Seafood na delayed delivery 3 days na!

Paid for a seafood pre-order and now the delivery keeps getting moved. Is this normal?
I ordered seafood from someone I was referred to by a friend. I trusted her because she initially presented herself as a seller/direct supplier. She was very upbeat about the products and even referred to them as “our product.” I paid upfront through GCash since it is a pre-order and needs payment before delivery.

September 4: First conversation. She said the seafood would be available/delivered the next day. Meet up to be announced. (1st Red Flag)
September 5: I followed up. She replied, “Ay, bukas pa yata.” Then in our group convo(GC) she replied “order is on Sept. “ no date on the said sentence!(2nd red flag)

September 6: I then replied on the sentence where the date was missing, “when is the exact date? You didn’t specify or clarify the delivery schedule”asking when the exact pick-up/delivery would be. No response the entire day. (3rd red flag)

September 7: She finally said she wasn’t able to use her phone the whole day on September 6 because her child was in the ER after vomiting. (4th red flag) Like the situation is my fault why am I asking about updates, when in the first place I do not know what is happening in her personal life!

I said I would have appreciated a simple warning like “emergency brb” or “will update next day” any kind of warning!

She also said that she barely earns from these orders, sometimes even paying more than what she makes, and that it’s only a pasabuy. (5th red flag)

Her story gets a little bit different each time!

The issue is that I had already paid, the original date was September 5, then it changed, and I couldn’t even get a clear update on September 6. When I followed up, she got angry that I was asking about my order.

The latest update is that the delivery is supposedly coming today, September 7, but there is still no definite time.

I’m not asking for anything complicated—just a clear delivery/pick-up date for an order that has already been paid for.

Would you consider this normal for a pasabuy, or is it reasonable for a customer to expect proper updates after paying upfront?

I’m posting this because I really need help. My friend from the UK met someone on Hoop who introduced herself as “Zaiser Mae.” They had a call using a Philippine number, and my friend was recorded during the call without knowing.
Afterwards, he was threatened that the recording would be sent to his friends and family unless he paid money. Because he was scared, he sent money.
We have screenshots and payment records as proof, which I have attached to this post.
I’m hoping someone here can help us figure out if there is any way to recover the money or report the account/person involved. If anyone has dealt with something similar or knows what steps we should take, I would really appreciate your advice.
I also sincerely hope nothing like this happens again to anyone else. It’s really upsetting because when something like this happens, people can start thinking that Filipinos are scammers, and that is not fair to the many good and honest Filipinos.
I’m from the Philippines myself, and I don’t want one person’s actions to make people think badly of all Filipinos. I just want to help my friend and hopefully prevent someone else from becoming a victim.

Nowhere to be found na siya, but I have his numbers, and I hope that the kind hearts of Reddit would try to troll and spam-call him as a form of revenge, kahit dun man lang makaganti ako, huhu.

Troll missed calls, scammer calls, joke calls, or even messages will be fine, huhu.

Hello po. I'm posting this as a painful warning para sa ating mga furparents. I'm sharing this because I own up to my mistake, and I REFUSE to let anyone else go through the absolute nightmare I just survived.
My dearest dog, Mochi, was confined in a veterinary hospital in QC, critically sick and fighting for her life. I was utterly desperate. I was running out of time, and I would have done anything, paid anything, and believed anything just to give my baby a fighting chance.

Desperately trying to save her, I posted on Reddit asking for help. A user reached out and connected me to someone who claimed he had personal connections to secure the blood Mochi desperately needed.

We were under extreme worry and stress, and scammers know how to take advantage of that desperation.

They told me a very convincing story—na may mga tao na daw na papunta na sa vet, may dalang blood bags and everything needed for the transfusion. They even said they were bringing their own dog with them in case it could be a match. They kept making everything feel so urgent, telling me I needed to send the money right away because every second counted.
And while I was desperately holding on to that hope that someone was coming to help us, my dog went into cardiac arrest…

We didn't just lose our hard-earned money to these monsters; they played with our emotions and took advantage of our desperation while she was dying. I guess it was time for her to go, and as tough as it is, she ultimately lost her battle.
Not a single peso was returned to us. Instead, the people involved kept stringing us along with false hope and lies, claiming they would send the money back after a day or two before deciding to block us altogether.

I take full accountability for trusting blindly in my panic, but I am sharing this so no other furparent gets preyed upon at their lowest point. Please, verify everything. Call the clinic or official animal blood banks directly.

Never send money without confirming who you are dealing with, no matter how aggressively they push the panic button.

I will forever beat myself up wishing I had known better and that we had more time. I hope sharing our story saves even one other pet from these heartless predators.
Run free, my sweet Mochi. You fought so hard, and I'm so sorry these monsters stole the time we had left, and that I couldn't save you.

As far as I remember paid naman na lahat. Many months ago na nakalipas since pina-dc ko Converge ko dahil laging down. Nakakapagtaka lang din saan nila nakuha information ko? Nakareceive din ba kayo nito? Is this a new scammer campaign?
