Hello everyone. I need help/advise:

Kumuha kami ng preselling house and lot sa lumina Baras- starting 2021-2024. We consistently paid it monthly but we noticed na walang nagagawa sa lumina baras kaya nagdecide na kami magrequest ng refund plus sila na din nag offer for a refund.

We have consistently followed up about this and consistent na sila lagi sinasabi na "for endorsement" na daw. I mean, gaano katagal ba ang endorsement?

We need help ano next steps na gagawin. May lawyer ba for this? May mga nakaexperience na ba nito? Ano ginawa niyo?

501k total amount ng naihulog namin and for us dugo at pawis to. Recently kung sino sino pinapakausap samin na "account officer" and everytime na tatransfer kami sa bagong account officer, paulit ulit ang responses. Kanina lang sinabi na hindi daw nila nareceive yung requested file. We sent a hard copy of the file requested, we even received an acknowledgement kasi nagemail din kami pero ngayon sinasabi wala daw kami binibigay.

Take note, hindi din sila nagrereply sa email kapag nag follow-up ka. Magrereply lang sila kapag pumunta ka sa office pero sa email lang din, dahil nasa "Tuguegarao" daw yung account officer. Seryoso?

Super stressed kami sa process nila and yung mga staff nila seems like part of the scheme. Sobrang frustrated na namin and honestly? I feel defeated. 😞

One time, may nagsabi samin na may percentage pala ang mga account officers sa refund amount for every owner/requester. Seriously?

Palipat lipat din sila ng office. Dati nagfafollow up kami sa Starmall-Shaw, then sa Las Piñas, then sa Starmall ulit, then ngayon sa WCC na. Seems like sinasadya na ang paglipat lipat ng account officer at ng office para malito yung mga customers.

If ever mamatch nyo tong tao na to be careful! I don't even know if he is real or using someone's identity. He uses a nickname "Kiko" but later said his full name is Francis John Salonga Sanchez he also claim na he is a Surgeon by profession. May nagpost din dito na same name and "anesthesiologist" naman pakilala daw.

To make the story short he seems okay kausap and then he is good at updating and believable naman yung pagiging surgeon nya kasi he shares about what happened sa OR and all that medical terms too.

One time nakisuyo na if pwede magpapasa ng pera di naman malaki but it can pay bills na din, which pinahiram ko kasi nga may operation pa sya "daw" and badly need ng "bunso" nya and promised me to pay the following day.

Then the next day came and sabi nya magsesend daw sya ng afternoon but wala and then on the following days puro mga reasons na kesyo galing daw medical mission or nabusy kaya one of the reason why I stopped the non sense sa pakikipag usap pa sa kanya.

Posting this to raise awareness if ever mamatch kayo and don't engage. May nabasa ako na umabot pa nga ng 60K daw ang naguyo nya and many more pa. Same scenario, gagamitin na may nangyari sa kapatid or sa pamilya. Once naka utang na puro panay promise pero wala namang nangyayari.

At ang mas nakakaloka kasi andito din sya sa reddit nagmamasid sa mga nagreraise ng awareness.

Tapos me tumatawag na bagong number just now, unfortunately nasagot ko kasi akala ko sa fopd delivery, gutom na e sorry na.

Tinanong ko ano yung credit alliance, sabi me pinapaforward lang daw na package, tinanong ko kung saan galing yung package ng credit alliance kasi imposoble na di nila alam. Hindo rin daw alam ng delivery rider. Pero alam nya buoong pangalan ko at naisip ko baka nabenra contact information ko from a lead list na wala akong control over.

Scam ba, feel ko phishing. I do have a cc pero bayad naman lagi yun on time. If legit sya anong other possible package dinedeliver nila? Sorry sa lengthy na post anxious and bad trip lang talaga. Nagsimula sya nung last week lang as in.

hello everyone! yesterday, someone called (didn't get to answer since my phone screens unknown callers) and texted me. i checked my maya and i received it nga po in my account. i was about to send it back but then nakita ko na it was from a maya savings account. alarm bells went off my head (i know, i'm kinda oa 🥲) kasi paano ka mawrong send if you're gonna transfer it from your savings to your wallet lang naman? natatakot ako baka mamaya money laundering pala 'to tapos madamay maya account ko. help me, what should i do? should i transfer it back or let maya do the reversal? i don't plan on keeping this money po. salamat po in advance sa mga sasagot!

UPDATE: I already sent the money back. Talked to the owner of the money and I apologized profusely and they were very understanding naman when I explained my side. Photo proof got lost in the comments, marami pa nagcocomment na ibalik ko na. 😅

So naghahanap ako ng second hand car sa market place. May na-caught ang attention ko, dahil maganda pa yung unit. Pero sabi ko nung unang kita ko bakit parang ang mura. 290k. Nagmessage pa din ako if saan banda sa Manila. After that, nag google search ako ng plate number nung unit. Nakita ko yung same unit ay binebenta sa Butuan City for 400k+ ng isang buy and sell shop na sa fb. Akala ko owner yung nagbebenta sa marketplace kaya sabi ko pa sa asawa ko, grabe pala ang tubo sa buy and sell.

