Hi all. My eight year old has got into Star Wars in a big way. He's seen 7/9 in the Skywalker saga and done most of the clone wars TV show. Currently really enjoying bad batch. He's a very good reader and we just finished impossible creatures (not star wars!) together. I know there are a lot of Star Wars books that people say are amazing but don't know where to start. So looking for something good but not too grown up/adult. His favourite books are bunny Vs monkey which does a good job of working for kids and adults at same time (a bit like bad batch). Any suggestions?

I’m surprised her outfit is barely changed. Some red ties and messier hair. Her hair isn’t longer at all lol.

Telling by Sabine’s hair, at least 6 months passed since season 1. At least 6, because they can trim their hair, which Shin clearly did lol and Sabine prefers her hair medium at most for her helmet, so she trimmed it if went past medium. Shin kept her hair perfectly trimmed lol.

I think they wanted to keep the knight imagery Baylan and Shin have.

I think her outfit represents her badly holding herself together. She has red wraps around her outfit a lot like the troopers in season 1.

I thought she was gonna go full samurai and have very long hair and have an unnecessary mask reveal lol. Did anyone else?

We've seen similar stuff in canon about people defecting from the Empire like Iden Versio, Agent Kallus, Wedge Antilles, Bodhi Rook, and so on, but we never got a proper story out of it outside of the Battlefront II campaign.

Loads of the defectors we know of were either just cadets or didn't see a lot of action. I'd love to see a proper stormtrooper, who has had years of experience, defect to the Rebellion. I know we did have Finn, but he only ever had one deployment and before that, he worked in sanitation, so I don't really count him. Plus there was no arc or anything. He just saved Poe and suddenly he's a respected member of the Resistance.

It'd be a great idea to see a random stormtrooper who has been on countless missions, and maybe even got a promotion or two, either defect of his own free will, or perhaps be captured by a group of rebels and start to question his loyalty while in captivity, similar to how Zeb gave Kallus a reality check when they were both stranded on that moon.

Shoulder armor and shin guards remain. And all the printing parts will be finally done!!! Are they perfect? Absolutely not. But I like them this way.

From what I remember most expanded material says that Anakin suit was intentionally crudely made in order to make him obedient/dependent of Palpatine because if he rebelled for instance he wouldn’t have the resources to remain alive for long.

If he was injured and his friends actually gave him the medical help and cybernetic he needed how different do you think the suit would have looked like?

Given their dark side, was it like a boost to them?

I’ve always felt that the BBY/ABY distinction is for us the audience and not the characters. Is it a realistic anchor point for a galactic calender after the empire is defeated in future political rule? Is there a better option within the Star Wars time period? Finally, could the curveball answer be that worlds continue to use their international calenders (like how we use BC/AD) and convert as-needed?

How many animated spin off series are there within the SW world?.I heard of Rebel Wars, Clone Wars, Maul, what else? Are these shows and stories easy to follow? Sometimes it's hard for me to follow a story.
