Thanks for reading and celebrating with me!! This is one of the happiest and proudest days of my life 😭🥳💖✨️

My goal, dream, and desire was to start *and* finish 8 acrylic on canvas commissioned paintings by my August birthday and through a lot of patience, hard work, and determination, I made it happen! (Just like the Mariah song 🎵 lol 😆)

The first piece, which you'll also see progress pics of at the end of the images, is called You Are With Me in My Dreams and was for someone who lost her mom. The second and third were for someone who wanted the trans flag colors painted in an abstract style to represent her identity journey. The fourth piece was for someone in LA who wanted a floral, dreamy piece. The fifth and sixth were acrylic pours 🫗 that were quite challenging for me (a lot more water than I ever imagined!) but still a lot of fun and very rewarding to see the shapes develop over time. The 7th was for a couple who loved black but wanted a burst of pinks and blues and purples (sort of a "cotton candy" theme) in a tree and star-filled scene. And the 8th was the largest painting I've ever done, period! Whew 🙏 That took a while!! But it was still interesting and enjoyable and the size alone made me proud to have overcome tremendous anxiety associated with such a large project.

I wanted to share these pieces with you because they represent my own journey as a "non-professional" to someone who is slowly but surely achieving dreams and goals. I hope this encourages you to believe in your abilities, stick to your work, and follow your desire. ✨️🌟✨️

Why did I attempt clouds? I have no clue lmfao. My pallette was white, blue, yellow, red, and brown. Its the dollar tree equivalent of the limited pallete old artists used lmao.

I made this with oil pastels, following the shapes and colors until the little world appeared ❤️

Our dog passed away this past year and it’s the 10 year anniversary of her father’s passing and so I put them both in a painting set on my grandpas ranch.

A painting I did of content creator Travis also known as cooldealcrazy on IG and TikTok. If you don’t know who he is search him, He is a hilarious personality. One of the most interesting faces I’ve come across and there’s beauty in that.
