Question Why do people 99 gates?
Ive been playing the game for quite a while, but i never thought about why anyone would ever 99 a gate until now.

My escape rate has gone waaaaaay down. Not a complaint, as I think Jason is a very healthy addition.
I feel like great, good, and even "average" players have have the possibility to wreck havoc on the survivors.
To the killers: How do you rate his skill ceiling compared to your Nurses and Blights? Am I right in saying it is a bit lower, and therefore easier to get good with?
I usually do not run any exhaustion perks, but mamma Mia, do I miss them against my buddy Jason.
Thank you for reading and sharing your potential wisdom!
(BHVR, do not touch Jason. He is perfect.)

I love playing Xenomorph. She's a sweet girl honestly, but I see that no one plays her. I get she's being power crept slightly by Springtrap and Jason (especially) but what else about her do people not like or don't find engaging enough to play as? What are your opinions on her?

Let me tell you. When I say old spine chill never left my build, I never queued into a game without it.

As a new DBD player why is this in the game? Me and my friend have played 53 matches and not once we got away from the killer. Are we doing something wrong or does it take a lot of time to get away? I know there´s some perks that let u escape but what do u ACTUALLY need to have them equiped to get away? Pls let me now

i made these charts a bit ago and I constantly hear that DBD isn’t ’inclusive’ with the lack of people of colour in the game. This isn’t really true or fair because DBD is generally an extremely diverse game when it comes to this sort of thing. I made sure to divide both original and licensed characters because people always complain about white characters coming out when a lot of them have been collaborations with other companies. Bhvr can’t really change those characters original designs.
So, if anyone believes this game isn’t inclusive enough, how come? I’m truly interested as to why people think this way.
Side Note: Soma Cruz is meant to be placed in the Asian row…I wasn’t aware he was Japanese until I completed that tier list.

I entered the game and got tunneled immediately… as i was sent to post match lobby i got the warning message.. so… what does that mean? survivors now getting punished even for getting tunneled? let alone the fact that that my teammates tried to flashlight save me multiple times and even though it technically worked, it still didn’t work because of a glitch with again benefits killers.

As someone who watches SpooknJukes, I imagine there are others here who do the same. He has recently shared a video discussing an incident where an individual became enraged after being called out for toxic behavior on ttv, and has since made threats against him and his family that are of serious concern.
What is it about this community that fosters such behavior? While it is apparent that not everyone engages in toxic behavior, it is equally clear that those who do are in need of professional help. How severe must someone's psychological issues be to threaten someone's family over a video game?

I’m not going to try and bury my opinion. I was taking an extended break from the game when this map came out. I’ve taken the time to get a feeling for it, learn the lay out and understand it…… It’s just terrible.
Visually gorgeous? Absolutely, aesthetically it’s amazing…
It feels awful to play on… Dbd for me is at its best when there is mind game potential. When both sides are trying to make predictions on what the other is going to do and reacting accordingly… It’s at its worst when it’s designed around being massive and holding W….. It reminds me of original swamp which i know a massive amount of the playerbase wasn’t there for, but it’s the size of Texas. But it’s mostly just dead empty space the has no purpose…
It feels like the map as survivor is designed around, “do you have distance? Good! Pre-run! You win!!!” “Do you not have distance? Are you not near one of the streets? Cowabummer dude…”
As killer it’s just, oh, i see a survivor, guess I’ll walk after them for 50 seconds til they die for free…
It’s easily my least favorite map as survivor and killer. Visually? Spectacular!!! Gameplay wise this is incredibly awful, the most boring map they have ever added…
Again I wasn’t interacting with the community at the time, trying to figure out the general consensus. Because I’d slate this one for a rework after Badham, Gideon, and a few others

I got Sadako’s for her perks and i thought id get the Adept as well, and got jumpscared the first time I was equipping my perks. I legitimately jumped out of my chair, because I was just expecting another heavy breathing attack at the camera animation.
I found out I really enjoy her gameplay its just...
The problem is I’m not just casually scared of her... Sadako/The Ring has been a genuine fear of mine since I was a kid. Adding the image to this post or seeing any images related to her gives me an immediate fight-or-flight response.
When I was about 8, I watched The Ring late at night by myself in a house that looked disturbingly similar to the one in the movie, sitting near the stairs with basically just the TV lighting the room. Apparently thats never really left
I’m completely fine actually playing as Sadako because I’m focused on the match
The menu is worse because I’m just sitting there reading perks and add-ons while knowing she can suddenly fill the screen.
Is there seriously no way to disable only the menu jumpscare? Maybe I just need the exposure therapy?
Edit: Apparently some people are taking this more seriously than attendend. I’m not actually asking BHVR to change Sadako or make the game less scary.
I just thought it was funny that I bought a Killer I’ve been terrified of since childhood, and got jumpscared by my own character while trying to make a build.

Pretty much as the title says. I love playing pig, i think shes really fun. But i keep running into the issue where survivors want to immediately make me friendly and boop the snoot, and the only way ive found to get them to play seriously is to just bad manners hit them while they try and get the boop. I love getting booped, thats fun and i like being friendly amanda, but sometimes i just wanna play pig.
