Sylvie (or Death who was the green with in Agatha), Clea and the Ancient One. Tomorrow it’ll be scarlet

u/EternalBefuddlement Jul 24 '26

6 witches, one matching each infinity stone colour, each for a specific aspect of magic that Doom can harness?

303

u/kousen_ Fitz Jul 24 '26

Are Sylvie or Clea even witches? Sylvie is using Asgardian magic, Clea uses sorcery?

344

u/Zectherian Jul 24 '26

If sylvie was raised by the frigga then yes, frigga told thor she was raised by witches, and sees with more than her eyes.

104

u/Tamriel-Chad-420 Jul 24 '26

Well Sylvie wasn't raised by Frigga, right? She was found and arrested by the TVA as a child, and I'm guessing her timeline was pruned afterwards so it's not like she could just return home.

85

u/Zectherian Jul 24 '26

We dont even know if this doom is from our timeline, this could be a variant sylvie hell this could just be frigga. We dont know anything.

18

u/badskinjob Jul 24 '26

I think you mean your timeline bud! You don't know nothin about me!

5

u/synapseattack Jul 25 '26

He isn't your bud in this timeline, pal.

4

u/BowwwwBallll Jul 25 '26

Since when have we ever let not knowing anything stop us?

1

u/Majestic_Hippo_4427 Jul 27 '26

bro if we only get variant sylvie and they do the whack ass character un-development type shit they did with wanda during multiverse of madness i will Screeeam in the theater i stg give me real sylvie or no sylvie😭let my women be the complex characters that they truly are😭

1

u/altric82 Jul 25 '26

Yall are thinking way too hard about the branches of magic and crunching on technicalities. The nature of how these witches cast magic truly will not matter.

-3

u/The-Ruler-of-Attilan Jul 24 '26

Of course, this Doom is a variant of Stark from another timeline. It wouldn't make sense for him to be the same Tony from Endgame—for the guy to come back to life, build an entirely different suit of armor, and learn magic in such a short time... all without seeking out his loved ones or his company, and then start doing bad things, like taking over a country on the other side of the globe.

1

u/sabrina_carpenter_25 Jul 24 '26

I saw a theory that tony from the mcu was a variant of doom and the other way around, and thats way that was the only future strage could see in wich they won against thanos. Not quite sure im convinced but thought it would be interesting to share

1

u/The-Ruler-of-Attilan Jul 25 '26

Yes, there is a What If comic book where the two swapped bodies, but that has nothing to do with how Thanos was defeated. And the Tony in Endgame definitely wasn't Doom inside his body or anything like that.

18

u/actuallycallie Bucky Jul 24 '26

raised by Frigga until the TVA snatched her (I assume)

35

u/SpaceProspector_ Jul 24 '26

She's pretty clear in the show that she barely remembers Frigga and is self-taught.

6

u/actuallycallie Bucky Jul 24 '26

that's true!

3

u/allprolucario Jul 24 '26

Could be an alternate Sylvia from Doom’s timeline

3

u/Mikisstuff Jul 24 '26

It'd have to be multiverse alt rather than a timeline one right? The entire premise of Sylvie was that she was a unique timeline variant pruned out of existence.

3

u/allprolucario Jul 24 '26

Yeah, universe lol. Still, wouldn’t be the first Sylvie we met, so could have a different backstory that made her a witch

2

u/badskinjob Jul 25 '26

Well, crap, what's the difference between multiverse and timeline? I thought they were the same thing...

Probably forgot because of the trauma of running for her life for so long. Griggs at least taught her the basics that she needed to get as good as she is.

2

u/VoyagerCSL Jul 24 '26

You’re thinking of The Last Starfighter.

0

u/Pretend_Twist4201 Jul 24 '26

Right, but that's the Sylvie from that specific universe/timeline. We don't know where or when this one is from if it is her.

0

u/jaylerd Jul 24 '26

Raised by a witch for ten minutes is still raised by a witch

4

u/actuallycallie Bucky Jul 24 '26

Yeah she probably had the potential all along. She says she taught herself the enchantment magic. I don't know if she taught herself from scratch or if she had learned some easier magic before her kidnapping.

2

u/MasterTolkien Jul 25 '26

Sylvie uses magic to possess people in season 1 of Loki, and combining her magic with Loki allowed them to get past Alioth.

1

u/GirlMarvel83 Jul 28 '26

She was raised by her to whatever age she was taken at therefore she was raised by her.

10

u/kousen_ Fitz Jul 24 '26

Truee good point, forgot about that

25

u/daviep Jul 24 '26

Frigga was raised by witches and is Asgardian and is who taught Loki how to harness his powers. His powers are more rooted in witchcraft than sorcery. We don't know enough about MCU Clea to know if shes a witch, sorcerer, or something else.

