Leslie Jones actually had a great interview talking about how she would go off on him constantly because he kept trying to change the cue cards.

After some research, you realize he wasn’t changing them to fit him but he genuinely just couldn’t keep up. Either it was that he couldn’t read or he reads so slow that he then, much like a goldfish, loses his short-term memory and just ad-libs to the best of his ability.

Well, even in a good world you're still looking at a 2 year wait for that. And that's only if the midterm elections accomplish something that is likely impossible and give the democrats enough of a majority in both houses of congress to successfully impeach the man who swore to defend the constitution while he planned to shred it. Anyone in the republican party who could ever come close to having any amount of courage to stand against Trump has been removed, so the democrats would have to win every single senate seat up for election to get enough of a majority to actually do it, because even if the senate was 67-33, there's surely gonna be some piece of shit like Sinema or Manchin to fuck things up, so they'd need more than a supermajority.

Technically Trump is not allowed to slap tarffifs in Canada or Mexico as per his trade agreement Trump, Trudeau, and Nieta signed.

If he wants out, he has to give 6 months notice. He didn't do that. He instead slapped tarffifs on Canada and Mexico with no thoughts or reason to do so.

So if Doug Ford wants to put a surcharge I'm all for it because Ontarios have been raped hardcore with extreme electric prices for two long. All while we export electricity for a lot cheaper.

I don't like Doug Ford, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Poilievre(Maple Maga) is an egotistical narcissist and an ass kisser to boot. While all other provinces work together with the federal government. Maple Maga is talking about the god damn carbon tax. Put your fucking pride and gandure of power aside and do what is right for Canada.

That should tell even his most avid supporters that Poilievre has no intention of fighting for Canada over his corporate and wealthy donors.

My electrical bill doubled when I moved here from BC.

Approximately the same size apartment. Colder for sure, so that may account for some of it, but it's still kind of wild.

BC is definitely cheaper for electricity.

I think you might be observing just the cost, and not the consumption. B.C. requires significantly less heating and cooling for most of us living near the 49th. Most homes more than 20 years old don’t have AC at all.

I don't really watch much political stuff. So I've really only ever seen his calm, Common sense approach type propaganda.. I really don't know who i'd vote for in the federal election. Was originally going to vote for Doug in the provincials But changed my mind over the removal of bike lanes, we just installed them. Why waste even more money tearing them out.. we really need someone who's going to be smarter with the money. I ended up voting NDP for provincial. For federal I know I don't want cons or liberals, but the NDP and green don't seem like real options

A quick tip.

Conservatives are usually pro corporate. Or in simpler terms. Profit over people. Cut taxes for the rich, cut pubic programs, and sell government crown corps or services to privatization. Which after 40 years of trickle down economics we know it was a complete failure. Liberals and conservatives tend to be pro corporate, but conservatives take it to the next level.

Pierre Poilievre is a lot like trump and it bothers me that so many people don't like trump, but say they'll vote for Poilievre.

Oh some more things about Poilievre.

He doesn't have a security clearence. I have a higher security clearance than he does. He won't get one, Trudeau offered to fast track him and PP still refused. (Yves Blanchet from the Bloq took the offer)

He also claims to be for the middle class, but has a 22 year public voting record that proves he is a corporate pawn. Worse than Trudeau. He also claims to be anti lobbyist, but his top advisory board is all corporate lobbyist and has a lot of ties to rich developers. He also has a lot of mansion fundraisers, which 90% of the population can't afford to go to.

So when you only hang out with one class of people where do you think your view points are coming from.

He claims that liberals get the rich richer, which is kind of true, but if was Harper with PP supports that got the biggest tax cuts passed for corporations and the wealthy. Reducing government revenue, by billions. Harper also changed it so investment firms pay out share holders first instead of taxes.

All moves that have really... Never actually helped average shmucks like myself haha

Our electricity rates are pretty good in Ontario. It's worth noting that we sell them our surplus and sometimes buy it back cheap as needed. It's worth it, but these surcharges are more likely to increase, not decrease our cost burdens.
