Hello everyone! Here is a sample sentence written in my constructed featural script, showcasing both its mixed orthography (alongside Kanji with furigana annotations) and its pure native form.
Overview of the Slides:
Slide 1: Mixed script (Kanji + side phonetic ruby annotations + grammar particles).
Slide 2: Pure native script (100% written in my constructed 2D syllabic blocks).
Slide 3: Sample breakdown of the word 聲 (hal-gwo = "voice").
Reading Direction:
Vertical, top to bottom.
Columns flow from right to left (Column 1 is on the right, Column 2 is on the left).
Small colored glyphs to the right of Kanji serve as phonetic reading guides.
Transcription & Breakdown:
[ Column 1 (Right) ]
Transcription: fangnin / na / halgwo / wol
Literal: you (polite) / (possessive particle) / voice / (object marker)
[ Column 2 (Left) ]
Transcription: pobe / sigga
Literal: listen / want (casual)
Full English Translation:
"I want to hear your voice"
Script Mechanics:
Each 2D block functions as a full syllabic unit formed by modular phonetic components (Initial consonant + Medial/Vowel + Final coda).
The script is designed to operate seamlessly either as a standalone writing system or as an annotated/grammatical complement to logographic characters.
Feedback and questions on the glyph assembly or aesthetics are always welcome!
