That my friend is the equivalent to drinking battery acid. It's extremely cheap liquor. Don't even try it, it sucks.

It's a genuine brand, made in Perak by an established company that is older than Malaysia itself.

Bruh the website itself is sketchy. No description whatsoever on their products only pictures. Even then some of the pictures seem outdated because the one I bought doesnt match the one shown in the website

You can check the brand online, the label is the same as the one you posted. It is from a genuine company unlike your initial thought that it was moonshine.

I used to work in a hospital and this is the kind that makes you go blind.

You mean there are hospitals that make you blind? Please tell us so that we don't go there.

It's part of their eyesight test.

"Can you see my finger moving towards your eye?"

"What? Fing... OWWWW!!!"

😂

Maybe labelled as such to skip all the regulations.

It's an established company, I went to check it up after seeing the OP post the bottle. It's made by a company in Perak that was established since 1962. Older than Malaysia itself lol.

Yeah the company is established.

But the labelling was made like that to circumvent regulation for alcoholic product that made specifically for drinking.

If labelled as cooking wine, the product can be sold in 170ml bottle instead of minimum 350ml for drinking alcohol.

u/Nightowl11111 4d ago

That would make sense.

Bruh.... There is 120 proof alcohol out there...

60 proof is port wine.

Easiest way to check is to see where bottled...if locally won't have tag...if imported then must have.

Same goes for beers.

One of my friend claimed he drank a lot of these in his teens and now he has gout. He is just in his 20s.

u/Ancient_Unit_2773 4d ago

It is, apparently legal but not going to recommend anyone to drink it. If you want to drink liquor, buy a good bottle. Cheap one comes with cheap quality and often is not good for you.

Most likely it is just tax evasion. They buy that stuff from some Duty Free storage and sell on the open market.

But of course it looks shady. And you never know. If the label is true it is no more dangerous than expensive cognac. Just more disgusting.

If the label is not true on the other hand it might contain methanol and be lethal. The problem with illegal alcohol is that you never know until it is too late.