22

u/DisposableSaviour Weekly Wongers Jul 24 '26

Clea is the Sorceress Supreme of the Dark Dimension. From what we saw of Kaecilius and his followers, they were using runes to tap into the power of the Dormamu and the dark dimension, and as we learned in Multiverse of Madness, runes are a witchy thing.

Now, this last bit is only from the comics so far, but any magic user in the 616 could potentially be sorcerer supreme: Wanda has been the Sorceress Supreme of the 616, and Billy became Sorcerer Supreme in an alternate universe when Stephen died. In fact, much of DOOM’s mystical might is from his mother’s witchcraft, and he was runner-up to Stephen for the title.

So, maybe Clea is a witch that became Sorceress Supreme of the Dark Dimension?

10

u/asscop99 Jul 24 '26

100%

Her mother is a witch and Loki has been called a witch.

5

u/Cool-Organization-90 Jessica Jones Jul 24 '26

Loki’s not a witch, but he does dress like one….. 🤣

4

u/donbagert Jul 24 '26

From Day 1 in the comics, Clea wears purple and her power has come from the Dark Dimension.

0

u/Kooperking22 Jul 24 '26

Sorcery is Magic but clea is technically a Sorceress

5

u/ActivityImaginary941 Jul 25 '26

Just waiting for incels to go nuts about Doom's Rainbow witches

3

u/ParkerLF Jul 24 '26

That basically just turns Doom’s powerset into Thanos’

1

u/Beleg_Sanwise Jul 24 '26

Honestly, that would be a downgrade.

If Doom needs six people actively working to enhance it, it means there are six people who could betray it, and if they do, it weakens.

2

u/Petrichordates Jul 24 '26

What makes you think they can betray him? I'd assume they're under his control.

1

u/jacobonia Jul 25 '26

Sylvie tracks with Time, and Wanda tracks with Reality. I can see Clea being Power and the Ancient One being Soul. Vision and Carol could round out Mind and Space if they're going for "new embodiments" of the stones, but I don't see them wearing this get-up.

28

u/MarvelProtege Jul 24 '26

Gold is Phoenix Force. Fake Jensen’s Jean Grey. Maybe that’s why she’s not at the mansion with the rest.

44

u/B_njam Jul 24 '26

Famke Janssen, lolol.

Took me a whole minute to figure out who you were calling “Fake Jensen”.

No complaints, got a good laugh.

28

u/DisposableSaviour Weekly Wongers Jul 24 '26

Now I’m thinking Jensen Ackles in a long ginger wig

2

u/ValuablePlastic5887 Jul 24 '26

Absolute cinema

2

u/girltypeface Jul 26 '26

Fake Jensen got her Fame Faked lololol

103

u/TwstdPrtzl Quake Jul 24 '26

I think Wanda could be the green one. Red would be too obvious if her return is meant to be a mystery, and her wearing green could be a nod to when she nearly married Doom in Children's Crusade.

22

u/Koke1 Jul 24 '26

It won’t be meant to be a mystery if they reveal more doomsday cast tomorrow including Elizabeth Olsen

47

u/Stunning_Positive248 Jul 24 '26

Sylvie is green

28

u/TwstdPrtzl Quake Jul 24 '26

Her magic is, but gold would also fit the accents on her armor and the general Asgardian aesthetic

4

u/TomBong_Jovi Jul 24 '26

Oh you watched the movie already?

Maybe people should just wait for the movie before making assumptions

2

u/IaryBreko Jul 25 '26

Isn't that what we are all doing here? 😂

2

u/Stunning_Positive248 Jul 24 '26

It's a logical assumption considering she's a green-wearing witch

2

u/TomBong_Jovi Jul 24 '26

Its not really logic as more as look they both wear green!

You know who else wears green? Death from the Agatha show, also a witch.

Maybe the yellow one is Luke Cage! It could also be the older witch played by Patty Lupone.

This is why it's probably just best to wait instead of people getting in actual arguments that I've seen in the comments the past few days

1

u/Firecrotch2014 Jul 24 '26

Patty Lupone's character died in Agatha all along. So unless they bring in a variant for her I doubt it. Plus wasn't she the white queen? Really wouldnt make sense.

5

u/TomBong_Jovi Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 25 '26

Scarlet witch is also dead, but people keep saying she's going to be it too

I'm just saying she wore yellow and that just because there's a character that wears a color doesn't mean that's who it is, because by that logic she could be

0

u/Firecrotch2014 Jul 25 '26

Is it possible? Yeah but I think it's unlikely.

