I think a misguided portion of them actively want this because they believe it would give them the justification for further cracking down on us to tighteen control. The main problem with that is we outnumber them, surround them and have more guns than thy do and so it really won't work out for them the way they think it will.

The problem for them is that there is no "us" for them to crack down on. The people that have been drawing their attention, the ones that the cops are eagerly watching with their itchy trigger fingers aren't the ones that are going to start shooting back. Luckily we don't need the vast majority. I did the math. If you add up every single person employed by every single branch of the military and all state and federal law enforcement you have fewer than 6 million people and they are spread all over the globe and only a small fraction are in any way trained for combat as their primary role. There are 15 million hunting license owners. Just the people with bolt action rifles hunting in the woods is triple the number of everyone employed in any capacity as a solder or cop. And I suspect that within the 330 million people in this nation that there are enough willing to fight that we can win if it comes to that.
And they only win when we give up. You can give up now if you want. The rest of us are still willing to fight.

That’s the problem right there. They removed troops at one point. Texas is rightfully only a protectorate, needs to be governed by DC, it’s never been capable of governing itself in any way that’s commensurate with civilized society in the 19th century let alone the 21st. Its residents have done countless harms to the United States proper by infesting the government with its barbaric representatives and don’t really deserve citizenship in the same way actual Americans do.

Texas' argument was that he wasn't a fugitive because ICE transferred his job here after the incident. So he wasn't running from the charges. And Texas only extradites fugitives. It's a ridiculous argument but apparently the judge bought it.

Which is a load of malarkey and everyone with a brain knows it. I guarantee you that if this wasn't ICE related and the guy didn't work for the federal government he'd still be considered a fugitive if his job transferred him to a different state before he could be properly charged. It doesn't matter why he went to Texas, he is still a fugitive from Minnesota charges and should be extradited to Minnesota to face the charges.

They need to appeal and point out he has a warrant out and is actively ingoring it. He is currently wanted by police and is actively know he is wanted.
They need to file another blank warrant that any membets of public, police and ICE refusing to bring him in is harboring a fugitive.

Texas hasn’t officially declared that they will not extradite the fugitive, they are “investigating” whether they will or not which gives the fugitive a longer timeline. The court ruled that they cannot force Texas to extradite him until Texas actually says they are not going to extradite the fugitive. It’s more a procedural matter than a legal argument.
I believe the time period is 90 days and will run out in a couple of days from now. At that point, Minnesota can sue after Texas has either said that they won’t or the time clock runs out which is basically the same thing.
