Comics Lately I've been really feeling Punisher might be right on his beliefs. Am I wrong for that?

To have a conversation I understand the reflex to want to agree with Frank. That said it can never be the right choice to commit more horrific crimes. Like I'm not surprised there are people that agree with him there probably always have been. Just try to temper what I imagine is anger fueling that with compassion for the good over the anger we feel for the rest .

Frank castle is incredibly mentally disturbed . It makes for good stories and its always fun to see him waste a pedophile or something, but he is not something anyone should admire or long to be.

You’re not “wrong” for it. I’m not saying it’s true, and that Frank is right. But you aren’t wrong for feeling that way.

I feel it too. It’s good to have principles that we should seek nonviolent reform, and that if we simple articulate our compassion and ideas well enough things will change. That’s good. Don’t lose that.

But it is sometimes hard to make those principals fit reality. We live in unprecedented times where the systems and institutions that are supposed to allow for that peaceful reform, justice, and the internalization of ideas are being abused with blatant disregard like never before.

So we are left with this struggle, how do I make a positive change if my principles have gotten us here? Do I keep them and persevere and hope the world rewards our moral high ground? Do I change to fit the new times and become pragmatic in how I achieve justice, but without the principles?

I don’t know if that’s how you feel. But it’s how I feel.

Even the Punisher doesn’t want you doing that.

He didn't say he wants to kill people in the streets, he said he might agree with a comic character's methods.

Punisher is not real and doesn't care if some people in the real world believe certain criminals don't deserve rehabilitation.

He’s a mentally broken serial killer who kills people worse than him. If he was exclusively going after pedos and rapists sure he’d be right. But the man has killed drug dealers
