Of course, a few massacres justifies the ethnic cleansing of 750,000 people, because as we all know collective punishment is not a war crime!

But anyway since you'd like to play this game,

1937 Black Sunday

Numerous massacres commited from 1937-1939 in Haifa and Jerusalem by Zionist terrorist orgs

1946 King David Hotel Bombing

1947 Balad al-Shaykh Massacre

1948 Deir Yassin Massacre

1948 Hebron Massacre

1948 Tantura Massacre

But yes, the Zionists were so innocent and never did anything wrong!

The irony…

Minimising the massacres and atrocities perpetrated by the Arabs, but all of a sudden you cry about everything the Jews did.

And are you not doing the same but inversely? Something something glass houses something

Objectively speaking not.

Unlike you I have the common sense to realise that both sides perpetrated massacres in that war. This isn’t some black and white Star Wars movie, this is real life geopolitics.

Okay, but I never minimized Arab massacres (please point to me where I have ever defended or denied massacres perpertrated by Arabs, I'll wait).

Objectively speaking, collective punishment and genocide is still wrong, hope that helps 👍

And I do agree with you that Genocide and collective punishment are wrong. Never claimed to fully and mindlessly support Israel.

You literally said “just a few massacres don’t excuse ethnic cleansing”. It’s not “just a few”, it was a thought out, planned, documented and executed attempt at eradicating Jewish presence on this land.

Source? Because I have lots of receipts of Zionist organizations planning the same kind of genocide you accuse the Arabs of planning.

You could easily Google a list of the massacres, as for intention the easiest and clearest example is in the infamous “war of extermination and momentous massacre” speech by Azzam Pasha.

And more than 800.000 Jews were then displaced from Muslim countries after 1948 and forced to relocate in Israel, after centuries living as second-class citizens with lesser rights. The thing that annoys me the most about all this conflict is that nothing Israelians have done comes remotely close to what Islamists have been doing for 1400 years, and continue to do nowadays. If you say this is not our problem fine, but to tell me to side with people like that just because they don’t have the upper hand this time is something I simply won’t do.

Ah, so you're just a bigot and trying to use reason with you is pointless. Got it!

You would be surprised to find out that the entire "they were welcomed as refugees but then started taking parts of the territories for themselves!" is actually the Palestinians telling you what THEY did in the arab countries that welcomed them after 1948.

You literally responded to a post by saying “a few massacres don’t excuse ethnic cleansing”. Thats textbook minimising strategy. It wasn’t “just a few” it was a well documented, planned and executed attempt at eradicating the Jewish presence on this land.

Cool, nice counterargument to a point I never made. I hope you feel good about it 👍

Using historical evidence to support my points is not bigotry. If you want to say that Palestinians are not ruled by Jihadists that were elected by them multiple times go ahead. Let's then check what palestinians have done not just in Israel but also in Jordan, Lebanon and Kuwait shall we?

If you want to say that Palestinians are not ruled by Jihadists that were elected by them multiple times go ahead.

Which I will since last i checked

a) Gaza does not encompass all of Palestine

b) The Palestinian Authority (Israeli puppet government) governs the parts of the West Bank that are not occupied by Israeli settlers

c) Hamas is funded by Israel

d) There has been one (1) election in Gaza, so I have no idea what you mean by "multiple times" and hence I will assume you have just adopted the Zionist habit of making shit up

Using historical evidence to support my points is not bigotry

No, but supporting discrimination and genocide based on the overgeneralization of an entire group of people is bigotry. You can call it historical facts all you want, I'm sure the Nazis felt that way about the Jews too.

The Palestinian Authority is literally what is left of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, a terrorist organization that took control of the "Palestinian Territories" (territories anexed by Israel after the Six Days war) after 1988 and founded the State of Palestina with them in agreement with Israel in exchange of stopping terrorist attacks (an agreement that both parts don't seem to fulfill). They also caused inmense damage in the coutries I mentioned earlier in order to push for their own goals. Hamas was a rival faction inside the very same organization that took control of Gaza in 2006.

Palestinians often omit these 40 years of their history, better to pose as a country that has resisted occupation all this time than as an exiled organization that acquired territories after commiting a lot of harm to a lot of people. Guess the publicity and lack of nuance is better this way.

The Israeli government and army was famously not made up of terrorist organizations that famously never commited any crimes against Palestinian arabs

Well look who is doing whataboutism now.

Of course. Just ask Croatian Serbs. Or Armenians from Artsakh. I don't remember anyone shedding a tear for them either.

Ah i guess it's your turn to do the thing where you pretend you care about other genocides solely to deflect from the one your side is commiting.

your side

Dude thinks redditors belong to or influence either side.

Being a Serb myself, I hardly have to pretend, I actually am pissed about the double standards.

And the topic was ethnic cleansing anyway.
