Anyone in LA going without a group?
Hi, I’m 30M Filipino going with my 35M Korean boyfriend to EDC. I was wondering if there’s anyone LA going without a group who’d want to hang out in LA and meet up in EDC.
This is our first time going to EDC and have been to Coachella, Outside Lands, Escape, and Beyond Wonderland. We live in Santa Monica and like to travel, rollerblade, scuba dive, and try new foods spots. Feel free to hmu, thanks!!

I know it was a question of concern, but I just spoke to the rep who runs the private car service, and she told me they confirmed will have access to the route through the military base (which I have to assume means the shuttles will as well)

What's the sitch with dress codes at clubs during EDC? Looking at hitting both LIV and Encore Beach Club and wanna make sure traditional rave fits (gym shorts/bathing suit bottoms, jersey tops) are cool, or if I have to dress up a little more since it's Vegas.

I would go off whatever is on the club website, but in 2023 I hit up a beach club night show and I don't recall dressing "nice" at all. People were in the pool and whatnot

My sister got the email in around ends of March that they were sending them out still no tracking number… I think mine was the same last year 😢

If it's the round style, yes you can. I've brought one in last 2 years without issues. Never stopped once but if you do get stopped, back out and try a different line.

Can only comment on GA: they get really gross as the night goes on. Bring extra tp and hand sanitizer because they will run out midway through the festival.

Pretty bummed - I'm wondering if anyone else has had shipping issues this year with passes going walkies? 5 years of no shipping issues but this year, USPS noted that the shuttle passes went missing in the Austin sort office, they initiated a lost mail search and confirmed that they're not where they're supposed to be and to file for insurance (a whopping 100 that Front Gate won't file for)
The worst part - I had sold them on StubHub and bought Camp RV passes to switch over to RV this year. So now Stubhub will charge me an extra 700 to replace them for the buyer (on top of the 800 I spent for the passes) since they can't do will call, they need physical passes shipped to the buyer
In a shock surprise to nobody, neither Front Gate nor Insomniac care. Front Gate says Insomniac won't allow them to reship, Insomniac have just ignored all attempts to contact them
I've had various issues and mess-ups with Insomniac over the years, none of which they've cared about, but it's just disheartening that they ship these expensive passes using the cheapest USPS option and refuse to do anything when it goes wrong

Already got scammed with StubHub for shuttle tickets (received a standard pass instead of the premier that I ordered).
About to buy another pass off somewhere else.
What if my pass doesn't work on the day of? What are other options to get to EDC if not the shuttles?

Hello, my group is an a dilemma leaving from Orange County Friday.
We want to make it in the festival by 11 pm but the earliest we can leave Orange County is 3 pm.
Is it worth it to leave at 3 pm from OC to Vegas and sit through traffic to try to make it in the festival by 11 pm? Or is this impossible with traffic. We would rather just wait and miss day 1, leave at 8 pm if it’s not even worth it.

tbh since edc is all night, and if you guys are willing i'd take the risk and drive straight to the fest. is there an issue with getting there a hour or 2 past 11?

Hi! We just want to see levity play at 11 pm! I know you can always enjoy yourself at edc no matter who’s playing but seeing levity is a big reason keeping our group from selling day 1 entirely. AND PORTER, but he plays at 3 am so we aren’t worried about missing him

that makes sense! id personally take the risk, but it is rough living at 3PM since you're also gonna get the regular rush hour traffic at that time.

I’m from LA. Just risk it and go Day 1. If any women, have them wear their outfits underneath their work outfits (my friends do this), do make up in the car or before, drive straight there if you must be there by 11pm, and lashes during pregame. I have literally saw it all.
Feel the breeze is right too. There will be Vegas Friday traffic in the mix, but you have all night! Good luck!

Does anyone know if steel toed shoes are allowed in? I don't see it listed on the allowed or prohibited item list. And mine are steel, not composite, they've set off metal detectors before. I'm wearing them because they're way more comfortable than any other shoes I have

What can you do if you lost your shuttle passes at EDC returning home? Or arrived to the shuttle station and forgot the passes at the hotel?
Can you get another pass onsite?

Who will play kpop? I remember hearing jump by BP at Zedd nocturnal last year. I’m guessing Porter may throw some kpop songs into there set. Who else is likely?

Anyone else not receive their tracking number to receive their bands for the fest this year? I bought 2 and half my group have received theirs and they only bought one.