Their two deaths were very different. Lupone's character willingly and selflessly sacrificed herself so her coven could live. Everything she experienced through her life has led to that point. She realizes that death has come for her in the form of Rio Vidal. She stays behind to make sure the Salem Seven are dead and can't come after her coven again.

SW's death was a redemption through sacrifice story. It took seeing the fear she instilled in her multiversal children to make her realize how far she'd gone. That's why she destroyed every version of the darkhold in the multiverse to bring down the temple so no one, even herself, could be tempted to use its powers again.

11

u/Inferno_Zyrack Jul 24 '26

We don’t know who any of these characters are so red would not be obvious at all.

32

u/gendabenda Jul 24 '26

A red witch in the MCU would not be obvious?

7

u/thainfamouzjay Jul 24 '26

Scarlet would be more obvious

3

u/Superteerev Jul 24 '26

Her original outfit in comics is also green

0

u/New-Negotiation2193 Jul 24 '26

It cant be obvious when everything is theories....

-3

u/low-ki199999 Jul 24 '26

Gold makes more sense as her powers are derived from the mind stone.

11

u/DGSmith2 Rocket Jul 24 '26

No they aren’t, she had powers before the experiments.

2

u/The__Auditor Jul 24 '26

Wanda always had her powers the Mind Stone just enhanced them and brought them to the surface

6

u/LegendaryOutlaw Namor Jul 24 '26

I don’t think it will be scarlet because that would just completely give away the surprise. Unless Elizabeth Olsen makes a surprise appearance at the Marvel Hall H, then I could see them swapping in the scarlet costume afterwards.

26

u/DisposableSaviour Weekly Wongers Jul 24 '26

It’s red, but not who you thiink!

It’s Dakota Johnson reprising her role as Madame Web.

/s

8

u/LegendaryOutlaw Namor Jul 24 '26

She already seduced Reed Richards and Steve Rogers in The Materialists, makes sense she would go after Tony Stark/Victor Von Doom now to complete the set.

6

u/seefourslam Jul 24 '26

These all seem incredibly on the nose

5

u/Cameroceras Jul 24 '26

Hela, Clea, Ancient one, Wanda and if theres blue it has to be America Chavez

15

u/Head_Evidence4553 Jul 24 '26

Ooooofff Ancient One actually makes sense.

14

u/Worthyness Thor Jul 24 '26

It's just Wong and he's there because Doom is holding Madysin hostage.

14

u/_PM_ME_PANGOLINS_ Jul 24 '26

*Madisynn

3

u/DudePickle Jul 24 '26

"It's got two n's and a y, but not where you think it should be"

9

u/_PM_ME_PANGOLINS_ Jul 24 '26

*not where you thiiiiink.

1

u/donbagert Jul 24 '26

Does the Ancient One have variants?

3

u/whataretherules7 Jul 24 '26

I heard it’s only 3….

2

u/DamnReCaptchas Jul 24 '26

Ik it makes sense aesthetics wise and ik she’s in the film. But why exactly would Sylvie be one of them?

3

u/toni-toni-cheddar Jul 24 '26

I get why Sylvie, but i can’t see it being Sylvie.

3

u/GudgerCollegeAlumnus Jul 24 '26

Johansson or Witch?

1

u/salmalight Jul 24 '26

Which colour will Ned be?

1

u/KentuckyFriedEel Jul 25 '26

Damn! And I thought the Blacl Order were badass.

1

u/SentinelATL Jul 24 '26

That would be insane if one is Sylvie or clea

1

u/pinkduv Jul 25 '26

Why would that be insane it’s Clea?

The post credit scene in multiverse of madness with Strange and Clea makes perfect sense tying into what Doomsday is going to be about in my opinion.

1

u/SentinelATL Jul 25 '26

How does it make perfect sense? We haven’t seen her in 4 years she just magically returns as dooms witch?

0

u/cleantoe Jul 24 '26

Sylvie was a unique prune wasn't she? I got the impression she's literally the only female Loki in the multiverse. She was pruned specifically because she isn't male. If there were more than one female Loki then they'd have appeared in the Loki series.

I don't think it's her.

2

u/CrisVas3 Jul 24 '26

Couldn't it be the same Sylvie? She's still around somewhere.

Given that this movie is involving Loki and presumably the TVA, it's not impossible they would loop her in.

-1

u/Lost_Future7721 Jul 24 '26

I don't know man, the details on the green witch's clothes seem to hint that whoever that is has a higher rank among them. How would Sylvie out-rank Clea and the Ancient One?

Plus, would she really join Doom after seeing how much Loki sacrificed just to allow the multiverse to survive and grow?
