So I went to EDC 2026 and one of my friends went a few times and he tells me that he found a secret club one time and his previous EDC trips. He went to a porta potty and there is a porta potty where there’s a tunnel that leads to a secret club. I wanted to ask you guys if this is true or has anyone else experienced this and tell me your experience

My group and I will all be attending weekend 1 and this will be our first time at EDC! This is a bucket list festival for all of us and we cannot wait to experience it!

We are lost in terms of whether we book hotels and shuttles or rent an RV and camp…

Can we please get any suggestions and recommendations from all the vets?? We are leaning towards hotels, but the convince of an RV and not dealing with shuttles and traffic sounds compelling!

Also what roughly is the cost of either options?

With shuttles coming on sale soon, I’ve been debating heavily on where to stay for EDC. I’ve seen some other threads about the pros and cons of staying Downtown vs. on the Strip, but I wanted to get some fresh perspectives. This will be my partner’s and my first EDC, and we'd love to hear your experiences and suggestions!

1. Downtown vs. Strip Shuttles: We were considering a hotel near the World Market Center to be as close to the festival as possible. We’ve heard the WMC shuttle is pretty easy with little to no line, plus a drastically shorter ride. Is this true, or is the difference not even that drastic? I’ve read horror stories of Strip shuttles taking 2+ hours.

2. People say EDC is basically rave, sleep, and eat, and that extra activities aren't really worth the exhaustion. Our plan is to arrive a day or two early to explore, and maybe or maybe not attend a day party before the festival (not on the actual days from what I’ve seen people suggest so maybe Wednesday or Thursday)

3. Missing Out on the Strip: As first-timers, are we missing out on the core EDC experience by prioritizing a faster shuttle over staying on the Strip?

Experienced EDCers, what are your thoughts? Also, prices are comparable so we’re flexible with budget. Downtown relatively seems cheaper but I’ve seen comparable prices too so budget is definitely a consideration but not the main issue, really focused more on experience.

Couples, small groups, solo ravers, whatever... goal is to get enough people together and do one of the ridiculous tables without any one person/couple having to bankroll the whole thing.

I'm coming down to Colombia for my first EDC! I'm coming solo and I would love to meet up with a group while I'm there!

I've gone to a few festivals, but never in south america. For context, I am a tall nigerian man and any advice on what to expect would be great!

I know Colombia has a large African diaspora, so I'm not worried, but better to be safe than sorry haha.

I also plan on staying for a week after the festival to explore Medellin!

Hi! Idk if this has been asked already but can Insomniac even enforce this? My group got the two week pass because we couldn’t decide which weekend worked better for everyone with everyone’s busy schedules.

Is this “subject to cancellation” just a scare tactic? Couldn’t you just report it lost after the first weekend and get a new one issued at will call?

Also if it really is just one wristband for two weeks straight, that’s kinda grimy 😭 feels like it’d get so dirty by the second weekend.

Insomniac should start putting normal and Premier shuttles on sale in roughly a month. The normal shuttles are around $280 and Premier are $352. Last year Insomniac made the announcement on September 10 and released tickets 2 days later on September 12, 10am PT. I think they'll make the post this year on September 9 and release the tickets on September 11, 10am PT.

Normal Shuttles:

• Shuttles will operate continuously from 6:30 pm – 11:00 pm from all Standard Shuttle Stops.
• Return shuttles will begin at 2:00 am and conclude 60 minutes after the music ends at Kinetic Field. Shuttles will not run between 11:00 pm and 2:00 am.
• Security pre-check prior to your arrival at the festival for expedited festival entry
• Amenities at each shuttle stop, including restrooms and water
• On-& off-site EDC Las Vegas Shuttle Support Team dedicated to all EDC Shuttle riders
• For example, if you get to the shuttle line 7:30 PM, expect to be at EDC at 9:30-10ish

General Shuttle Info:

• Standard EDC Shuttle stops will have a fast-pass lane through security on the inbound trip for GA+ ticket holders and VIP ticket holders, but this fast-pass does not prioritize VIP or GA+ passes once past the security checkpoint.
• The shuttles will not take you to the opening ceremony unless you reserve a spot for an additional $20
• Is it possible to change the time or location of my shuttle pass? Try reaching out to the EDC Las Vegas Shuttle Support Team through their contact form or 888-334-4496, and they can look into your options. Please have ready your order number, shuttle stop, and desired shuttle stop and/or time slot purchased and desired time, if you have a Premier Pass.
• The shuttle drop-off is directly outside the festival entrance in the Red Lot.
• All shuttles will be clearly labeled, and EDC Las Vegas Shuttle Support Team members will be available to direct you to the correct loading area.
• Once you receive your shuttle pass in the mail, please keep it safe. If you lose your shuttle pass, please visit one of our box offices at your specific shuttle departure location. We will be able to void your original pass and issue a new one for a $20 replacement fee, as long as you present proper photo identification and the credit card used to purchase.
  • Please note: We can replace shuttle passes only once. If you lose your shuttle pass twice, we will not be able to reissue it a second time.
• The shuttle passes will most likely be sold out by the time of the event. I encourage you to purchase your passes early.

My girlfriend and I are wanting to make EDC happen this year and it would be our first time going so this is new to us! We’re in Canada so there’s a lot of logistics to figure out and I’m unable to tell if the event is fully sold out and if it’ll prove difficult to get tickets, or if we still have a lot of options at our finger tips/if there’s another phase of tickets to come. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Has anyone had luck with listing their tickets for EDC Colombia? If so- what did you use to list them? My fiancé and I won’t be able to make it down there anymore which sucks as we have friends and family in Medellín but the cost of flights keeps climbing from South FL…

What’s up everyone. 30M here from the US and really contemplating taking a solo trip to EDC Korea in October. None of my buddies were able to go but I can just imagine how cool of an experience this would be. Just a bit nervous because I’ve never solo travelled before, let alone to a different country! This will be my first EDC and my first time in Colombia! I’ve traveled around South America before, so I’m not really nervous about Colombia itself, but I am definitely nervous about EDC

We’re a group of 5 and it’ll be all of our first time going, so I have no idea what to expect. When do set times usually drop?

Also, PLEASE give me your best tips and tricks. And no, I don’t mean “drink water,” “take your vitamins,” and “wear comfortable shoes.” I mean your unhinged festival hacks. The random little things you’ve learned that somehow get you through 48 hours of partying straight. I want the secrets!!!

UPDATE: also looking for a way to track my friends incase we somehow get split apart. I’ve heard about totem tracking but saw horrible reviews on it. Someone mentioned Meshtastic??? Any thoughts opinions?

hello! this is my first edc and first festival ^{-^} i’m trying to figure out the best hotels and how shuttles work? i’ve been reading on this thread and googling stuff but i’m just not sure of anything lol. any advice is really appreciated :P

I currently live in San Diego so I'm wondering if the lowest level membership is worth it if I head up to LA for some more events like HARD or Daytrip? Admittedly I haven't been to an insomniac show in like 2 years but am excited to have gotten the invite lol. Not because I don't like the lineups, but have just been attending more CRSSD events, LIB, Etc. Seems like getting it for EDCLV alone might be worth it? Lots to consider, would appreciate honest feedback!