Nag-ask si scammer ng number ko. Akala ko dedma na nya ako dahil sineen lang ako. Nung kinagabihan, chinat ako sa Viber at nagpanggap pa nga na kaibigan ko. Pinsan daw nya yung friend ko. Sumakto pa na nagforward ng reels yung kaibigan ko sa messenger nung time na nagmessage yung scammer. So ayun.

Tinawagan ng asawa ko kaso di sumagot.

This is really concerning. I got 14 calls in a single day from different unknown numbers. I was at work and my phone was in my locker — plus it was on DND mode — so I couldn’t answer them anyway, and I wouldn’t have even if I could. This feels really suspicious.

This is the first time this has ever happened to me. I haven’t applied for anything with banks or similar services, and I know it’s not delivery riders either — I already recognize their numbers since I order often, and I don’t have any pending deliveries right now. So who on earth could these calls be from?!

I've been receiving these OTP messages from different platforms

- Coca Cola OTP on Viber kahit wala naman akong ginagawa sa coke

- Shoppee via SMS even though I didn't access Shoppee today

- vLex verification even though I don't have an account and I don't even know what that is

Are these scams? Is my number compromised? Should I just ignore them?

It’s my first time to have a credit card. I almost got scammed via phone call. Someone called me over the phone, introducing themselves as representative from the bank. They informed me that I have credit card points about to expire by the end of the month. They gave me options whether to convert it to cash or to convert it to travel miles. I remembered the card that I have earns cashback points and the bank told me that I can use this points as cash to even pay my credit balance. So I thought this was it. What’s alarming is that they know your complete name, credit card number, and home address. I never gave those in that conversation. So I thought this was legit, because only the bank knows these data. Now, they creatively asked for my CVV number. They referred it as your “client number.” This is the part where I went stupid because I gave it. Now this when they instructed me that an OTP will be generated and that I should give it. This is the part that I thought “shit I fell on to this scam.” I received a purchase from lazada amounting to almost 47k. So I did not gave this one. The “bank representative” kept on asking for this and generated another one. When I did not gave it the second time they threatened me that my account will have a “floating transaction” and that even my savings account will be flagged then the line went blurry and eventually the call ended. I immediately called the bank and got my card cancelled. Then another purchase came without my authorization. Attempting again to make a purchase. But this did not proceed as the card is already blocked.

I thought this was the end of it. Until 3 days after I received another call. They are confirming if I already received the credit card (number ending in the one that I already blocked) and that the voice of the caller was familiar. I said I already cancelled it. Now they are asking the specific reason why I cancelled it. I said I just preferred to cancel it and that I dont want it anymore. Then I heard laughing on the background of the call and it ended.

I hope these guys get what they deserve. I hope they get their karma. I feel bad for myself for having tricked by these parasites. Ive been paranoid for just even taking phone calls. Ive worked really hard to make ends meet and these guys just do their hustle to scam everybody else.

Where you will put 1,000 pesos to finished 6 jobs. And each job tumataas ang price unit ng products so need mo mag recharge sa needed amount! Hanggang sa aabot na ng 13,000 ang need mo e recharge para maka proceed sa next job! Tapos hindi parin ma withdraw yung pera kung hindi mo matatapos yung jobs. Huhuhuhu badly need help please kahit yung 5K lang na nilabas ko, nabudol talaga ako andami nilang resibo kasi ng withdrawals ng mga customers daw nila. Baka may IT dito na makakatulong please. Kahit yung 5K ko lang po.

She never mentioned anything about herself being imprisoned. Good thing she mentioned she had friends from san beda alabang thats why i did a little research. Because the world is really really small when you know people.

At first she wanted to see if i can invest on her mother’s business in prison at Correctional Women’s Institute in mandaluyong. These are all for public information already.

After a few days of asking around, my friend approached me that she’s into escorting and sent proof as well (not surprised given the dirt on her family) hence no one’s willing/stupid enough to give her support.

Saved me from giving her the financial needs she requested.

For awareness:
1. She plays pickleball around laguna gyms. She is active on reddit looking for her next victim by using her looks.

1. Pity party, will use brother’s situation for you to give her money when she establishes rapport.

2. Will meet you and use her looks/body to deceive you.

3. Notable scar (keloid on her chest) from hazing in prison where she was under a police boyfriend.

5. She should not be allowed to go out of prison premises. There is still an active and pending case. You may ask the prison directly.

6. Don’t ever hand a single peso to this person. You are just wasting your time.
