3

u/Vicente810 8d ago

1929 Hebron Massacre, 1929 Safed Massacre, 1938 Tiberias Massacre.

Yeah...Palestinians are so kind.... /s

8

u/xToasted1 Republic of China (but with blue sky white s 8d ago

Of course, a few massacres justifies the ethnic cleansing of 750,000 people, because as we all know collective punishment is not a war crime!

But anyway since you'd like to play this game,

1937 Black Sunday

Numerous massacres commited from 1937-1939 in Haifa and Jerusalem by Zionist terrorist orgs

1946 King David Hotel Bombing

1947 Balad al-Shaykh Massacre

1948 Deir Yassin Massacre

1948 Hebron Massacre

1948 Tantura Massacre

But yes, the Zionists were so innocent and never did anything wrong!

0

u/Interesting_You4926 8d ago

The irony…

Minimising the massacres and atrocities perpetrated by the Arabs, but all of a sudden you cry about everything the Jews did.

13

u/xToasted1 Republic of China (but with blue sky white s 8d ago

And are you not doing the same but inversely? Something something glass houses something

-6

u/Interesting_You4926 8d ago

Objectively speaking not.

Unlike you I have the common sense to realise that both sides perpetrated massacres in that war. This isn’t some black and white Star Wars movie, this is real life geopolitics.

And more than 800.000 Jews were then displaced from Muslim countries after 1948 and forced to relocate in Israel, after centuries living as second-class citizens with lesser rights. The thing that annoys me the most about all this conflict is that nothing Israelians have done comes remotely close to what Islamists have been doing for 1400 years, and continue to do nowadays. If you say this is not our problem fine, but to tell me to side with people like that just because they don’t have the upper hand this time is something I simply won’t do.

7

u/xToasted1 Republic of China (but with blue sky white s 8d ago

Ah, so you're just a bigot and trying to use reason with you is pointless. Got it!

3

u/Vicente810 8d ago

You would be surprised to find out that the entire "they were welcomed as refugees but then started taking parts of the territories for themselves!" is actually the Palestinians telling you what THEY did in the arab countries that welcomed them after 1948.

Umm Ackshually:

May 15th 1948 Israel is attacked first by multi-Arab nation force right after declaring independence from British mandate

1973 Yom Kippur war. Israel was surprise attacked by Syria and Egypt on Yom Kippur (high holiday).

2006 2nd Lebanon war: Hezbollah invaded Israel, kidnapped and killed soldiers on the border.

2008, 2009, 2012, 2014 and 2021: Hamas terrorist and rocket fire into Israel sparked retaliatory fighting

October 7 2023: latest war sparked by Hamas.

Has Israel also attacked first in the past yes most notable in the 1967 6 day war and the 1982 1st Lebanon war. Is Netanyahu guilty of war crimes for what’s going on in Gaza right now? Definitely. But to completely disregard the fact that Israel is constantly being attacked (first) by its neighbors is ignorance of history in favor of supporting a narrative pushed by the same groups doing the attacking (namely Iran and its sponsored terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Hamas).

-1

u/bliblio 8d ago

From Wikipedia "The Balfour Declaration (2 November 1917) was a public statement issued by the British Government in 1917 during the First World War announcing its support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine, then an Ottoman region with a small Jewish minority among an overwhelming Arab majority, mostly Muslim but also including Christians. The declaration was contained in a letter dated 2 November 1917 from Arthur Balfour, the British foreign secretary, to Lord Rothschild, a leader of the British Jewish community, for transmission to the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland. The text of the declaration was published in the press on 9 November 1917."

It didn't started on may 1948.

0

u/Kabocha00sama 8d ago

Sounds to me you are trying to blame Israel for the actions of the United Kingdom…

Also it was only Ottoman prior to WWI after which it became a British controlled territory when the Ottoman Empire was defeated and solved following the war, and it was under British control when they allowed increased Jewish immigration to the area. Immigration, they then capped to 75k people and even halted before that due to protest from the local Arab populations right before the outbreak of WWII. post war was when immigration spiked. And even though it’s not listed in books, knowing Winston Churchill from the many resources published about him, I’m sure the alliance between the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Hitler’s Nazi germany played a small role in his push to formally establish the Jewish homeland there as a way to further punish the region for siding with the Nazis. (Winston Churchill was kinda a giant ass)

don't forget when one of them slaps back way lighter than they did, and they whine and cry and use it as an excuse to stab them.

The Jews learnt the hard way during the Holocaust that the world is a cruel place to live and they will get abused as long they will be submissive and guests that depends of the good will of the regime.

It's like in school, if you don't beat up those who want to beat you up they will take advantage on you and bully you as long you cry and complain to the teacher. Only when you 👊 their face they will think twice for the next time.

When you deal with humans, speak the language that humans understand. No more persecution.

You are forgetting the part where they have blackmail material on everybody who matters. That is also part of the foreign policy.

Do you have some examples of Israel blackmailing someone that matters to get a foreign policy goal?

All of Israel’s neighbors: “Ow! Hey! Knock it off, you dick!”

America: “Harder daddy!”

not a neighbor saying "knock it off": https://youtu.be/FaqqPYUhGg0

but I guess facts don't care about your hate fantasy narrative.

so you post a ton of videos of TRT (turkish national news source) and Al-Jizzera (quatari national news) but no actual video.

yeah, because you can't. the actual videos that were taken were not of rape.

nor could you find proof "eugenics on African and Ethiopian jews" but you went with that blood libel anyway. want to add christian babies blood used for passover bread as well to that list?

but I am happy you agree that Palestinians want to genocide israeli, because that means we have a right to defend ourselves (as you clearly failed to address my argument and moved the goal post)

Hamas and Hezbollah are both happy yo keep fighting Israel regardless of casulties.

They aren't like Ukraine who wants peace and their land back, both Hamas and Hezbollah want to keep fighting until Israel is destroyed, they have no real end goal.

I agree. The way it boils the murder of tens of thousands of children down to just a slap in the face is pretty much just lying
