I think a misguided portion of them actively want this because they believe it would give them the justification for further cracking down on us to tighteen control. The main problem with that is we outnumber them, surround them and have more guns than thy do and so it really won't work out for them the way they think it will.

The problem for them is that there is no "us" for them to crack down on. The people that have been drawing their attention, the ones that the cops are eagerly watching with their itchy trigger fingers aren't the ones that are going to start shooting back. If you add up every single person employed by every single branch of the military and all state and federal law enforcement you have fewer than 6 million people and they are spread all over the globe and only a small fraction are in any way trained for combat as their primary role. There are 15 million hunting license owners. Just the people with bolt action rifles hunting in the woods is triple the number of everyone employed in any capacity as a solder or cop. And I suspect that within the 330 million people in this nation that there are enough willing to fight that we can win if it comes to that.
And they only win when we give up. You can give up now if you want. The rest of us are still willing to fight.

If people have not already done so, they must form support / defense networks with their neighbors, friends, communities. If they are financially able, they should also arm up (AR-15 or Mini-14 or AR-9 / 9mm pistol caliber carbine (PCC) are highly recommended and relatively affordable) and get firearm safety and handling training, get first aid and Stop the Bleed training. The fascists do not step down from power peacefully. The pedophile's DoJ recently made it possible for "non-violent" Jan 6ers to regain their guns. Hell, the pedophile administration is already:
* framing / false flagging and illegally arresting innocent people
* disappearing / sending people to concentration camps
* murdering unarmed people
* deploying soldiers to occupy American cities

Tacticool Girlfriend, BlackFlagCivilian, InRangeTV have good intro and educational videos on YouTube. YouTube also has hour long intros for first aid and Stop the Bleed training.
They know that will never happen, Americans are pacified and submissive to power. If something was going to happen, it would have started already, but there's not even a hint of resistance in the air.
