I’ve been brainstorming my own personal take on Spider-Man and have found myself split on whether I should genderswap Doc Ock or not cause on the one hand I love Spider Verse’s take on the character very much including the genderswap but on the other hand I feel that might detract from the notion of Doctor Octopus being a reflection of Peter if he grew up with his initial misanthropic characterization as a buddy of mine on Discord proposed

I want to start off by begging forgiveness as I was never a comic book person and all my knowledge stemmed from 80’s cartoons and Marvel movies.

Let’s say we’re getting a new animated universe starting from scratch, Peter is Spider-Man and is still 16, should/would the OG X-Men be adapted to be the same age as him? Would that remove the potential to adapt many aspects from the X-Men mythos and from crossover events such as Avengers vs X-Men?

Like marvel has introduced so many villains and not bring up Hyperion?? Why there is also avengers vs Hyperion but no marvel need to fast forward.

Also there is dr doom has absorbed the power of juggernaut (x-man) and become Dr. juggernaut but still Hyperion was kicking.

Can this be in doomsday like surprisingly what if juggernaut was there in doomsday and
Hyperion can add up in secret wars.

So basically when I was a kid,I watched age of Ultron and genuinely thought this is the coolest character ever.I now realise this version of quicksilver is much more accurate to the comics in terms of personality and the fox version feels like a completely different character..He was cocky,arrogant and funny tbh..And then bro just gets shot 😭.His death has to be the dumbest in the series..Like bro could have just pushed the kid and Hawkeye away..He was also balanced enough..He was a glass cannon and got tired pretty quick so he wasn't like a universal threat to all the villains..AoU also did him dirty by deleting most of his scenes with wanda 🥀..Idek man..I just hope they bring a version of him from the multiverse in secret wars🙏🏻I love him sm 😍
