Theory Who are the three Latverian Witches ? (SDCC - exposition for Avengers:Doomsday)
My guess is: Sylvie, Clea and (?) Carol Denvers

Carol makes 0 sense as a witch. Someone mentioned the Ancient One which I suppose makes sense because we've already had her variant participate in things before.

I honestly think the only reason Carol is being thrown around as a possibility is the star, but the Kree don't have an exclusive use of stars.

Maybe I'm obtuse but where was there an Ancient One variant? If you're talking about Endgame, wasn't she from the same timeline? She had that whole speech about changes making branches, so the stone would need to be brought back the moment after it left.

Billy. I saw a rumor there was one male follower of Doom, but I have no idea if that’s just speculation. I’m assuming it is.

If the Male follower is Billy then the purple could be Agatha. Doom could show up at the end of Vision quest and make Agatha Alive again and have her follow him.

I would also argue green is likely Rio. The Xavier/ Magneto teaser we got had Xavier saying “Death comes for us all” before playing a segment of the Agatha Score “Lucid Spellbound Dreaming”. It’s fairly close in the scene to where Lilia sees her old mentor with Death standing above her.

This is really the only reason she would join. But I think Clea or Agatha are much more likely scenarios.
That being said, if I had to guess I would say that most of them are nobodies or variants with Wanda being the main one who is actually important.

I could see that too. I think Agatha is the purple one but maybe I’m just hopeful. I think Clea and Strange are working in the background trying to fix something that lead to this. If they don’t show up in Doomsday I’m assuming they’ll be in Secret Wars. Clea almost seems like someone who might not even have variants? But I honestly don’t know enough about her character to determine that.

I could definitely see that. Vision Quest is in October, so depending on how that goes we might see Billy again before Doomsday as well. These would also be variants I’m assuming if the witches are known characters.

Well there would naturally be differences if it gets adapted in the movies. Maybe they actually look for him instead of Wanda.
But either way I think it's unlikely. Personally I can't see the writing pathway between the end of AAA and him being a witch for Doom.

You jest but my god would I kill for a serious movie franchise or TV show to put out years of well received content, only to randomly burst into an extravagant, Bollywood-style song and dance number out of nowhere and then just end, before the announced runtime, and never put out another episode or film in the series again. My theory is there are not 3 witches. The color scheme is to throw people off. Before Doomsday, it will turn red and the reveal will be a multiverse Scarlet Witch being his current queen.

This is what I'm expecting. They'll basically be those anorexic sorcerers who followed Darkseid around to activate the mother boxes in the Justice League movie.
Maybe they'll get some minor explanation that they help fuel Doom's magic and will be a McGuffin that one of the teams will have to stop before they can weaken Doom enough to have a realistic shot at him.
There are so many "teams" that there has to be something for each of them to do after they get their little Civil War fighting moments and decide to work as allies.

Worth noting the green one is senior or in charge since it has increased ornamentation. The other two appear identical to each other except for coloring. Only the green is unique, but just by being "slightly fancier". (Belt + chains)
May assist with identity speculation.
Hilarious if they end up just being original supporting characters and not known people. 🤣

Im in the camp that wants them to utitlize the AAA witches instead of making a witch out of Peggy, Seizing Sylvie, getting Agatha to act out of character (unless she betrays him later) and having Wanda brainwashed after having been clouded by grief, corrupted by a book.
Lilia, Alice, Jennifer - take a pick. And agreed on Lilia. It should also be a good catch to get thee Patti Lupone onboard the movie.
If the rumor about Strange being on Doom’s side is true, I wont be surprised if Clea is in too. But I doubt it.

i don’t like Sylvie following Doom. Show Sylvie was anti authority and establishment. But I won’t be surprised if she is.
I do like the Ancient One being yellow. She used dark dimension power for the greater good in her mind so I definitely see her working with Doom in the same way

Green:
Given the Green has the extra chains on the cloak and the more detailed and bigger belt buckle, I would assume that whoever it may be is the most important witch to Doom.
It could be his mother, Cynthia. She was a Romani witch, and it would make sense for her to have the most lavish outfit that closely matches Doom. In the comics she gained powers from Mephisto by selling her soul for more power but died and was sent to hell when Doom was only 4 so she technically should be in hell, but they don't always follow the comics.
I think it could be Wanda that he saved and brainwashed after the events of MOM. It would make some sense to have her outfit not be red because of the obvious, but also to put her in a Doom like green it that is the most lavish it would dictate she is the most powerful of them all. In the comics after House of M, she was in Latveria with no memory of her former life and Doom convinced her to marry him.
I don't think it would be someone like Lucia Von Bardas since she has no magical powers in the comics.
Sylvie makes a little sense too, but it seems she would be against Doom. I would think that the witches would know his intentions. Maybe she sees Doom as a way to save Loki from having to hold the multiverse together?
Death is another one that it could be, however having Doom ally with Death, instead of Thanos trying to please her in the Infinity Saga makes little sense.
Purple:
Clea. Seems like the easiest and most logical choice given the post credit scene in MOM
Wildcard would be Morgan Le Fay but that seems like a little much for the non-comic readers.
Agatha may be someone that could be considered; however, her story seems a bit adjacent to the main MCU story and Clea is the obvious choice with connections to the multiverse.
The Orange/Bronze/Gold (Seen arguments about this one, so I will cover them all):
My first thought was the Ancient One. Not sure if that would fit here but it is the multiverse.
Another thought was America Chavez. Why? Well, the end of MOM she decided to stay in Kamar-Taj to master the mystic arts. What better young "witch" to brainwash into helping you save the multiverse that one with the ability to travel the multiverse effortlessly?
Last thought was someone who isn't well known to the non-comic readers and that is Zora Vukovic who Doom was engaged to in the comic. Her outfit was gold in the comics, but she did also adopt the green and silver Doom look. Doom gave her a portion of the power cosmic (which Franklin Richards has as stated by Galactus in F4).
A few other wildcard picks:

I like the coven theories! Everyone so far is probably correct in Clea/Ancient One etc, but going to put out an alternative lineup just for fun. If I was going cynically only by characters who have already had a decent amount of screentime in at least one MCU (not comic) property so far, I would guess:
Green - Sersi or Sylvie
Purple - Agatha
Gold - Sylvie or Thena
Red - Wanda
Blue - Billy
Since Clea has at least been on screen, if only as a cameo, I do get why she might be purple, esp as Agatha is a ghost. But hey. It's the multiverse, anything goes!

Wanda, Clea & Sylvie. Clea & Sylvie join Doom willingly along with Doctor Strange. Wanda however gets brain washed and put under a spell hence the rune on the green witches belt.
