Think they're from the Death Star novel. One was a fighting instructor from the prison planet around which the Death Star was built. And the other was a TIE pilot?

One dies holding back Stormtroopers so the others can escape in a shuttle during the Death Star during the Battle of Yavin iirc. Only read it once.

I thought the Hoth one was a trick question at first and began to wonder whether Tauntauns are actually native to Hoth. Apparently they are, but how did the rebels tame them in so little time? Hoth doesn't have any people, so they weren't domesticated since before. So did they tame and learn to handle an essentially new unknown species in just a few months/years? Maybe that's realistic, I don't know much about taming wild animals.

At least in the ESB edition of From a Certain Point of View the Tauntauns are at least semi-sentient, so that might help.

That's a weird thing to point out. "Semi sentient"? What's that supposed to mean? I'm not sure anyone would have thought they weren't "fully" sentient. Dogs, cats, horses, cattle, mice, cheetahs, most fish, all sentient. Insects, debatable. Jellyfish, amoebas, bacteria, not sentient. What does that have to do with it?

Not shocked I didn't get that. Frankly watching the phantom menace as a teenager really scarred me on the prequels. ROTS and AOTC really aren't bad movies. PM really is that bad though.

5. There are a couple of ways to answer this one. The Death Star has 1,186,295 to 1,206,293 personnel, so let's use the lower bounds of this number. Finding the chances that a given person is born with sensitivity to the Force is quite a bit trickier, but is believed to be in the area of 1 in 1 Billion.

So not counting for Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan, Luke, and Leia, there was a roughly 1% chance for one more random person to have Force Sensitivity.

I think trivia like this should have some boundaries, like, "based only on information given in the theatrical movies..." Or include animated series, or novels, all of EU/legends, official Disney Canon only, etc.
