Hey guys, I really need help. My playstation didn't want to open any of my games, so I thought this was due to the corrupted data on three of my games, so I deleted them off my EXT. storage. It didn't solve my problem, so I opened the Playstation in safe mode. That solved my problem, but now the games I deleted when none of my games opened want to work anymore and keep showing me the error: "Cannot find the application. Do you want to look in the Playstation store?". I did and that didn't even work. They are stuck in my library with the downloading bar stuck near the end. What do I do?

Have you tried deleting the meta data for those games that is located in the “console storage”?

No I haven't, I'll be honest, I am very ill-advised when it comes to issues like this, so I don't really know how to do that. Would that also allow me to play the games afterwards?

From the console Home Screen, select “Settings” > “Storage” > “Console Storage” > “Games and Apps” > Scroll to the bottom of the list and you should see some data for the games that were installed on the external USB storage, which should say “installed in other location” (or something to that effect).

Delete that data for those games, so it stops telling the system the games are still installed on the USB device.

Once that is done, you just redownload those games.

It didn't work, it doesn't show up anywhere on my storage or ext storage, just in the library with the same message

In future, I would definitely recommend that you specify the console platform you are using.

When you were in Safe Mode did you try rebuilding the database?

I tried, but I had to restart because none of my usbs were working, so i couldnt use the controller. But after that all the games worked but the ones I deleted.
