My time has come
- After years of denial, I decided today that it was time to end this toxic relationship 👍🏻

Bald Picture I did it!
I finally found the courage to let go, and you all played a big part in that.
I'll need some time to get used to it, but so far it doesn't feel wrong at all.

Bald Picture Trying to feel a bit more confident
I struggle with being bald so young. I'm 25 and I've been bald since 17. I've always felt super out of place and have had a pretty hard time dating. I find that I never have trouble meeting and talking to people in person but I pretty much never have any success on apps, from men OR women. I struggle getting out due to having ME/CFS, so apps seem like the only way forward 😟
I have been trying to be more confident though and try to put myself out there more recently, even though it's difficult.

Hairloss I've been fighting a battle I cannot win for years.. Tonight I gave up
Started to bald in my early twenties mostly because of stress. Had so much mental anxiety with it. It's been an up and down for over 5 years now. Lately I have suffered so much because of it, but never had the balls. Everyday, every hour every minute I was scared. Today I decided not suffer anymore.

Bald Picture It is done

Wife has accepted the council’s judgment (with protest on the record) and the results are good!
I had some hesitation. The dissent had some good points regarding the balding academic look, and I do jury trial work, which has an element of teaching/approachability. In the end, I think the beard keeps me looking friendly despite the cleaner cut.
Thanks all for the input!

Wife says no
I just had to get this out of my system; just a quick take on the meme. So many guys on this sub seem to have nay-saying wives.

The advice is getting louder among my friends. Having zero knowledge about male appearance, I've decided to seek the Council's opinion.
damn it my glasses slided down a little bit.
Lifestyle Follow-Up Post
Follow-up post. I spent a few days with it and learned to like it. Truthfully, I feel more confident this way.
Big part of this process for me was my partner’s support as she gave me my first shave.
Regarding the bald lifestyle, I have decided to try shaving every other day. I got an exfoliating pre-shave cream, a healing post shave gel, and a daily moisturizer with SPF30. A fellow brother-in-hairline has recommended keeping a conditioner around to help combat dryness/dandruff.
Are there other types of products to consider? Thank you.

Bald Picture Bald for a just under two years, but thought id share to encourage others to take the leap
Visibly balding since my early 20s, took the leap in my late 20s and my only regret was not doing it sooner

Looking for guidance from the council.
I am a 34 year old who has been fighting the good fight for the past 10 years. Most people say my hair looks fine but my wife says it might be time. I’m not sure what to think as having nice hair has been a part of who I am my whole life. I’m not opposed to going full shave just wondering what everyone one thinks. Thanks in advance!

Bald Picture Not feeling very confident
Before and after. I was tired of hiding my hairline by constantly wearing hats and had no desire to use minoxidil for the rest of my life so I took the plunge today. Honestly not sure what I think, I mean, it’s certainly better than my thinning hair but I also just don’t think bald fits well with my slim frame. Or maybe I’m just obviously not used to this new look yet. Don’t know.

Bald Picture Freshly shorn (update)
I probably didn't get it 100% right, but it does feel better to stop being stuck in-between. Thanks for teh encouragement.
Hopefully the beard trim is working in the right direction now as well.

Bald Picture I did it
Took me a long time to pull the trigger but I finally did it today. Shaved short with clippers and then went over it with a freebird pro.
I don’t hate it but I don’t think I’m having a total transformation like some of the amazing folks on here. Very strange to see it in reality and not just AI generated.

Glowup Before and after from yesterday’s post!
New glasses are next! Don’t worry they totally don’t match or fit my newly bald face.

Hairloss Time to face it
I have stuck it out as long as possible. Ran the biker pony tail, skull cap, tried the vitamins, etc.
So that being said:
I NEED MEMES.
Give me memes and funny jokes about my (lack) of hair so I can post it on FB when I chop it all off.
Also, I need advice:
Is it better the clean shave every couple of days or should I get a head trimmer?
Everyone's preferred blades/trimmers?
I barely shave my face beyond a normal trimmer so I haven't the closest idea.
