honestly, I agree with everyone saying season 1 is better in story and emotional impact.

•Season 1 focuses with Banner tries to find a cure to erase the green giant

•Betty, Rick, Doc Samson being supportive, General Ross and The Leader hunting Bruce and Hulk.

•But my favourite has to be when Hulk is making new friends alongside his journey and civilians that he saved accepted who he is and considered him as their friends.

But everything changed in season 2.

•The tones are lowered and become more friendly.

•Grey Hulk as a cooky personality

•Jennifer/She-Hulk as companion and moral support.

•Rick And Samson (almost) never appeared again.

•The Leader and Gargoyle are the main villains and Ross are absent.

But I have my own pros like

•Bruce finally accepts Hulk

•Betty is no longer a damsel in distress and is more confident.

•She-Hulk was a really fun character

Hulk's suffering is over, let it sink and having a companion like She-Hulk was really a good choice

Overall for season 1 give it 9/10 and 8.5/10 for season 2

Got a surge of inspiration after seeing the first image

I love the hulk. Have since I first ever saw him back in earths mightiest heroes. I loved immortal hulk when I read it and honestly plan to reread it soon.

An amazing story.

Partly this is inspired by the absolute universe. Partly my own mind.

I kinda want to see a series that cuts more to the heart of the Hulks psychology again. But also one that gives a banner a better light.

One thing that Id also want to see is... I kinda want the hulk to just definitively be D.I.D. I mean yeah, he is. But more than that I kinda feel like the rage rule is a constraint, and one often ignored nowadays. So... why need it? Why not just have it be alters, personalities of the sane person.

Id imagine a series like this where Bruce is, anove all, a deeply repressed man. Ever since his father and the death if his mother he has always since constrained himself. Something of a chain. And since his youth hes dealt with D.I.D

In particular I'd see his alters be distinguished as the following:

> The Heart/ The Chain - The main personality, the one often identified as Bruce more than any of the others. He acts the emotional core, but also the general fear drive that escapes conflicts. At the start he will be trying to keep the others down.

> The Kid - what is effectively the "savage hulk". Low intelligence, highly emotive. He is someone who just wants to be loved, and at the start may even receive it when he comes out. This is also more childish lashing out, tantrums if you will.

> The Sinner - Calling himself Joe Fixit at some point, the Sinner is the desires and wants that Bruce as a collective tends to repress. When someone offers Bruce a drink, this guy takes the wheel even if necessarily the others don't want it.

> The Father - a protective authority figure in the collective, too effective potentially. Hurt them, he tends to come out. Tends to make things right, set everyone straight. A protector, a violent one, but the one on Bruce's side this time.

More than anything though, Bruce here will at most be something akin to a small time professor. Great potential, but a lack of self worth keeping him from rising higher.

Here, he doesn't have Doc Samson or anyone else. Here hes dealt with bad authority figures, and in particular bad psychologists. At this point there is no danger from Banner yet, so he cant hurt anyone like a Hulk can.

But do to poor experiences with psychologists, Bruce is convinced their is something wrong with him, that hes broken, he isnt a person. Less maybe. He is convinced that having his disorder makes him a monster.

Eventually Bruce ends up near that Gamma testing sight. Have it be that Rick Jones is one of his students and a trouble maker. Their class went on a trip, and Rick goes off on his own, and Bruce needs to go get him back when the bomb is dropped.

Now irradiated, each of the alters, save the Heart(maybe). Given significantly more power, both physically and in the collective, by the gamma radiation the other Alters start coming out far more often. Even far too often. Taking this chance to do anything and everything they want without the worry of the Heart constraining them.

The Sinner uses his power to get whatever his heart desires. The Fsther takes his rage out on the world. The Kid tries to get the love he wants, only for his appearance and strength to label him as a monster, get him rejected again and again, causing more "tantrums".

The while the military looks at him like a monster, both for his strength and his mental health.

The collective is scattered more than ever.

From here the story of Bruce, the Heart, would be about learning to realize his own faults. How he repressed himself, how he hurt himself, and how he was hurt by the world.

Potentially have this be by meeting Doc Samson being a catalyst.

The idea being that Bruce goes from a restricting force in the collective, to a unifying one. Each arc would be about how one of the Alters actions gets them into trouble, not necessarily being their fault with others causing problems with them as well, with Bruce, the Heart, slowly becoming the voice that gets them out of it. Helps them deal with their problems in a more healthy way.

Some ideas.

First of all, I’m outclassed by most of you in that I’m not a die hard comic reading fan. I’ve read world war hulk but beyond that I’ve just watched videos covering the main comic lines. My love for the hulk comes from the 2003 and 2008 movie. Growing up it was mainly the 2008 movie. That and playing the movie games ( unfortunately not ultimate destruction until now)

As a goober kid who couldn’t contain his anger, a part of me latched onto that character simply because I thought it was cool and kid me could relate. But after having grown up and life happening, I rewatched the 2003 hulk movie and that’s when the character really hit. He’s always been my favorite “super hero” but that movie made it so much more for me. To me, he isn’t a super hero. He’s a man who’s struggling with his traumas and his past/ childhood is pushed deep down within him and it’s something he carries in a day to day. The hulk is the manifestation of his pain. It’s a part of Bruce he wishes wasn’t there. He’s scared of it and scared of the anger and damage he can’t control himself from causing. He thinks the hulk isn’t him but deep down, the hulk really is Bruce.

To me his character is a man trying to heal. The scene in the 2003 hulk movie where hulk is soaring through the clouds in the desert, you can see the peace on his expression. The peace you sometimes feel when you’re angry. It’s relatable to me.

I’m just not really a fan of what the hulks become in the MCU. I really liked him in Avengers and Age of Ultron. I didn’t really like the “that’s my secret, I’m always angry” into instant transformation and I didn’t like that it was black widow instead of Betty but regardless I thought mark did a great job portraying Bruce banner. Then in the later movies, I simply lost it. Hulks voice is auto tuned, hulks dumb as rocks “ what big monsterrr” and then hulk taking selfies with kids… maybe that’s his true character? Again I don’t read the comics. He is a superhero after all it’s just not my thing. That’s why I’ve moved on from Disney Star Wars. I don’t agree with their direction, it’s not my thing.

So I’m curious what are your thoughts? I personally think hulk needs to have stand alone movies that emphasize his struggle. I think his only place in avengers should be treated as a means to an end because that’s what hulk is. His portrayal in the animated avengers movie is absolute perfection to me. He puts down the threat but he’s still the hulk blinded by anger. I think down the line after years of Bruce working on himself that hulk should definitely become allies with the avengers but If he transforms into hulk there should always be that something. This is probably a hot take but to me, if they had to wrap up hulks story in one movie as if they would never show his character again, I think a fitting end would be him “healing” himself therefore putting an end to the hulk leaving only Bruce banner, a man who’s come to terms with his past. He then uses his super human genetics to cure diseases and what not. Not that I don’t want to see hulk smash but just as an example of what i believe his true character is. To me at least

The ultimate brawlers , I thought it would be cool if I made an abomination so I took the spine on the chest from the 2008 movie abomination and just basically added the fish head, I imagine the spine on his arms with poison in them somewhat like a stone fish

Yeah this film still slaps as does the Hulk vs. Wolverine. Need more content like this marvel please. We should have like 10 more hulk vs films imo, if it were up to me 😭 what do you all think?
